To flee!!!!!! Icy welcome!!!! The owners are as haughty as possible and look down on you from the start! The worst was yet to come when they discovered that we had arrived with our 2 and a half year old little girl! Scandal on the side of the road because children are not accepted! Obviously no exceptions will be made! The “sweet” owner still compared our little girl to a pet!!!! And to quote her: “children are cute but they’re like little dogs, they scratch the floors…. »

The room is nice, but the owners are loathsome. They attacked us upon reception on the grounds that the room had only been reserved for 1 person and that there were 2 of us. Obsequious in the extreme. Everything about them is “simple and intuitive”, but there is no toilet paper (a shame for a room at this price!), nor soap in the shower. They also couldn't stand the fact that we didn't want to have lunch with them. We have no regrets and will never recommend this “stone house” where the hospitality is in keeping with the name.

The house is comfortably equipped. It perfectly combines modern comforts with the character of the place. The rooms have very comfortable beds, high-quality bedding and furniture, as well as TV and many other amenities. The bathrooms are spacious and tastefully equipped, just like the entire house. Every part of it has been tastefully decorated. Guests have at their disposal a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge, as well as a dining room and a living room. The internet works very well and the water is hot at any time :)

Like all the other comments here, extremely unpleasant welcome. No way to ask to arrive a little earlier (just to clean up before a wedding) you are told coldly “it’s 4 p.m. sharp”. The height? At breakfast when the man keeps telling us that we have to leave at 11am. I kindly offer to clear my boyfriend's breakfast and he replies "well since you're out in 4 minutes, I'll do it" and keeps repeating that we should have left at 11am sharp. I think the man is sick and has some problems. He is very aggressive so I do not recommend this place for anyone because it could be dangerous. I didn't feel safe. I sent a message to the owner to let her know about the problem but she never responded. For the very expensive price, you have a room with a highway view…

Extremely unpleasant and even aggressive welcome. Absolutely no sense of service. Impossible to check in before 4 p.m. when you come for only one night and the price of the room remains high. Worse, I arrived at 3:45 p.m. and the host on the intercom seemed very surprised to see me, to the point of making me wait ten minutes in front of the door before letting me in. The nightmare did not end there, the next morning we were reminded at 10:35 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. that check-out was at 11 a.m. sharp, the host going so far as to eavesdrop on our private conversations during breakfast , nervous that we might imagine leaving the establishment at 11:01. It’s the first time I’ve felt intrusive in a place that’s supposed to be built around welcoming people. We were there for a wedding and other guests found cheaper and much nicer solutions nearby so move on!

Owners more than adorable...to become friends!!! Welcome, advice, rooms, premises, setting at the top of good taste!!! To be recommended to all lovers of beautiful stones, beautiful buildings, and the know-how of living in Royal land. Only 1 downside, the swimming pool was not yet ready... Its future discovery in water is a date noted in red in our family diary! Obligatory stop before discovering the Royal lands of Orléans!

No flexibility or willingness to accommodate. We made a reservation the day before for the next day, not clearly seeing that children under 16 were not accepted, even though we were coming with our little baby. It was by asking for a little flexibility on arrival times that we realized our mistake. The unfriendly and inflexible manager only recited her conditions to the letter and coldly preferred, despite our sorry explanations, to keep the price of the room rather than being understanding and canceling it without charge, a gesture which would have been graceful and appropriate given the circumstances. We turn to family establishments in particular for their flexibility and their welcome, it is clear that this is not the case at Maison du Caillou, which lives up to its name.

A short but extremely pleasant stay, I came with my partner to propose to her. The priority ones helped me and prepared everything in the room while we were at the restaurant with my partner so that they could surprise her when she got home. Everything was perfect, whether in terms of the welcome in the room, the cleanliness of the cottage, everything is completely new and of very good quality, a very complete breakfast and very good value for money given the services provided. We were very pleasantly surprised and we will come back with our eyes closed.
