It would be a crime to give anything less than 5 stars. Firstly, I entered the museum for free with a Student card. The museum and exhibits were excellent- well maintained, very wide scope of specimens and very well displayed. Compared to some of the other museums with fossils on display, this one is undoubtedly one of the best I've had the privilege of visiting. The dinosaur fossil specimens are EXCELLENT. Very fine specimens, and the aide of natural sunlight really helps to display them brilliantly. Very impressed.

A museum that enables you to trace the evolution of man and the animal kingdom and their impact on our planet. It is rich in information and specimens that can be discovered, and it left us speechless because of its beauty and the abundance of things that can be seen and discovered, fossils, dinosaur skeletons, and creatures that you would not believe lived millions of years ago on the planet. I highly recommend this museum to those who want to discover and learn where we come from!

It was a really hot day in paris so we spontaneously decided to cool down a bit inside the museum and it was a great idea… the kids enjoyed it a lot and we got to cool down from the heat wave…

A must visit if you like natural sciences and paleontology. Specially if you are travelling with kids, they will love it. It's situated in a beautiful garden which you can enter without tickets. From there you can go to different exhibitions and get their tickets at the entrance to their buildings, or simply enjoy the gardens which are beautiful on their own.

I've been to this park before and fell in love with the trees and flowers there, but this was my first time in this museum (they have another museum on the other side of the park). I'm fascinated by butterflies and seashells and marine life. Sometimes the lights change color to resemble night time so it's a bit dark and hard to see, but this is a very beautiful museum.

(Translated by Google) This natural history museum is really great! There are skeletons (the most incredible are those of dinosaurs). It can be visited fairly quickly, but that is sufficient. (Original) Ce musée d'histoire naturelle est vraiment très bien ! Il y a des squelettes ( les plus incroyables sont ceux des dinosaures ). Il se visite assez rapidement, mais cela est suffisant.

This is one of the most fascinating natural history museums that I’ve ever been to. The exhibits are incredibly detailed. The fossils and skeletons of the dinosaurs and animals were the stars of this amazing museum. The interior and exterior of the museum are also gorgeous. I visited during a weekday when crowds were minimal. If you love natural history museums, definitely add this to your to-visit list in Paris.

The museum has a good collection of skeletons and fossils. No English translation anywhere in this museum. The presentation of skeletons is pretty straight forward. Nothing creative. No sketch of how the extinct animals may have looked in the past except few. No interactive videos.

A big museum consisted of separate buildings. The main gallery of evolution is placed on a 4-floor building. Inside it's huge and a lot of animal kinds and specimens. Great for kids and adults as well.

What an incredibly interesting museum! It holds fossilised plants, creatures, and critters from over 200 million years ago to the organs of more recent mammals and reptiles across its three floors. The sheer amount of specimens that can be observed here is remarkable and fascinating, a good few hours would need to be set aside to look at all of these in great detail which is perfect for return trips to the French capital. Moreover, the museum is free to anyone under 25 and fairly cheap prices for anyone else. It’s simply a great visit to experience if in the area.

(Translated by Google) The museum brings together several galleries: the great gallery of evolution, the gallery of paleontology, that of anatomy. Plan a long day to visit everything. The palaeontology and anatomy galleries are from the period, in old buildings which provide an ideal backdrop for taking some photos. Most are accessible free of charge to children and students (Original) Le musée regroupe plusieurs galeries : la grande galerie de l'évolution, la galerie de paléontologie, celle d'anatomie.. We visited the place. It was quite interesting und looks like in an old movie. But the entrance price is a no go, considering that the building is leaking and not renovated. The money from the entrance must be put into the building. It is so sad, that such a historical building is slowly dying. -- Dear visitors, please also consider, that you need to buy a ticket for all the buildings separately. In the end it sums up to quite a high amount. Especially for families!--

Beautiful museum with a great collection housed in a spectacular building. Support for information in languages other than French is not provided at any of the exhibits and lighting is low so reading many information plaques is difficult anyway. Otherwise, a very worthwhile stop. Plan a good 2-3 hours to cover the ground.

I truly liked the museum. A great place if you have kids or you like natural sciences. You will find some interactive screens to play and learn. The museum is big, but there is a cafe in the second floor if you are looking for a break. My recommendation is to focus on the sections that you have more interest. Sadly, some sections are not in English.

Great experience for people who are interested. It was exciting to see fossils dating back million years, especially those of T-Rex and other dinosaurs. The only problem faced was that all the writings were in french. So I had to translate many descriptions under each display.

It is a very large collections of bones and some replicas. Each floor is dedicated to specific periods of time. This building is my classic image of a museum but I felt overwelmed by the amount of pieces, also the place it is clean but I felt like maintenance is missing. As foreing it’s sad don’t have text in other languages than french.

Beautiful museum. You will think you have stepped into Jules Verne's secret Laboratory as soon as you enter the grand hall. The exhibits arranged nicely with ocean life in the basement going up to land mammals on the ground floor then birds and monkeys on the upper levels. the museum is also surrounded by a gorgeous Park that you should take some time and explore. I highly recommend this for something off the beaten path for when you're in Paris.
