Are you fond of modern art and gardens? Lucky you🏆, this beautiful place has both😍 Put this place in your bucket!! new exposition every year, I will definitely try to come next year. You will need about 3-4 hours to explore all exhibition. Look for a small cafe 👀 in a basement in about 200 meters from the entrance to Gardens Festival, come and try out their artesanal 🍦 ! I took matcha and mango&ginger, it was 🤤😋

The gardens were designed by all facets of the of garden community. That's why it's concerned international renowned. If you ask me, I've seen better garden designs throughout the world. How about Butchard Gardens? This one is hard to beat. Well, so be it! The Chateau was worth our time. It's so beautiful!

This is the second time we have visited here. It is one of the prettiest and well maintained out of all the Châteaus in the Loire valley. However since last going there seems to be a lot of changes. They have been very strict around rules, making it at times a little different to relax. We were taking a few moments under a tree with the dog to keep her out of the sun, but were instructed to move to another location, but could not see any reason🤷‍♂️, then wanted to visit the courtyard but was told I couldn't with the dog, but this was clearly not requiring entry into the main building so again could not understand why. Then to leave the courtyard you were forced to go through the shop, again changes. But don't be put off by these rather regimented ruled. It is amazing with loads of small unique gardens, beautiful buildings and large garden. Most are fine for your dog to visit and go early, there is a lot to see and your need the time. Icing on the cake, huge carpark for your motorhome

Delightful visit exploring the gardens and the chateau. We were probably a little early in the garden season to see the full impact of some of the planting, but a wonderful experience nonetheless.

Diane de Poitier's former chateau heavily restyled in the 19thC, and interesting insight into the latter's wealthy owners. Also home to art installations, and with some impressive gardens.

Ein Traum von Blüten und Bienchen. Ich habe den Tag im Park und im Schloss genossen. Auch die aktuelle Ausstellung fande ich Großartig.

Interesting castle, although less impressive than other castles in the region. And a little more expensive. I enjoyed the art pieces and the gardens. There is a permanent contemporary art and landscape exposition.

Für uns das schönste Schloss an der Loire. Architektonisch zwar nicht so beeindruckend wie Chambord, dafür sind die Gärten umso faszinierender. Toller Ausblick, tolle Ausstellungen. Ein Besuch dort ist wirklich lohnenswert.

Visited here today for the 2nd time in a few years. The gardens are always interesting though this year I was underwhelmed hence the 4 stars. Didn't "do" the chateau as I have ticked that box before and the queues were astronomic! DON'T visit on a holiday weekend like me.

An amazing visit. I’d recommend allowing plenty of time or getting a two day ticket as you get four attractions for the price of one. The historic old chateau is interesting but also has a fascinating contemporary art exhibition. The garden festival is lovely and there are also the main gardens and sculpture park. That’s without trying the cafes or restaurant

We have visited the garden festival the times over the past 15 years of so and always found it a good day out. Some of the 30 or so gardens don't be to your taste, some will make you laugh, and others will give you inspiration. We were late in the season this year and some of the gardens were starting to look a bit tired but I think that is unavoidable.

Loved the visit of the castle. The information package given was very complete and let us visit at our pace while finding landmarks and curiosities on our own. The garden is also huge so I would say take a full day if you really want to have time for visiting every bit of the Domaine, you won't be disappointed 😉

If you like modern paired with an old Castle, then 19€ might be worth it. For me honestly it was rather disappinting. Some of the parcs were nice, other were not my cup of tea. A lot of other castles are definitely nicer and worth their entry fee, this one, in my opinion was not.

🧑‍🌾🌻⛲ Awesome day at the Gardens Festival. Each year, a new series of gardens to marvel adults and entertain (enough) the kids.

This has been our favorite chateau of the Loire Valley so far-a mix of history, modern art, and beautiful gardens! The festival gardens are different every year, so we’ve already gone back twice!

This is a stunning garden. There were dozens of garden artists from all corners of the earth that created some of the areas in this garden. You can enter by a combination ticket that is also valid or the chateau Chaumont which is also very remarkable. Barrier free access is guaranteed. Foods and drinks available. Parking is free.

The garden festival was fun and nicely laid out. I would have to say that the designs were somewhat simple and I have seen most of it in America. However, the chateau Chamont and the main gardens for this chateau were absolutely gorgeous. The garden festival is located on the chateau's property. As well, there was always restrooms, gift shops and food whenever you needed it. Also, the tour through The chateau was very nice. Large collection of tapestries, furniture, paintings. Very nice. The whole place was very enjoyable and I definitely would go back and recommend it to everyone.

superb and one of a kind - living history and future lab! There is a need to add topics like climate crises, invasive species, 6th period of mass extinction and food/nutrition security!

Beyond amazing, half a day of surprise, astonishment, wonders of peace and beauty. It's bigger than you think it is. I recommend, definitely. The castle 🏰 is around the corner but don't be too ambitious.

Surprising, big botanical exhibition with a theme. Environmentally friendly, original and aesthetically pleasing. Many great and practical gardening ideas, for small and bigger gardens.
