One of the great cathedrals of France set in a superb medieval town. Beautiful! Also, free parking close to the cathedral.

Amazing gem in that part of France. It was first built in the 8th century, and then the new cathedral was built between 1155 and 1235. More parts of the building were added in the following centuries to be seen in the present form. It was cold inside on a January day, but on a rainy day one can enjoy so much being inside.

Very pretty and nice town. Great history and old gothic cathedral. Kids games outside the cathedral to play for free, and some nice restaurants and cafés next to it. There are lots of little side streets to explore, and some really nicely decorated streets to walk down. We went on a Sunday, but most places were closed, so beware!

Beautiful rose window. Gothic cathedral built in the 12th century in a beautiful town. Well worth the visit as the town has a wonderful bakery as well as sweet small shops.

We visited the cathedrale notre Dame de Laon on 16th march 2023, it is one of the cathedrale of the holy road. There is more than 1 cathedrale in france (Reims, Paris...) and they all have a unique architecture. It is a very peaceful place.

Beautiful edifice of Catholic religion of exquisite workmanship, superb decorations surrounded by lovely architecture perched atop of a fairly steep hill.

Lovely cathedral in the old town a bit of an up hill hike but worth it.

Fabulous. Quite stark inside by comparison but totally stunning. Can be seen from a long way off and the whole town is beautiful and in- spoiled. A definite ' must-see' . We were also fortunate to hear the organ and the Sunday bells .

Very interesting structure. Fun to find all the animals on it. Towers unlike any I'd seen before. Definitely worth going inside. Tourist information right next door is good to look through.

Great cathedral to have a wander around. Lots to see, had fun spotting all the animal waterspouts on the outside of the building! Could perhaps have done with some more info in English but it was fine. Definitely worth looking round - it’s amazing how these things were built back then!

Amazing building, the architecture and stone work is incredible, to think it was completed over 700 years ago astounds me.
