Edit Was contacted by Patricia and had provided the proof that we stayed, then asking why I didn’t talk to the 1 desk clerk on departure about this (it was after 830 and the lobby was filled with people and I didn’t want to make a stink with my toddler present and impatient people wanting to check out) she asked how they can fix this. Then I never heard from them again. Re sent my messages twice and was ignored. Thanks for the thought I guess

This hotel is my favourite in town! It’s quiet, comfortable, very clean, and the staff are always lovely. I particularly like the rooms with the view of the forest behind, as there’s a nice window seat. The breakfast is simple and tasty, and there’s always coffee or hot water. There’s also plenty of parking if you’re coming up with a trailer and Tesla chargers too. I stay here regularly when visiting family, but they’ve also helped out in a pinch when a road trip didn’t go according to plan. I would highly recommend!

Awakened after midnight by person stomping upstairs, kept going for an hour. Thought they were fixing the roof due to recent rain. In the morning we heard a music box next door, which we surmised was an alarm clock. Fortunately, we were already up. Breakfast was cold cereal, toast, bagels and muffins along with coffee. No "rubber" eggs or sausage, which seems to be the norm elsewhere (where free breakfast is advertised). Room is much smaller than most. There is an armoire -- no closet, no fridge or microwave. There is a coffee maker, but it is unplugged and would have to be moved elsewhere, since there is no free outlet near it. The only free outlets required a bit of a search: they were on the wall under the night tables. There was one near the ceiling over the armoire and one near the bed, presumably for a vacuum. TV is small and shows only non-HD cable channels which have such poor reception that any lettering is barely legible. Very staticky. Not much selection and no program guide. Everything seems on the cheap side, except the prices.

The rooms are a good size, clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We found the beds a bit too firm for our liking.

This is a very nice budget hotel. There is easy access from the 401. It is a 5min. drive to the downtown core. McDonald's and Tim's are within EASY walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. I would stay here again, if I had business in the area again.

Overall this place was good. The location is prefect as it’s right off the highway and just a short 5 minute drive to downtown. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing for an early check-in. The place was very clean as was the room. The decor was a bit dated and nothing fancy, but all clean. The suite was comfortable with a queen bed, pullout sofa, microwave and fridge. There was a mounted TV which could have been placed in a better position for easier viewing from the bed. The TV was a little small. The place was quiet as well and the AC worked fine. The main issue was the uncomfortable mattress. Not the best night’s sleep. The mattress on the pullout sofa was even worse. One other minor issue was the absence of moisturizer in the bathroom. The towels were plentiful and lush, water pressure in the shower was perfect. Decent continental breakfast. Although a find place, not sure I would stay there again simply because of the uncomfortable bed.

Pulled in about 10:30 on a Tuesday night while trying to make it home. Too tired to keep going safely. They had just a couple of rooms left and chose not to over inflate their prices like many of the big chains do. The room was small, very clean and exactly what i needed to get some rest. Great blackout curtains and free coffee in the morning. Woke up early feeling rested, and still had some money left over. Would definitely stay here again. Great stay, thank you very much.

The only reason we can't give 5 stars is because the bed was very uncomfortable and my and my husband's back is killing us. The room was clean, water pressure in the shower was the best we have ever had. The staff at the front desk during all our interactions were lovely. Upon checkout when we mentioned the bed, they did say they are planning to replace mattresses soon. If they do, we would definitely stay again.

Tried hard to update an old hotel. I could hear my neighbors talking. The bathroom tub faucet wasn't fastened properly, I could spin both around. There were droplets on front of the toilet like the floor was not cleaned appropriately. The unexpectedly come into my room to make the bed whole I was out. Did not expect that. If they made the bed why couldn't they replenish the coffee. No recyclable plastic glasses only paper coffee cups. TV was had constant disruptive distortion so you couldn't watch a show without glitches. Breakfast on the other hand, was small but very efficient. One of the better breakfasts I have had.

room had a faint pet odor with stains on the carpet, spring mattress wasnt great, but has a nice mini fridge and microwave. its spacious with a built-in day bed, big couch, with a wardrobe and lots of storage. the staff are really great. Don't stay out too late or you'll miss out on parking.

Shari who took our reservation was awesome! Answered the phone in a very friendly voice, as I. Sure she was taught but not all do. Room was clean and comfortable, walls a little thin so you can hear noise from next door. The Inn is very easy to find especially if you are looking for a place to stay just off the highway. A little pricey but a good stay over all even if it was only one night.

Stayed in better, clean but signs of wear. Bathrooms renovated, small tv, no modern usb outlets. Lackluster breakfast but coffee good.

Great location. We stayed here one night on our way to our final destination. The room was clean. The bed wasn't overly comfortable but it wasn't bad. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Kaitlyn at the front desk deserves a raise and a promotion. Had a billing issue, she was very competent and professional. Helpful to the very end. Also, the hotel is clean, amenities were excellent, and the continental breakfast was fresh and satisfying. We will be staying there whenever we visit the Muskokas. 😎👍

👍👍 I spent the entire month of September 2022 at the Sunrise for my work, and had no complaints or issues. The rooms are small but quite functional, and are good, clean (and clean-smelling), comfortable and modern in décor and furnishings. The building itself is well-kept, built in late '50s or early '...
