Beautiful place. A bit touristy and pretty busy on Sunday, but it's local tourism so not hugely overpriced. A meal in one of the trout restaurants is a must if you enjoy eating eating fish. Dress warm - it's noticeably cooler up there than in Pasto!

Lots of boats to ready to take you on tours around the lake, the island. The experience is just special!! Love it so much!

Very beautiful and different. The house over the water and the river roads, makes of this place a scene out of a movie. There are so many restaurants to pick from, the problem is making a decision where to eat. You must have patience when driving in and out. The street was very congested and took a while to get in and out of El Muelle. If we weren't short of time, the boat trip would have been nice. I recommend wearing cold weather clothing. It was 15 degrees Celsius when we visited.

A magical place

It's like a Venice in the Andes. Super cold but cozy, amazing natural area, great food also. Acomodation is available there at very low costs.
