Best hummus around ( not joking), the chicken kebab platter is awesome and the whole charcoal grill chicken is one of the best deals on planet earth. The lebnae is also a family favorite. Catering service are amazing, just tell them how many people and they do the rest for a reasonable price. The most popular Lebanese food joint in the notoriously rich area of Paterson known for its Middle Eastern cuisine. I order the “Mix Mashawi (7)” which came with 9 Kofta Kebab, 4 Shish Kebab, 5 Chicken Kebab, & Beef Shawarma and served 7 people but really it was more than enough food for 1 dinner. Very authentic and delicious!

Yummy food - loved it. Was there last Friday. Ordered one large 6 people plater along-with extra items. We were 8 adults and it served very well. Baba Ganush and Huumus was freshly made. Masha-Allah first time getting food from here and I actually got it for Iftar and Alhumdulilah very tasty. Customer service was very great too as well. Very big portions as well and that’s a plus because a lot of places offer portions for certain amount of people and only will feed a few to be honest.

Excellent middle eastern food! Loved each n everything we ordered. Authentic taste n by far the best falafel. Bursting flavors.. Well the price point n quantity no can beat in the area. Must try!!! Love it will try again for sure. Removing one star as they don't give read hot sauce, every time they run out of it!!!

We used to live in the middle east and let me tell you; the Shawarma is spot on.. the best I had in a long time that’s 20+ years and counting. We also tried the platters and it was delicious. Family approved. You just won a long time Customer. Thank you very much! Highly recommended.

No doubt, they make excellent food. I always order their Hummus and mixed grills. The pita bread is soft, warm, and fluffy. It's their service and the rude attitude of their staff that makes you cringe. There is no smooth order tracking system. If you order anything, no one knows what's the status of your order. The servers go through every single order lying in three four different places to find out your exact order. Sometime, you stand there 15-20 minutes while your food is also sitting somewhere, but the staff has no system of knowing which customer is there for pick up and where is their food. 10/10 for food quality 0/10 for service.

The food at AL Basha is always fantastic! However, the last few times I placed a take out order, I've had missing items. I ordered several orders of hummus (best hummus ever!), but they shorted me a pack of Pita. Very disappointing. I ordered a side of Tahini and the container was only filled half way. I asked for hot sauce and they said it was in the bag. When I got home, there was no hot sauce to be found. Very frustrating.

Mediterranean food has always been my favorite, but Al-basha takes that love even further! Such amazing food & service. I love it so much so that for the department meeting I had for my team in Hoboken, I ordered it & everyone raved! They delivered all the way there & on time! I was looking for a halal restaurant with large platters for about a dozen people and this place met the mark. It’s a takeout only location and they run a smooth operation here. Both the food and service are great. I placed a very large order in the morning and they had it ready by my scheduled pick up time. Everything was hot and fresh, so it hadn’t been sitting out for a while. I ordered two two of the mix Mashawi platters (6-7) and another mix Mashawi (4) to be safe, and it ended up being so much food. The quantities are huge. Among a dozen adults and some kids, we only finished 1.5 platters. I definitely recommend Al Basha for any gatherings.

This is as close to the authenticity as you will get. Food is always fresh and of course, delicious. The bread (خبز) is absolutely amazing and freshly made on the premises, the grape leaves (ورق عنب) are made fresh, the lamb chops and kibbeh are delicious and always tender; the fresh lemonade with mint is an absolute must! While there is a dine-in restaurant down the road, this is a take out only establishment but it is well organized and has very good crowd control.

The mezze was amazing, but the chicken shawarma was a joke. How can they serve something so dry and old? A place with such a huge customer base serving old chicken is unacceptable. This is the 2nd time I get such bad quality chicken shawarma from this place. I’m gonna have to look for another place.

The beef shawarma was my favorite & I normally don’t get beef (chicken instead) I tried a bit off my mom’s sandwich & I’m not turning back, definitely getting beef shawarma next time. Seasoned so well & tastes great!. I also got their famous & delicious drink mint lemon slushy, it was so good as usual. To add, Moe helped us out while we were waiting on our order & gave us a small sample of their new lemonade drink; It was beyond what I expected it to taste like. 10/10 I think I’m changing my drink game now to the lemonade instead of the mint lemonade. Tastes just like it was from home when we used to get those kinds of drinks. Thank you Al Basha team !

I have been ordering from Al Basha for at least two years since I have moved to NJ. Mahmoud has been amazing, helpful and made my last few parties a success. The food is on point with flavor, the service from ordering to delivery in making my party a success . I highly recommend contacting Mahmoud if you are having a party small or big. You will not be disappointed!!!

Food was fine, but can't get past being charged an extra $1 for each 3oz sauce (everywhere else it's free), and this is what they give. Either give all 3oz or don't charge for this spoon drop.

The best middle east food!!! I really liked their sharing plate (bbq style) and all the dips they offer. Also, the pita bread is so soft and very tasty! Desserts are not that great as the main plates.

I ordered catering for my colleagues at school for a party of about 25 people. From start to finish the process was amazing. The price was great, the customer service was incredible and the food was delicious! My coworkers were talking about it for a week later and told me how delicious it was and asked if I would order from there again. We had so much food and not one thing went wrong. I highly recommend Al Basha for catering needs and can’t wait to order from there again!!

Not much has been updated here in relation to the restaurants growth over the last few years. This location has become strictly the take out only and catering location and one would think they were going to keep it old and run down as it had become with the wear and tear that naturally comes from a bustling place. Well they’ve renovated the whole inside to make it far more seamless coming in and out and more space for them to work as they are that if a juggernaut now with its tasty food and following.

Dine in is the best option at their other location, but if you do take out, it is still very good. Been coming here for many years when it was the dine in version. They upgraded the dine in location a few blocks away (which is awesome and, in my opinion, the best option in Paterson area!). Take out location very good still.

OK, if you've never experienced Mediterranean cuisine, this is where you should start. It is addictive. The meats are well but not overly seasoned. I'm not sure how they make the hummus but WOW! Equally as good are the pitas. Pillow soft and always warm. This is a MUST visit.

Unreal experience. I just ordered for the first time in a few years (because I moved). I was excited to order it again while back in the area. Highly impressed with their food quality. Even as they grow so rapidly, they haven’t lost their touch. Their Hummus is the best in North Jersey. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This place is so classic and I'm a little sad we can dune in here anymore and we have to go to the new spot. I like the old original feel of here and the memories I have here. On to the food, it's all delicious! They never disappoint. There are too many things to talk about but my all time favorite is the hummus. I will literally just order that. If I'm going to meet with friends or having people over, I'm definitely ordering some. It's just delicious and the bread is fresh and good that it comes with, but I like to eat cucumbers with mine. Their mint lemonade is an experience all on its own. It is fresh so it does have a little kick to it but it's good. The customer service here is great and they are all really nice. I have a few organizations that I am on the board of and when we have events we have Al Basha caterer it and everyone always enjoys the food. Great job guys!

Best take out food in New jeresy!! If you love great food then I suggest you try Al Basha! I ordered the mix for 4 and good the mezza appetizer. Oh and don’t forget to get the best mint lemonade I’ve had in a while. I’ve been here a bunch of times and they have been very consistent with their food taste.

The yummiest falafel and hummus you can find anywhere in the US, tastes exactly like back home. Super fresh ingredients, and served super hot. They bake their bread in house daily what makes the cut for me. Staff are super nice and welcoming too! Love this place 🤤
