This family-owned and truly home cooked food has a reputation that precedes it. The lovely lady who owns and operates this small and inconspicuous looking restaurant took over the cooking duties from her late chef husband. They have intentionally kept the scale as is so as to focus on homemade Turkish dishes to appease to its loyal customers who swear by the traditional focus on Turkish comfort foods made at home. Everything is made to order (with the exception of the desserts) and freshly made daily. There is no menu as the dishes vary daily and so the dishes are displayed on the TV monitor. I enjoyed the dishes that were served to me on this particular day. The grilled meats were succulent and moist and grilled to perfection. The beef and potato stew was fork-tender and seasoned well. Chicken and noodle soup was hearty and called for on the snow day I was there. Baklava with pistachios and ice cream was delicate, flaky and was drenched in light honey.

Best restaurant in the Jersey area. You should try their yummy home made dishes. They also have best kebabs and doner. My favorite appetizer is home made Turkish Yogurt 👌🏻 Healthy food, Keto friendly and prices are cheap. Strongly recommend!

The food and service were amazing. I have never experienced such a tasty food for long time. I felt like I was at my mum’s kitchen. Special thanks to Chef Hulya who is the owner of this cute restaurant.

The best Turkish homemade food for the best prices I could find anywhere. Julia is so good at what she does that I feel like I’m back home every time I go there. Excellent service and excellent staff. Would recommend to anyone.

I came here based on the recommendations. As they all say, the baklava and the owner were spectacular! Both were sweet, as they should be. She treated us like we were our children. Nothing bad could ever be said about this place.

Small place with truly homemade food. The owner is a lovely woman who does her own cooking. Four of us had delicious lentil soup, salad, bread, rice, and 3 dishes shared family style for just under $20 a person.

This is a very small (3 tables) restaurant owned by a woman who does it all herself and the food is always delicious. We try to go once a week.

This is the best place for home cook Turkish food that is very authentic. It is run by a very nice "abla" :) I woupd highly recommend lezzet to everyone. By the way their kofte is the best in town.

The service was friendly and accommodating and our food was excellent. I especially liked the chicken soup I had for a starter. My brother ordered the mixed grill and gave me a bite of his lamb to try. I ordinarily don't care for lamb but this was so flavorful and tender....the chicken kabobs were delicious as well.

A GEM in Paterson NJ... If you are looking for an authentic delicious Turkish home-cooking, this is it. The best tasting Adana Kebab, Kofte & Ezogelin soup in my life so far. They also have mercimek soup, mousaka, kelle paca soup!!! A must visit whenever you're in New York area.

A wonderful establishment, and a truly delicious meal. The proprietress/chef makes each day's dishes to order. When I visited for lunch, she explained to me that the superb dumpling soup I ordered was prepared from a recipe that was 1,200 years old! Every bite satisfied, and I can't recommend this place enought!
