Luca and his team were amazing. I can see why they have consistently gotten good reviews. I arrived during the low season to upgrade my scuba diver license to open water. Luca was kind, supportive, very knowledgeable and managed to get us some wonderful dives. Him and his team clearly have a passion for diving and you wont regret booking your dives with him :)

Absolutely loved my day fun diving in two sites around Ao Nang local islands with these guys. I didn’t have any expectations as it is off season but there was such a diversity and abundance of marine life. The whole crew was incredibly friendly and made you feel so comfortable and welcome and my dive master Tash was amazing! Tasty lunch provided after the two dives and lots of cold water throughout. Highly recommend booking with Sea Gypsy!

I walked in the shop completely new to diving. Picked Sea gypsy bc of the good reviews and am happy to add another 5 stars! Some days later I became certified open water! Had a few wonderful dives with the instructor Vincent from the Gypsy Divers team. One of my best diving instructors so far! Every time it was a very professional dive with calm instructions and good briefings and I got all the attention and time that I needed to setup and prepare for each dive. All team members were very friendly and interested in the customers on the boat. The equipment was fitting very well and the pickup from the hotel was always very convenient. The boat time was very pleasant as we were very well catered for and briefed. Plus we had the luck so see a few turtles, cuttlefish and a huge amount of beautiful fish! Can highly recommend this dive center!

I had a fantastic time doing my Open Water with Sea Gypsy divers. These guys are super professional, friendly and fun. Communication was great from the start and throughout the 3 days. Our instructor, Jai was an awesome guy who has a good balance of professionalism and fun. I felt safe and prepared at all stages of the course and can’t wait to do more dives! These guys are amazing! Friendly, professional, dedicated, passionate about Krabi and all the islands around. I went diving with Sea Gypsy Divers on several occasions, exploring Koh Phi Phi, Koh Bida and the local islands in front of Ao Nang. They were great before the pandemic, and now I found out they are still amazing, the service is the same, only the diving sites are better, healthier and not crowded at all. Gianluca is a very experienced guide and instructor. I can’t recommend Sea Gypsy enough.

Believe the hype!! These guys are the best. Like most other reviewers, we were initially drawn to Sea Gypsy Divers based on their 5-Star reviews. We are happy to say that we had another 5-Star experience after completing our PADI Open Water course with them. Andrea, Dennis, and Petra were phenomenal. They treated us great. The logistics were flawless. Everything was incredibly simple. We had a couple of issues come up but Andrea took care of us and made sure we were able to complete the course. The staff are a wealth of knowledge, they're very understanding, reassuring, and great with kids. They're a smaller dive shop but I think that's why they excel. It's a very personal experience. I had the best experience with Luca during my Open Water Diver course. Nobody signed up for the same time as I did so we did a private pool session and they go on the boat with 4 people max so that everybody has a good time. Dive sites are good for beginners around Krabi. Totally recommend and would do it all over again!

We had an amazing dive day with these guys in Phi Phi. I was diving with Andrea and he is an amazing instructor to have with you. We dived Maya Corner and viking corner, the two sites were amazing with good visibility loads of beautiful soft corals and the usual reef inhabitants. We also saw a couple of sharks, nudibranch and sting ray Ohh the food at lunch on the boat was rally tasty specially when I told him last min that I have vegetarians with me he made sure he got some food for them from home and there was plenty of soft drinks / water to keep us hydrated. I look forward to coming back and diving with them.

Our adventure with the Sea Gypsy Divers, where we completed our PADI Open Water Diver course, was nothing short of phenomenal. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly supported by the comprehensive information and personal attention from manager Andrea. He provided us the opportunity to take the course in our language with an amazing instructor, Dennis. With Dennis, we not only had a tremendous amount of fun but also made quick progress and enjoyed four breathtaking dives around Ko Phi Phi. Dennis taught us safety in an engaging way and always kept the atmosphere light and fun. I want to give a special shoutout to Andrea: After the course, I experienced a health concern with my lung. Andrea didn't hesitate to take me to the hospital and managed the entire process and logistics there. His dedication went far beyond what I had expected, and thanks to his help, it turned out that everything was fine. This exceptional commitment to the safety and well-being of his guests shows how seriously the Sea Gypsy team takes their job, all while maintaining a relaxed and easygoing demeanor. A huge thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and humanity. We can't wait to come back! You have our highest recommendation!

Brilliant little dive centre working hard to provide personal service. I had an excellent time with sea Gypsy. Lunch was delicious and equipment was top notch.

All in it was a great day and if I was staying any longer would certainly not hesitate to go again with this team.

After a visit to the sea gypsy divers shop, I didn't get just a wonderful experience under the water, I gained a friend too! Luca is very professional and puts safety on the first place at all times and he explains everything very clear. I cannot recommend this shop more. The difference between this shop and others is that they don't do big groups. They go small groups so you can get the best training. Thank you for the great day and diving experience!

These guys are great! Just our type of dive. We don’t like the large touristy dive boats with 20 divers and chaos. These guys are relaxed, professional, friendly and genuinely happy to show you their world under the waves. And the snacks and lunch were soooo tasty. Grazie Andrea!

I didn't dive but had the best welcoming with the Italian guy at the shop, when I got in to seek information. He didn't try to sell his stuff (like all the other diving centers) but took a lot of time to kindly provide me information and advise me not to dive here since the visibility wasn't very good at the moment, and since the seabed and fishes would be quite similar to what I saw in my last dive in Phi Phi Islands. Thus, no diving for me but really good feeling with those guys, that's why I'm reviewing!

10/10 experience with Sea Gypsy Divers. They are a humble and sincere family owned dive shop that cares more about your safety and experience than anything else. I went here to complete my 4 open water dives and Luca made all of my underwater dreams come true! I felt safe and supported and most of all.. i had FUN and saw so many things. I came in nervous and scared but came out with so many memories and lasting friendships. I would recommend Sea Gypsy to everyone!! HI LUCA!! :)

Had the best dive experience with Sea Gypsy Divers! They really made an effort to ensure that we got a good a experience. They took time to explain to us the area we were going to dive in, as well as the the different fish and sea animals we should keep a look out for. When it came time to dive, we also went in small groups with the people we came with and one instructor, so we could actually go at our pace, and to the depth we felt most comfortable with. I would really recommend choosing them for diving, you won’t regret it!

We had a tour with Luca, who took us to multiple dive spots so we could obtain our open water license. The training was great! We felt safe, in control and both me and my buddy were coached through in an incredibly professional manner. I would have not problem recommending this business. Absolutely great experience! It was my first time diving, so instead of automatically taking a course, I decided to do a one day, two dive discovery trip. Juanita, my guide, carefully explained to me beforehand the basic skills and was wonderful, even when I was not too quick to catch certain aspects. While we were diving, I felt in complete security which permitted me to be in complete awe of what I was seeing and experiencing! I highly recommend!
