I fantasized about an authentic Indian restaurant that would be simple, friendly, with pure-veg selections, clean, delicious food, and a friendly environment. I must declare I finally found my new favorite Indian restaurant in Karma. Perched on the way to prahtamnak hill, a stone's throw away from walking street, I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. The owner is a super friendly and welcoming feller, and the staff is efficient and attentive. It's so apparent that they are doing a great job and making sure your dining experience is perfect. The food itself was delicious, cooked to perfection, and very generous—no bells and whistles, just delicious Indian food. The large crowd of happy and friendly Indian clientele filled the restaurant was the best sign that Karma Indian Restaurant is loved by diners who can spot an authentic place. I plan to come back frequently and taste the rest of the mouthwatering dishes on the menu. Tip of the hat!

Great staff. The boss knows his stuff. Very sociable and knowledgeable guy. I asked him to choose my dish and it was amazing. No idea what it was but right up my street. The Mrs ordered a lamb dish but was a bit disappointed with the amount of bones. Mentioned it to the boss - boom! Straight into the kitchen and came back with another helping with no bones. Both dishes were delicious. We ordered two glasses of wine. Unfortunately there wasn't enough left in the bottle for two glasses so I got my 3/4 glass for free. Two main courses, one rice and one naan was more than enough for two of us. Unfortunately I was too full for cake from their new bakery section, which also looked amazing. All in all, a great dining experience. Boo-ya!

My husband and I just ate here and we absolutely loved everything. We highly recommend coming here! The owner is so welcoming, kind and friendly. The food was delicious, very flavourful! The daal curry was so rich and creamy! The naan was cooked perfectly! The restaurant atmosphere was clean and wonderful! Best Indian food we had in Pattaya! We’ll be coming back again before we leave the country!

I went with my wife here. On very first sight on this restaurant I felt this would be very expensive one and may not be offering delicious food as we get in India (South especially). But, once I stepped in it's completely other side of my thoughts !! The name and quotes they wrote inside attracted me and the interior also so pleasant and beautiful. Welcoming and friendly staff. The moment I stepped inside I heard a famous Telugu song running it made me to feel like I am in a Andhra Restaurant. They were playing all Telugu love songs, I enquired the owner do they are Telugu people from South India, but they are Punjabi and a worker is Burmese who love Telugu songs 😊. She even learn 2 Telugu songs ! I saw most of the foreigners and also north Indian people enjoying Telugu songs much.. I went at almost 1.30am at midnight here, I expected dosa here but it's not the time for it so I ordered veg dum biryani... It was very tasty with little spicy, I enjoyed eating it. (No comparison with Hyderabad dum biryani !!) We can't find the taste of Andhra Biryani else where out of South India and in any other country which has South Indian restaurants. This is what I came to know after much experience by travelling. I could expect liquid gravy along with biryani here which is must included in South India but never find offering this gravy in other Indian restaurants out of country. I recommend everyone to go this restaurant and try as many dishes you can...their menu is also too good to explore. And this is the only place I found name board in Telugu, Tamil and kannada languages !!! (Please correct the Telugu script if possible, it's not correct 🙂. దక్షిణ భారత ఆహారం )

Excellent food! I must say I was super impressed with the food quality and quantity both. Most authentic taste right from india. If you are around the area a must try for the authentic Indian food! Very humble owner and has a very nice eye on what his customers are looking for. He has a vegetarian restaurant too in case one is a hardcore vegetarian.

Loved the food at Karma. We ordered sweet corn soup, Veg deluxe thali, nargis Kofta subzi, laccha paratha, cheese naan, and hakka noodles along with some beverages. Everything was gobsmacking and delicious. A must try place for Indian food.

Went to this place because of the amazing reviews and it 100% lived up to the hype. The owner is insanely nice and took the time to explain the variation of sauces put on our table and how they vary in taste based on the region of India. Definitely some of the best Indian food I have ever had and the portion sizes are really big. Will definitely come back next time I am in Pattaya. If you love Indian food, this is the place for you.

Easily the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time (forever?). As others have said, the owner is very engaging and friendly, giving lots of guidance on food options and flavour. There were 4 of us eating and we got 12 pcs non-veg platter, butter chicken, afghan chicken, a chili mushroom dish, a cauliflower dish, naan and biryani rice… everything was awesome, with the butter chicken as the star of the show (we were ready to lick the bow). Will tell my work mates to come here and will visit on my next trip.

This restaurant was a saviour when I wanted pure Indian taste. The owner is of very kind nature and helped in suggesting the dish I should order. I tried mashroom tikka roll, it was delicious. I liked the taste so much that I visited two days in a row. The cost is quite reasonable as well. It is located just 10 minutes of walking distance from "walking street".

A nice place to go out for dinner, though you should know the cuisine in advance. It was my first time in an Indian restaurant, so it was a challenge to choose a dish. A very sweet girl (from Myanmar, if I'm not mistaken) works there as a waitress. She's ready to talk and recommend you something according to your taste. Excellent Indian restaurant with great staff and attentive service. I came two days in a row to taste their delicious Chicken Tikka Massala and their Butter chicken. Owner was there and took great care of the customers. Warm atmosphere, nice indian music at a perfect volume. Give it a try. I'm very happy I stopped by and I will be back next time I'm in Pattaya!
