Out table for 16 was very well laid out. We enjoyed both veg & non veg options - starters to deserts. Coconut ice cream, green apple juice was the best I liked. MAY's Urban Thai Dine is nice and cozy place located in Pattaya city close to Jomtien beach. They have lot of Thai dishes to choose from and mostly sea food. The food was good and nicely arranged. i came here for the vegetarian / vegan menu and it was totally worth it. i had the pomelo salad and MAY curry and it was delicious. together with a watermelon shake i paid around 550 THB. more expensive compared to other places but the services was great and the restaurant is very nicely decorated. you get an little complimentary starter. also as a vegetarian you don’t have many other options in Pattaya really. WiFi didn’t work when i went there. I think it would be good to have a lunch time special, the curry and pomelo salad were too much for one person.

In the 90s it was such a popular item these day it seems to fall out of the menu. At May’s it was so well presented and so nicely made. There were four bite size pieces. It tasted so good so I did not norther with the sweet soy sauce dip that came with it. We also ordered 3-kind of curries with shrimp, chicken and sea bass. My favorite was sea bass curry slightly sweet but just delicious. Green chicken curry was average just lack of sweetness that it should. The shrimp curry was was also very good. We also ordered Padthai which very unusually and did not taste like padthai to me. It didn’t have the tangy taste of tamarind and lack of preserved turnip and dry tofu which usually give the character of padthai. This dish just taste like a not so good pad se-ewe, very disappointing. May’s Pattaya is our base for dinner (a short grab ride from the Intercontinental Pattaya where we were staying). Most dishes we ordered were successful over the two days. Of particular mention was the May’s curry and the fish curry which were bursting with flavour and wonderful aroma from the liberal herbs used. The crab cake was memorable and so did the desserts (the pancakes and mango sticky rice were crazily good). The pandan leaf chicken was ok, and perhaps due to the curries we ordered, the tom kha gai paled in comparison and did not contrast well. Still, May’s Pattaya is an excellent find and we will be here again for our next holiday. We also had the opportunity to chat with the owner on the second night. Totally memorable experience!

We had bday dinner here. Restaurant staff and owner were very accommodating to our cakes and balloons and have added their own flowers prop!! Yummy Thai food! Pomela salad was extra yummy.
