Nice place where they usually have various cultural activities take place. There are numerous halls and Hall 1 and Hall 2 are accessible via Mall Road. The place deserves renovation and also more parking spaces need to be made available.

Last year, I had the opportunity to attend an event at Al Hamra Art Complex, and it was a truly positive experience. The venue is strategically located and renowned for hosting a diverse range of events, including corporate conferences and cultural festivals. In particular, I attended the TEDx event organized under the umbrella of Apex Group of Colleges in 2022. The event was a remarkable experience as it featured esteemed personalities like Saleem Ghori, Founder & CEO of Net Sol Technologies; Iftikhar Iffi, a renowned writer and actor; Mazhar Hussain Siddiqui, CEO & Chairman of Stylo; and Sam Dada, entrepreneur and a talented fashion designer. Each of these individuals shared their insights and wisdom, making the event truly inspirational. Moreover, I had the privilege of listening to the addresses of esteemed members, including Rana Adeel Mumtaz, CEO of Apex Group, and Tahir Khursheed Tahir, the Marketing Director. They shared their remarkable success stories and journey, leaving a profound impact on the audience. The hall where the event took place was awe-inspiring, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The organizers ensured that every aspect, from the seating arrangement to the lighting and sound system, was top-notch, contributing to an unforgettable experience. Attending the event at Al Hamra Art Complex was not only intellectually stimulating but also a great opportunity to network and connect with like-minded individuals. The positive energy and enthusiasm of the audience added to the overall ambiance, making it a memorable occasion. I am grateful for the experience and commend the organizers for their efforts in creating such a remarkable event at Al Hamra Art Complex Hall No. 1.

This place needs serious attention. All halls needs repair and maintenance ASAP.. seats are broken with very small leg space. Mosquitoes inside the hall. Plus cars were moving in and out freely.

It has a classic architecture designed by famous architect Nayyar Dada. There are some regular stage plays being held and anybody can watch by paying for ticket. There are books exhibition, arts & crafts exhibition and cultural shows being held. It has spacious gardens and halls.

The place was neat and clean but the auditorium was small and the Seats weren't very comfortable to sit for over then 2 hours. The parking arrangement for bike was alright but not too good. The guards and staff members however were super cooperative. So all in all i enjoyed my time there.

I have been to Alhamra many times, first being 2009. The complex has an artistic vibe. As art as no boundaries, so it keeps on hosting all type of events. From Punjabi Musical theater to serious Urdu Plays. From Qawali’s to Mailad and Islamic conferences. Once you enter the complex, you sometimes, have choice what you want to see. In current time, there are a lot of amateur groups performing comedy and drama plays with free entry. I have been to a lot of those and people are usually very good at their work. We need to encourage community of performing artists so that this form of entertainment is revived in Pakistan. If you ever plan to visit Lahore, do check if there is anything playing at Alhamra, and check it out.

Amazing and good experience to go there. Buildings were huge and red bricks give them a good look and feel. The moment I entered the art gallery, I was amazed after seeing the art work there. I felt more proud about my nation that it is very talented and smart. Moreover canteen was neat and clean. No higher prices for each good. Everywhere tiles and greenary. Sitting arrangements and lighting was good. Love to visit and want to go there more times. Thanks

A clean, green and serene place in the middle of the city. Truly grand at scale that can’t be imagined from its photos/videos. Easy to reach from JLN metro station(the nearest), there are absolutely no prearrangements required. Ajoka's great day...

I recently attended an event at Al Hamra Art Complex and overall, I had a positive experience. The venue has a great location and is well-known for hosting a variety of events, from corporate conferences to weddings and cultural festivals. One of the highlights of Al Hamra Art Complex is its family-oriented atmosphere. The venue is very spacious and has multiple halls to accommodate large groups of people. This makes it an ideal place to hold family events, such as weddings or birthday parties. There are also plenty of amenities on site, including a cafe, ample parking, and clean restrooms. However, I did notice that some of the halls were in need of repair. The decor and furnishings were a bit outdated, and some of the flooring and walls could use a fresh coat of paint. This did not significantly impact my overall experience, but it is worth noting for those who may be looking for a more modern and updated event space. Despite this, I would still recommend Al Hamra Art Complex for anyone looking to host an event in the area. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the venue itself has a lot of character and charm. It is clear that a lot of effort is put into maintaining the space, and the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities is impressive. Overall, I had a great time at Al Hamra Art Complex and would definitely consider returning in the future. Whether you are looking to host a large family event or a corporate gathering, this venue has a lot to offer and is well worth checking out

Mesmerising experience to attend evening program of such a living legend "Zia Mohyudin Sir". More than a gem of Pakistan's story telling industry and the way he presented the letters of Faiz was really amazing. Our presence in such a big company of poets including AmjaD Islam Amjad, Yasmeen Hameed and others was a unique experience which I never had before. Indian poets potreyd the grief of divide was really impressive and genuine. Other poets also presented their thoughts in such an amazing way. Attending such an artistic night with the audience which has a sense of art and heart to appreciate others is really once in a lifetime exposure. Lahore has an essence of art and fun in its air. So watching the best poets and such events in Lahore is what no one should miss it. Imagining Faiz, Habib Jalib Parveen Shakir, Amanat Chan, Qawi Ahmad, Sohail Ahmad, and others on the stage of Alhamra Hall and conceptualising their era is what which takes you in a vibe of great history of Pakistani Art. With such a glorious history of love and revolution takes Alhamra to a unique place which none other place can achieve. This is the experience which forces us to say "Lahore..! Lahore ay🙂❤️

Located in the heart of Lahore, Alhamra stands as a symbol of cultural enlightenment in Pakistan's famous cultural capital. Derived from the Arabic word meaning "a woman in red clothes", al-Hamra pays tribute to her origins in the Royal Enclave of Cordoba, Spain, where magnificent palaces and structures decorated with red brick captivated the imagination. This visionary concept of architectural excellence for the Arts Council was revived by the intelligent mind of our esteemed architect, Mr. Nye.

These were one of the best theatre halls years ago but unfortunately no one has taken care of these theatres. No maintenance at all. Seats are broken, carpet is so dirty and worn out. They used to have very nice sound system. Everything is destroyed now. However comedy show was nice. Artists performed very well. Good entertaining experience as always.
