Fantastic French restaurant with also Spanish and American cuisine influence, tasty food perfectly cooked, super friendly and attentive service and also not too pricey considering the area, the outdoor seating has a chill ambience, can't wait to come back!

Very welcoming, friendly and charming place. Appetizers are fantastic, lots of love, knowledge and skills make them special. The 4 entrees our party of four enjoyed were fine. Nothing I couldn’t find anywhere else, unlike the appetizers. So my personal recommendation would be to go crazy on apps and skip mains.

Drink: Dark “N” Stormy Smoky and sweet, subtlety strong that knocks you on your feet. Starter: Roasted Cauliflower Cooked to perfection, cauliflower can have a surprising meatiness to it, looking at you my Vegan/Vegetarian friends. Make sure to lather the cauliflower crown with the bed of earthy tomato sauce and chimichurri cilantro salsa mixture to give it its full effect. Entree: Truffle Summer Pasta FYI: I had to get it GF for my Celiac belly. Usually it’s served with fusilli pasta but they were serving conchiglie (think conch shells). These were undercooked or rather way too Al dente. Cooking GF pasta takes patience, skill, and understanding. I don’t take away the excellence of the chefs but GF cooking isn’t always for everyone. Dessert: Red Berry Pavlova Sweet, berry, custardy, and zesty. Wow, what a fusion of flavors and textures that send your mouth on a ride of magical pleasure. The server suggested it and I’m grateful she was so spot on. This is made for two or three to share. It’s so rich that it settles pretty heavy after an already hearty meal. I am ashamed to say that I couldn’t finish it, maybe it’s just me, but I could have used a couple of extra mouths to tackle this heap of delectableness. *sigh* ***Forewarning*** Semilla includes tip in the final bill. This is typical of Europe and the chefs, staff, and owner being French they have integrated this into their billing. I actually don’t have a problem with it but was indeed surprised only because we are not accustomed to that in the states. Just keep an eye out for it. Unless you want to tip even more than the 20% gratuity included then go for it! That doesn’t take away from Meryline, my server, she moved nonstop and didn’t skip a beat. Ambiance: Music is a bit on the louder side but boasts a very sociable clientele who all seem to be regulars. French dominate this space, almost every table I walked passed were speaking French. The decor is cozy and minimilast.

This is definitely one of the top French eateries I have tried outside of France. Everything is fresh, made to order, and their bar doubles as an open kitchen. The service was impeccable, the drinks are delicious. The menu is eclectic, and prices are reasonable. Their attention to detail is noteworthy (if you make a reservation, they will even print a card with your name on the table). The $1 oysters on Wednesdays, and an impressive happy hour M-F from 5 to 7pm is worth visiting alone. They are kid and dog friendly. I will definitely return!

Great food, great atmosphere and great service! We went it right at the end of happy hour and they were happy to attend us. Ordered a few plates from happy hour and then ordered actual entrees. Drinks were on point and staff was very attentive! Ordered oysters ($1 on Wednesday all day), calamari, croquetas, tuna tacos (delicious!) and two entrees. Will definitely be back and for sure recommend !

The owner and employees are very welcoming. The food is made to order with great flavors. The bar has a very nice selection of wine and liquors even a good selection of tequilas. The desserts are delicious highly recommend chocolate mousse. Great local restaurant to escape to for couple hours.

This was one of the best dining experiences our family has ever had! The food was absolutely amazing, from the escargot in bone marrow, duck confit to the mussels— it was all phenomenal! The staff was beyond attentive and the bartender makes killer margaritas! Compliments to the chef!!!

The food was amazing. But the service was poor. Only one server for 6 tables and more. No one explain the menu or if they have any specials. It was very disappointing on that matter. Besides that! The food taste amazing. Hopefully they will hire more server.

Semilla is always fantastic. They are also a great place to go for gluten free food (my partner is celiac). The staff is fantastic, food is delicious, and all in a great venue. A definite must-go if you're in the area.

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurant is Semilla, Chef Fredric Joulin choices of food are great, it is always consistent, pricing is right, not outrageous Miami Beach pricing, their Happy Hour is great, with actual food from the menu and not cheap choices, really great, Laetitia helped us, very attentive and lovely, she is one of the owners, really great service, I will see you soon 🥰 We enjoyed oysters, Mini Tuna Tacos, Potatoes & Cheese Croquetas, Calamari and Chicken/Veggie Potstickers, all very tasty and even better with Prosecco 🥂@semillamiami For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites

Wow, this place was delicious! And yes, FRENCH! The staff all spoke French (I was too afraid to try) and were super friendly. We had the salmon and the risotto which were tasty and then the pavlova for dessert. It was all yummy but not mouthwatering (referring to the other salmon I ate in Miami).

Excellent experience for my first visit: great seating, nice set up, food excellent from appetizer to desert. Pricing very reasonable. Atmosphere is great- We could maybe have expected some more tlc as far as service but nothing major. For french food experience: highly recommended Ile flottante ( dessert) was delicious. Will definitely go back. Bravo!

The BEST place I've been to in Miami beach, amazing happy hour, calamari was fresh and delicious, red berry paplova desert was so yummy... Our waiter was amazing, highly recommend! I could go on and on on how much we enjoyed our visit.

Good service, amazing food. Very good portion, we had difficulty finishing our plate. I had the boeuf bourguignons and my husband the honey mustard lamb. My 5 1/2 years old had the pasta. Great experience. I recommend.

Happy hour at Semilla was so much fun. We had dollar oysters ($1 on Wednesday's), truffle pasta, wagyu beef sliders, and sheperds pie. Everything was delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Will be back to try regular food menu.

We absolutely LOVED Semilla! Amazing food and service! I ordered the Truffle Parmesan Pasta and it was so delicious!! From beginning to end, the service was perfect and each person that took care of us was so nice. Very authentic and French from the food to the people that work there. The place was also super cute, we sat by the wine bar and loved It. It was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday as they put a pretty sparkler candle on the dessert for the birthday girl! Will definitely be back!

Unassuming, solid restaurant with a casual vibe. Ordered the charcuterie and cheese plate which was big enough to feed 4 people but there were only 2 of us. And then we had mussels, a side of fries and broccoli. All were large portions and excellently cooked!

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!!
