Enjoyed the afternoon at the museum. The exhibit was Hollywood Backdrops. It was interesting to see the actual films playing next to each canvas. The upstairs remains the same. Overall it was a great experience.

I wish I got here earlier. Got here 45 minutes before they closed and I saw as much as I could. But I will definitely go back. Free for college students so that’s a plus. They have two floors of art with a permanent exhibition. They also have a Kehinde Wiley which is always impressive to me. Right in the heart of Mizner Park so after you enjoy the museum, you can grab a bite or go shopping. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful and fairly well planned out for spacing. Loved and would recommend the audio tour, tho the written descriptions were good. Wish they did require masks because about half had no masks and were oblivious to social distancing. That made it somewhat uncomfortable at times...that's why I only put 4 stars.

Small but impactful art collection. Visited for the illusions exhibit, it was very well done with multimedia aspects. I wish there were more thorough descriptions on some of the modern pieces upstairs in the last section, but other spots had solid descriptions that helped with interpreting the pieces. Friendly employees and a lovely gift shop. They offer a paper map to help with navigating the space if needed. For parking, there are ample spaces in the mizner garages. The garages are free, though they’re a small walk from the museum. Don’t miss the outdoor sculpture garden, it’s got some really cool pieces!

The museum has very good exhibitions. Overall the museum is on the smaller size but has good collections. A fun exhibition presently into August 2022 is on Hollywood movie backdrops. Fun to see, fun to put yourself in the scenes, and fun to recall the movies you thought were filmed on location.

During my time at the museum, I was able to take part in the Machu Picchu exhibit and it was fabulous 🤩. The exhibition was a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. The Virtual Reality add-on was definitely worth it! I really felt as if I were taking a flight over Machu Picchu! The VR experience features a moving chair, smell dispensar and motion-enhancing speakers! I plan to bring friends to come back and visit the exhibit and definitely the Virtual Reality. Great place for you to bring your family for an afternoon.

Came to this museum today. Very nice display of art and sculptures. It was definitely worth the trip. Not very big but easily can spend an hour or two looking and reading about everything. The price is fair for what it is. I got lucky because it was free for the whole month of July.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is a great two-story museum located in Mizner Park. This Museum houses a large variety of work. Upstairs houses the permanent collection (including African art), and the downstairs are the temporary/traveling exhibits. I visited the Boca Raton Museum of Art for the second time in July 2018. Admission was free for the entire month thanks to PNC Bank. The two main exhibits were tapestry/carpet and a large collection of Lisette Model's photography. When you arrive, I recommend finding out when the free one-hour guided tours are offered. We did this and enjoyed the information that the guide shared. I don't live far from the Boca Raton Museum of Art, but I always forget it's there. I want to get in the habit of checking their website regularly to see what the traveling exhibits are. I definitely want to visit this museum more often.

For a local museum, the collections are intriguing and thoughtfully curated. When we visited, there were incredible works of glass and mixed assembly pieces, with a wonderful mix of oil and watercolor paintings. Stop by for an hour or so and roam around. Don't miss the red mangrove trees reproduced from 85,000 crystals!

This is a distinguished museum with a wonderful collection. Not only does it have paintings but also sculptures, decorative arts, furniture, textiles, costumes, drawings, pastels, watercolors, collages, prints, artist's books, photographs, and installation art. You can get free entry on select days. Check out their website for more on that. There is also a lot of options to eat and shop nearby, so you can make it a fun day out.

It has an interesting mix of Modern Art and multiple art forms are present. Able to get through in about an hour and it does have a gift shop which showcases some art. Was nice but not extensive and the lack of a snack bar or food available for purchase was a mild detraction but overall for the cost it was worth the money

The Cultural Heart of Boca Raton! This is a fabulous museum! Free parking in the garage right there in Mizner across the street. The Boca Raton Museum of Art is located in the Mizner Park area of Boca. There are several upscale restaurants and retail shops within walking distance.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is a beautiful place with rotating curated art exhibitions and scheduled live events. A perfect place for relaxation, children, family outings or individuals seeking visual stimulation via internationally displayed fine art, antiquarian books, oil paintings, photography and modern hand craftsmanship. Awesome individual and family membership options as well.

Didn't had much expectations but once we entered here everything changed. The second floor with the permanent collection is refreshing and great. Lots of paintings and pictures that will catch the eye and deserve all your attention. It was also a memorable visit also due to the museum store: it had nothing to do with the museum, they transformed themselfes in a display for some local artist. Quite a business 🤪😎🥂

This was an excellent small museum. I visited during the Smoke and Mirrors exhibit and it was great. Very informative as well as parts that are interactive. Their collection on the second floor has wonderful artwork from early civilization to modern. We were very pleased with our visit.

The museum’s normal exhibits were closed, only the Machu Picchu exhibit was open. The line for the virtual reality experience grows quickly and the wait can be over an hour, so I recommend trying to do that first, and walking through the exhibit after as there is no line for that. Groups of 14 are admitted every 15-20 minutes to the VR, so be prepared to wait.

We visited the museum multiple times and were surprised by the quality of their exhibits. This time, we went for the Machu Pichu exhibit. Multiple artifacts are on display with very good descriptions about how the Incas lived. Worth seeing, especially if you have not visited the region.

Went there on a rainy day with our 3 and 6 yr old girls. The staff was very friendly but the exhibits weren't very kids friendly. We didn't take a guide or anything like that so our brief tour was very fast. The place was free for all of us and pretty empty. We all asked to wear masks (from age 2!)

Beautiful small museum- easy to see in an hour or two. Elevator to the second floor. Permanent exhibits plus new exhibitions keep it fresh. I took an art class there which was amazing. Free parking in the garage right there in Mizner across the street. You can walk in the square and have a bite to eat or a drink at the many options available with outside seating.

$14 per person admin fee to enter this 2 story art museum, $7 per floor if you will. I visited the full museum for 1.5 hours. Reading the unique artists descriptions and passing by to art, in my opinion, not interesting as it's caught up in contemporary ideology. Plenty of spacing between guests for Covid19. The most interesting set of art was the 11 presidential Chinese birth year descriptions and presidential outcomes. The parking is terrible as the art museum is on the edge of a self contained district off the main drag. Parking in the garage is the best bet but it's in the back section of this district meaning you'll have to drive around the block and then you'll find the entrance to the garage and walk to the museum. Summer time the outdoor theater is open to performance of dance, theater, and music. If you got 2 hours and enjoy art and being near a self contained district this a good place.

The museum was beautiful spacious and the Art exhibits were spectacular.. loved the mock cabin room displayed with the original props. I gave it a 4stars only because had to pay for parking in addition to admission.. but highly recommend the visit and see their exhibits. Plus being in the downtown area makes it a wonderful day out & about. Will be back ✨

nice museum, it has now a self portrait selection which is really interesting, I loved the self portrait of a cuban artist. they also have a photography exposition of African culture celebrations and it's also quite interesting. they are open on different hours due to the covid situation, but admission is free until September.

(Translated by Google) The museum is well located and is very nice, it has a variety of samples and for children I think it is good for the size of the spaces. My wife and I went during COVID-19 and they have all the sanitary measures to protect visitors, at the museum exit there are many restaurants and shops that can complement your walk in one place.
