I honestly don’t know if I’d come to Fort Lauderdale at all if Green Bar & Kitchen wasn’t here. It’s literally that good! All their food is super great but the Brussels Sprouts are so ridiculously amazing. Everyone is always so nice here and they’ve got a great patio to relax and enjoy the tastiest vegan food (or all food) around. 🌱💚🌱

This place is amazing. The menu was really fun and everything is clean eating. I love how they add french fries to the menu? The taco salad is my favorite. The outside area is a gorgeous little patio with lots of seating. The staff is nice and the bathrooms are clean!

It is always sad when I am forced to write a sub 4 star review for a vegan restaurant. However, there is just too much against it for a 4 star. First, the front counter folks were not very enthusiastic. I'm always friendly forward and kind to everyone in the service industry. In response, the staff seemed very disinterested in our party. -0.5 stars for that. Next, I had ordered loaded nachos with chili. Unfortunately, they were out of chili. That happens, I understand but the walnut mix that was subbed for it was cold and did not mix well with a hot nacho. Additionally, when served, no silverware or napkins were given with the nachos which became an issue as the chips got soggy over time. The vegan cheese was pretty good, but overall very average vegan nachos. -0.5 stars. My partner ordered the fried "rice." This dish was very disappointing. It was quinoa not rice as noted on the menu, but there was only edamame, the the just egg, and broccoli. For a mixed veggie stir fry, we would definitely expect more veggie variety and it did not have thay fried rice texture. The sauce was sweet and over moistened the quinoa. -0.9 stars Lastly, their pre-pressed juices were good but cost $10 each small bottle. Comparable juice shops would give fresh juices for $6-$8 so definitely felt a bit high priced. -0.1 stars Overall, per the 3 star definition, this restaurant is "just okay" for us. We would not go out of our way to return.

Don’t miss out on Food and Wine Feed Seed 2017 recipient winner. No animal byproduct at this place. Clean eating at this cozy establishment that comes outfitted with its own juice bar, gelato counter and lunch specials. Order the Taco Tuesday lunch special: 2 vegan tacos, homemade chips and salsa with lemonade for $10. The tacos were flavorful, healthy, and proportion friendly. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable with quick service. Vegan desserts and fresh juices are also available, along with outdoor seating. They do have the “incredible burger” here. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe I have found a new Vegan spot. I will return, soon.

Loved it! I know it’s a bit pricey but the food worth it. I tried a Taco Salad, it was just wow -so delicious and nutritious. My husband’s Impossible Burger really good. My children enjoyed their Mac and cheese and nuggets. Service was great! The only cons was a water glasses, seemed a bit dirty to me 😔

Went to take food out on Sunday. When we walked in no one greeted us. It was as if we were invisible. I asked where to place the order and was told to go inside. My husband and children went inside with me. The woman inside ignored us and looked mad and overwhelmed. Everyone had a mask on but it was under their nose. Finally a male server went to the register and I started asking questions about the menu because it was our first time there. He also looked annoyed and impatient. He kept walking away as I was asking questions. We placed our order and went in the courtyard to wait for our order. It came out in about 15 min and the man brought the food outside. The only positive experience was most of the food. We ordered Buffalo tempeh sandwich, the gyro, taco salad and Mac and cheese. Everything was good except the Mac and cheese was not edible. It tasted like watered down pasta. My whole family is vegan and we want to always support vegan establishments but this was just not a good experience and we will not be back.

Pretty good vegan food, although it was a bit too salty even for someone who normally adds extra salt to everything. The loaded sweet potato fries were the winner. The outdoor patio was very cute, with a lot of plants. It is good for South Florida.

Went to this place for the first time this weekend for the bottomless mimosas and the vegan food which I'd heard was amazing. I took a friend who's not vegan and both of us were amazed. The service was wonderful and they were so patient with us asking questions about everything. I settled on the coconut burger and my friend the beyond burger and we shared the loaded regular fries and the Mac and cheese. My coconut burger was BOMB!!! The flavor was outstanding, it had a really pleasant crunch to it, I really enjoyed it. My friend couldn't believe her beyond burger was not a regular hamburger and both of us couldn't get enough of the fries. I could leave the Mac and cheese, it wasn't really that good but everything else was amazing.

The food was delightful. Great flavors, great colors, both light and fulfilling. Staff was also nice, and the outdoor seating feels welcoming and refreshing. In detail: The veggie roast bowl was amazing, I tried to recreate it at home and failed miserably. It's a great dish that incorporates veggies, brown rice and quinoa. The gbk burger was also very good. I was also told it was the only house made burger and they really have done a great job with it. One of the best veggie burgers I've had. My friend had the coconut burger and he said he enjoyed it very much.

Awesome food but one of the girls working this afternoon, 11/29, was incredibly rude to my family, myself, and other customers; no greeting, rolling her eyes, storming away to the back of the kitchen when I requested no pickles, horrible attitude, rushing our order while no one else was in line, etc. It took everything in me to not snap at her in front of everyone. We spent over $100 celebrating my birthday and she ruined the entire meal, we were all so upset. I support vegan restaurants being vegan myself, but I won't be back to this place. Update: the GM of the restaurant is taking care of the situation and making up for it. Thank you.

A hidden treasure. I almost passed on this restaurant when I saw it from the outside. Inside is a relaxing courtyard surrounded by plants. The food is healthy and well presented. I had the power bowl which was delicious and was certainly sufficient even with my appetite. Definitely with visiting again.

Great food!!!! The GBK Burger is really tasty, the loaded fries are on point and the juices are great especially the 24 Carrot Magic juice.

We ordered buffalo tempeh & blackened chickn tacos and had some fries. Food was creative and very tasty. Prices were reasonable for what you get. Parking lot right next to restaurant. Casual w/ seating outside patio. Order at counter and your food is brought to you. Will definitely come back again if we are in town.

9/17 - Another great visit! I had the BBQ burger with Beyond patty with sweet potato fries. It is perhaps the best burger I have ever had. So so good. -------------------------- So satisfied! They definitely have a return customer. I Google vegan restaurant and this was the first one to pop up. As I scrolled through the menu I wanted to try everything, the food options sounded so good. I had the Baja Bowl and added quinoa, and I also had the mac-and-cheeze. Both were delicious. The service was excellent as well. Can't wait to visit again.

This place is a total haven. I came here since I had to check out of my hotel by 1 but my flight wasn’t until evening and I needed a serene place to pass the afternoon. The decor is beautiful and the food is amazing. The beautiful cashier who took my order and served me was kind, hospitable, and amazing. They were okay w me sitting long after my food was gone and just hanging out until it was time for me to head to airport. Very kind, plus I fully support and Plant-based restaurant that is escaping the standard mold. Would 100% recommend to travelers

Fresh, healthy food at a reasonable price. Quick service, great customer service. Breakfast tacos were generously sized, well seasoned. I loved them even though I rarely eat vegetarian or vegan only restaurants.

It was very fortunate stop. When walked in, knew that right away, I will gonna eat some delicious food. Indeed I was right! Now, if I’m the area, I know exactly where I’m gonna eat. Stuff is very kind, they are very cute. If can recommend a healthy kitchen, this is the one. Thank you.

Went on a Sunday afternoon before our flight. The staff were very very nice, kind, and helpful. The food was just okay. We ordered 2 impossible burgers (they have other house made burgers if that is what your interested in). They did not have oil, so no fries. We had a side salad and macaroni and cheese for sides. The house dressing was really good. The mac was bland. They have ice cream and desserts which was really nice. I had the lemon loaf cake and it was very good. I also tried the French toast. It comes topped with blueberry and blackberry compote. The toast was soggy in the middle due to the compote and the flavor overall was just okay.

Amazing place and wonderful staff. The baha bowl was a customer rec, as we have never been before. It was amazing! The max and cheese was decent, not my favorite. Still good though. The Caesar wrap was fine, nothing special compared to the baha bowl.

This place is amazing! I will forgive them for putting onions in my taco salad even though the order placed said no onions... mistakes happen. Honestly, aside from the mishap, the taco salad was pure heaven! It's one ofnthr beat things I have ever eaten! I will continue ordering from here for sure!

Where can I start, this place was amazing we had to beyond Burger, chicken sandwich, fries, chocolate cupcake, peanut butter with oats cookie and the marshmallow cookie. The food was great the french fries was from a Potato. The only thing with the food the beyond Patty Burger was smaller than the bun. The desserts I would give 1 star.. all of the desserts gave me a cake taste or a bread taste it may accommodate someone else tasting but it wasn't to my liking. The customer service was great the speed of the food to come out was an Average wait time.

I had lunch at Green Bar and Kitchen. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the menu had some great smoothie and meal options that were both gluten-free and vegan, which was so refreshing to find! (I searched for places on Ft Lauderdale that mentioned specifically having these options on the menu). Inside, the space was clean and trendy modern cute, and their outdoor patio was a nice little oasis on which to sit and enjoy my meal. The staff was also attentive outdoors as well.

Amazing. Had the sweet potato noodle bowl but was a bit disappointed as the amount of veggies weren't proportionate to the amount of noodles. For the price I would have like to have way more veggies. But still so good!

Enjoyed all of the flavors in the Baja Bowl with added chick’n. It comes with cilantro rice, corn succotash, black bean, red cabbage slaw, avocado, chipotle aioli + roasted tomatillo salsa, and corn tortilla strips. The strips are a nice touch because it gives the bowl a crunchy texture. They have open air seating and a good sized menu. The burgers were my favorite back in the day and the desserts are on point as well. Had the oatmeal cookie that was moist and sweet.

I ordered food for the first time in this place trough Postmates, the food arrived cold and the after a few hours I had stomach ache and vomit after I ate some of this food, thank good I didn’t eat all the food. Never buying in this place again.

We didn’t care for service, not really friendly. Coconut burger was good, more mango?! I don’t feel like it was healthy! Baja bowl was also just ok. I’ve had much better vegan food, menu was kinda Meh, same ol same.. I doubt we return.

Amazing food and service

Walked in and not greeted right away, actually felt ignored. I said hello and got a mediocre response. Was ignored for a few more seconds, cashier walked away and came back. The food was mediocre as well. I got the veggie burger and the flavor was ehh. It was cold in the middle and borderline burned on the outside, which gave it a bitter taste. I asked for the sauce on the side since it was my first visit. Thankfully I did. Both the chipotle mayo and garlic aioli were flat and lacking flavor. I got no spice what so ever from the chipotle and could barely taste garlic in my aioli. Thankfully I read the reviews and saw their Mac wasn’t great. So when I opt for the cheese fries I asked for the cheese sauce on the side. And I’m so glad I did. Points for in house fries but they were soggy. The cheese sauce tasted like all they were trying to do was mask the flavor from vegan cheese. I got the chicken nuggets for my daughter and they were decent. Probably the only thing I would get if I go back. Big if.

Food was a little better when I used to work there under the old regime. Back of house world was really mistreated so I have bitter memories of it. I still get food from it because it's the only vegan spot on broward that's affordable that has a veggie patty made in house (shutout GBK) and doesn't rely on Beyond or whatever. Now with new administration GBK taste kinda weird and doesn't hold up much. Need to rework that for sure. Hopefully they treat staff with more respect.

This is one of our favorite healthy bites in Fort Lauderdale. My wife and I go out of our way sometimes to enjoy a meal here outside on a lovely courtyard. The food is vegan and delicious. I recommend the coconut burger and Brussel sprouts.

Great outdoor seating. Food is a bit expensive for the portions you receive as they're a bit small. Recommended items: coconut burger with a wide of loaded fries
