I’ve been a patient of Dr. Erickson for a few years and I stayed with her because I thought that she was helping me even though her office staff leaves a lot to be desired. For a pain specialist her office team does not offer customer service for patients in pain. I finally left Dr. Erickson because in the last year I had requested no opioids because I’m not comfortable with strong pain killers. She prescribed me Tramadol which is not as strong. I also got 5 injections this past year for my neck area and none of them helped. She just kept doing the same thing even though it wasn’t helping. At my last appointment she didn’t refill my Tramadol as requested and gave me another opioid which I didn’t want. After such a long time together I expected more and I decided to find another doctor.

I had an appointment with Dr. Nancy Erickson on 6/15/22. This Dr. Blesses me. She is encouraging and supportive. Very much so! I have suffered an on the job injury back in 2005, and have been seeing her ever since. That's an ongoing relationship of (17-years) 😉 🙏 Upon leaving her office yesterday, an older man in her office lobby had ask me if she was a good doctor. I guess it was his first visit. 🤔 👍 I told him , yes indeed!!! I went on to explain that I've been seeing her for 17-years for my back troubles. I'd recommend anyone looking for a good pain management Doctor to consider her entirely. The office employees are all supportive from my experiences with encountering them. They work as a team. I have never had any trouble with communicating with anyone here. Doctor Erickson is a beautiful Christian soul, who is compassionate toward her profession. She in the time that I have known her, has helped navigate my pains to making my life tollbearable.

Waited more than 30 days for an appointment, received text verifications which I replied to and submitted the online questionnaire/verification. Showed up at 12:55 for my appointment and was told I was late… mind you nothing in what I received said to arrive 30mins early if that’s the case make the appointment for 12:30. Was then asked where my 17 pages of paperwork was… mind you I never received anything outside of a text from them which I responded to and filled out. Now I’m told well you can fill it out now, but we can only see you if somebody else is late or cancels… I waited a month. I can barely walk and this is a horrible example of poor communication and unprofessional conduct… period! Don’t bother they don’t care about your time, you are just a number not a person.

Very competent professional. I scheduled my appointment based on my wife’s experience over the many years of visiting Dr. Erickson. With that said I feel very comfortable to recommend her Practice.

First day of getting my appointment after 2 weeks of surgery because they didn't have space to see me. Before arrival time and early they failed to see me because they said I was sent an email which had the consultation documents for me to sign and fill out. I advised them that they had the wrong email on file and told them that email was incorrect. So instead of helping me out or giving me the documents to fill out at the office they said they had no other choice but to reschedule me for another time that they felt was convenientfor them. I was shocked of there response. They where very inconsiderate that I was recently out of surgery and in severe pain and they failed to manage me in any way possible. I was rejected from my appoint and all because staff failed to advise me this before hand. They should have advised me in the beginning and not after that I am there in person. I lost a day pay from work, school, and lost money in transportation from paying lyft. I don't recommend this place because staff failed to help the patient out and also because they are very unprofessional. Dr. Nancy should be aware of the type of staff she has working there. I am a person not a file. Learn to be there for the patient. I don't recommend this fascility due to the disturbing confrontation I had to witness from staff.

Dr. Erickson was great! She was very informative and personable as was her staff and assistant. I have been to other pain management doctors throughout the years and they always just wanna shove meds down your throat and get on with their next appt to make their money, but she actually cared about helping me heal and making me feel better not just masking the pain with as many opids as possible!!! I also didn't have to wait all day to be seen at my actual appt time!

I found the facility extremely well maintained. The staff professional and pleasant. Dr Erickson was very informative. Knowledgeable a true professional in her field. As well as having a great bedside manner. She maintained all of this while being in pain herself. I was extremely impressed. I believe I will finally receive the proper and accurate treatment I have for so long needed and was ignored and neglected by other drs.

Dr. Erickson was highly recommended from 2 of my Nieghbors who suffer from constant pain due to injuries; as they are aging & during Covid a lot of fear & anxiety added to their daily challenges. We all helped each other during the past couple of years & became a closer community. As my own unique health issue started to get in the way of my personal & professional life w mobility & pain levels, they encouraged me to seek her out even though she is not in my network for insurance. I have kept up as best I could since 2010 w being uncomfortable but being in my own body was now causing emotional distress; hopelessness, depression, anxiety, not sleep/eat/ well, not knowing how I'm going to feel day to day....constant pain along w bouts of sharp recurring pain has caused me to loose faith in myself, scheduling events, work, travel... Adding; self doubt, insecure, fear, feeling like a failure...& I was always Glass Half FULL & POSITIVE...I know there is no instant miracle but I do feel more Hopeful taking the steps to take care of myself & going to see Dr. Erickson. So far my experience w her Team has been Spot ON w real people speaking w you, direct, specific direction in what they need from the patient, ON Time, Active Listening w Action...No Nonsense, Experienced, Does not waste patients time or her Teams...Meeting Dr. E + Staff, Gave me confidence in her & my choice, a bit of Hope w her upcoming evaluation & plan of care on how to "MOVE" Forward w all..."Aging not for Sissy's"... I kept thinking my issues would go away & dissolve themselves but not the case...so Help I shall Seek

I highly recommend Dr. Nancy Erickson for Pain Management Medical Services. Dr. Erickson provided to me education about my pain management needs for my diagnosis, educated me about my diagnosis & symptoms and provided to me literature about pain management. This was so helpful as I am new to my diagnosis. Dr. Erickson is Professional & Personable, making it easy to communicate to her my needs, asking questions & expressing past & current pain experiences with my diagnosis.

I was scheduled for an appointment to see Dr. Erickson after getting out of the hospital with covid. I told Ed them that and they scheduled me anyway without telling me I needed to be retested before coming back. I can understand the concern, but I was treated like I had leapord, leaped, the other patients was telling everyone down stairs that I had Covid! Never been so humiliated in my life! I will never go back there!

My partner is newly completely blind and experiencing 10/10 pain from a hernia and pinched nerve. We were told to arrive 30 minutes early, but not told how difficult it would be to find the building or get him from the parking garage to the office. We arrived in the parking lot. at 11:25 for his noon appointment. We called at 11:40 to say we were there but struggling finding the office, they gave us more specific instructions. A long walk and 2 elevators Later (a struggle for a disabled person in excruciating pain) we arrive in the EMPTY waiting room at 11:58 for his 12:00pm appointment with his new patient paperwork already completed and they tell us they can’t treat him because he should have been in the office 30 minutes early. We called at 11:40 and told them we were there just struggling to get to the actual office! They said nothing and made him walk the long walk and multiple elevator trip in excruciating pain to send him away. They kept saying he could wait and see if there were cancellations, but there was no one else there! They were extremely rude right off the bat and kept yelling at my blind partner that he should have read his emails better.

My experience on my visit with Dr. Erickson was not only pleasant but very professional. Dr. Erickson took her time to sincerely listen to what and where my chronic pain is located. I would recommend anyone with chronic pain to call and make an appointment. I am very grateful for what Dr. Erickson has done for me.

I am a sickle cell patient who used to have to go the hospital a lot because my home meds weren’t doing the job maintaining my pain. Sickle cell is a dangerous disease that causes severe pain anywhere in the body. I have encountered a few visits where Dr. Erickson was on my case. I am highly allergic to morphine and can really only take dilaudid. Dr. Erickson came to my room and told me that they would be only giving me by mouth meds and this was only my first day hospitalized. Me knowing my body and knowing what works for me I knew it would only make my crisis worst. She was very nice nasty with the way she spoke and cared nothing about my allergy to morphine. This is one of the main reasons why I have stopped coming to Memorial West.

Patient on the follow up every 4 weeks routine since around 1/2019. I scheduled lumbar injections for 9/1/23, the office follow up was scheduled 9/27/23 and a thoracic injection scheduled for 9/29/23. When I scheduled those injections, the front desk was fully aware I was also scheduled for plastic surgery 10/3/23 and I was assured there would be no issue if the plastic surgeon didn't have an issue. The plastic surgeon saw no issue. We did the 9/1 lumbar injections and it was the first time I was left worse than before with a new issue (pain while lifting my leg, unable to exercise) and I waited 15 days after the injection (it's normal to still have pain up to 10 days after) before calling the office for help. I asked to move up my follow up appointment, not possible. I asked if she could just let the PA know or see if it's possible to get an auth to do another lumbar instead of doing the 9/27 thoracic injection. Nope, nope, just not possible, I'll need to just wait until my appointment to talk to someone. I called for several days in a row to check for cancellations, nope, nope, just not possible. I went to my follow up yesterday, no foreseeable issues. We talked about my upcoming cosmetic surgery, I was told she was putting the auth in and although she couldn't promise we could get a stat, we would try and she would call me back. No call back. I called this morning to follow up and was told Dr. Erickson decided she's not going to do any injection tomorrow since I'm having cosmetic surgery next week but I might be able to schedule an injection for November. I strongly believe my increased/new pain is directly related to the lumbar injection done 9/1. I believe the front desk should have consulted with someone the first time I called saying hey I'm 32 and can't lift my leg without pain after the procedure this office did. I believe the front desk should have asked and been 100% about scheduling the 9/29 injection when I insisted they make sure it wasn't going to be a problem a month before, this conversation should not have happened less than 24 hours before. I don't appreciate being a patient for a good amount of time and being physically left worse off and brushed off. I need to wait months to get help for a new pain issue that came from a procedure this doctor did??

My first initial visit was pleasant and seemed as Dr Erickson was unlike many. However, her staff is rude! No compassion! I was taken to ER via ambulance and was told Dr Erickson would be in the following day. No show n then her office lady Nancy calls me to tell me Dr Erickson would not see me. Was prescribed medication and never followed through. I've been sick for 4 days and when I was able to get in touch though her on

I had a visit with Dr. Nancy Erickson on the 30th of this month. My experience was great! she was very informative regarding my situation and explained in detail how simple the procedure would be deterring me from a Major operation. I would like to thank Dr. Erickson for explaining in detail my options and look forward to Being treated by her.

Dr. Erickson treated me during my recent hospital admission and I could not be happier with the care I have received. Your compassion is transparent, your decisions for treatment combined with your blessed hands have allowed my unbearable hospital stay to be strangely pleasant. You make me feel safe, you listened to my needs, and made recommendations for a procedure that has immensely bettered my mobility. Superhero’s wear gowns.. we learned that during the pandemic..mine wears a gown and and a Dolphins Jersey underneath. Thank you so much for waking up to do what you do every day. It’s people like you that make the difference in a patients way of life. Feeling very lucky and blessed to be in your care. Thank you!!!!!

I enjoy going to Dr. Erickson's office. Staff is friendly and caring. She works very hard to help keep her patients out of pain and work on treatment plans that work. Plus she and her staff have great personalities, that you leave there with a smile and the hope of no more painful days. Truly a great office.

My first appointment with Dr. Erickson was essentially the best possible indication that she will provide the highest level of professional excellence in the field of chronic pain management. Time will verify the validity of my first impression. But every indication was that Dr. Erickson & her staff have the level of professional expertise, administrative efficiency & the personal capacity for empathy that has become increasingly rare in the medical profession. I am greatly reassured by my first experience with Dr. Erickson & her staff!

After the unnecessary nerve wrecking suspense (twice) ordeal @ 51 years old. Each one of them having their own obvious LP song & dance ordeal A Sureal "The Twiglight Zone" platform. All Good! But, I must say that finally after the intermitten acute Mechanical inflicted surgical repairs that have progressed from a radiofrequency that permanently denervated the L-4 medial brach, 2008 this is what escalated & progressed onto 2011 lumbar diskectomy then, due to the anatomical out of obvious balance then, Had no choice but TO REMOVE A SCREW AS IT STARTED IMPINGING SPINAL CORD. Wow! Thank U! Insurance approved my prescription being releases TODAY, UNLIKE What loudly was Told @ ME as If I were child & committing a crime. since 3pm today Well much much earlier apt. Being @ 1:45pm. I've been for way over 30 years dealing with Every & all pain meds. Conservative Alternative Protocols for managing pain. Which all did failed" Wait!! I may add, not long ago myself being the O.R. F.A.C.S.T. (certified first assistant Surgical Tech Liaison of CST) & office manager/consultant & the "oncall" service for a very reputable N.M.B. If needed B & The one common item Being with any & all patients aiming from either our Dr. in Anesthesia or CRNA & our Dr. being the Surgeon himself. Do No Harm Specially knowing That pain is immeasurably measured what one describes as pain, will never equal to the next patient, particularly within the Haitian community, them being extremely unable to tolerate pain. Le Doctor! Je suis avec aussi beaucoup de douleur ( this example is a fact Therefore today's dictatorship on who? Can or Cannot is so vague & unrealistic Sureal, & worse of all on an already beyond stablished for over a decade with opioids patient, with real permanent ongoing conditions & in every single joint involved & nerve damaged pandemically). O.A. dual pathologies syndromes, evolved post & from the conservative extensively surgical fixings leading to an acute 24/7 burning knife within my midback lower back obviously chronic as it has not stopped, yet mechanically induced, with the Ongoing progressions being confirmed. Meanwhile, obviously That one important factor 100% either bypassed or 100% ignored. Let's keep in mind That the one particular mutilating Surgery that I'm avoiding is but one of the 7 Different ongoing reasons of where I'm at today.) -------- Therefore, upon meeting the criteria by who I worked under, & knowingly "out of the question" I never allowed people to suffer only to demonstrate who's holding the pan by the handle. That's power tripping at best ---- Now @ 7:21pm & script shines in its absence at my permanent Walgreens! FINALLY My awesome pharmacy bless them! Called me @ 8:40pm just minutes before they closed Letting me know they were just sent, within 10mins is when she had them ready! Now that's A1A efficiency! What an agonizing ordeal. Just the drive to & from Dade County - to Pembroke Pines & vice versa While being miserable & the obvious mixture of the sharp 24/7 jabbing pains plus the withdrawl aches EACH PASSING HOUR IT JUST GETS WORSE Clearly Purposely! Very much appreciated by Dr's office "after hours" service for the answering Dr. Who Took the time to send. The ""ON THE Q"" line (Like cattle) & merciful act of Humanity!
