    Petco "the place where dogs can't be dogs " In Petco dogs can't bark. I put my dog in training classes so that she could learn how to not bark at people When she barked the first time, she got banned from Petco Training Classes. (I registered my dog for classes where they supposedly teach her not to bark) and they canceled me because my dog was barking. My dog never barked aggressively, she just feels nervous to meet people the first time. "She is just a real dog". Now, one year later I took her to trim the nails and she was scared to go inside and started barking walking backwards and they couldn't do the service. Now my question is : Are they supposed to know how to treat dogs? So, why dogs can't be dogs? I mean dogs bark!! I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with Petco and therefore I don't recommend any Petco services if you have a terrier.

    The groomers at this Petco location are totally unprofessional, unfriendly and extremely rude. I had taken my Yorkie there for grooming last year. Last week I scheduled an appointment for grooming services. I planned my day around this appointment and when I got there the unfriendly lady at the grooming area open our file and said to me your dog is not allowed to receive grooming here. When I asked why, her reply was that the last time he was there he did not behaved and pooped while he was getting groomed. I couldn’t believe it. So my response was, why did you give us an appointment last week? All she had to say was that I should have been total that he wasn’t allowed in their place. How unprofessional. And the fact that they can not handle a little Yorkie is ridiculous. I will never again step into a Petco store.

    Very very bad place for bringing your pet. My dog has bad hips so I asked not to touch her on the rear sides since she will cry in pain. She said that she will be grabbing her sides anyway to cut her nails and bathe her. Obviously we said don't worry about doing that area then if you can't figure out any way to cut nails without grabbing her rear sides. Without 2 minutes of pulling her into the back room I heard the dog cry and by the time we got to the car we had to pick her up. Keep in mind I never have issues with my dog or with friends/family along with the vets in the past with biting. This place is HORRIBLE with treating your dogs. I am so glad I was able to get her before they hurt her any more. PLEASE go elsewhere.

    My pup went in on Saturday for a bath- A BATH! Her first time, she came out COMPLETELY MATTED! Prior to coming into the grooming center, I needed to show proof of vaccinations. They did a quick analysis to make sure she was healthy, checked her ears, etc. They told me she is perfect. 4 days later I am in the ER because she has developed pneumonia, kennel cough, and an infection. This is the ONLY place she was surrounded by other dogs. HORRIBLE!! $2000 vet bill, needs to be washed again to take out all of the matting spots, and worst of all a very sick dog! STAY AWAY!

    I do not usually feel the need to leave not so happy reviews, unless ultimately necessary. However, I am very frustrated as I took my GoldenDoodle to be groomed on Thursday July 27th, at 8:30 am. I understood that my puppy was going to need to be shaved all the way down. No worries there. However, when I went to pick him up, and we finally made it home, I noticed that both of my puppy’s ears were bleeding. I was very frustrated as my almost 1 year old pup was uncomfortable. I understand that things happen, however, I was never informed when I initially picked him up. Which, of course would cause great frustration upon a dog owner. We called and they asked for me to bring him back, I did. The Vet Techs were very helpful with the situation, and assisted me the best they could. Yes, they did refund me, however, in no way shape or form is it about the money. It’s about my pups well being. For that fact, any dogs well being. It is now Sunday July 30th, and my pup is still in great discomfort, which now I will have to take him to see another specialist to see actually how serious the cuts are, as he is still bleeding and the blood patches are much larger than just “tiny knicks”.

    Horrible experience. We wanted to buy a gecko and did research on what products are good and manager offered us products that were clearly not ideal. He was removing items from our cart without permission and when we declined to buy the specific products he wanted he told us he could not see us the animal if we didn’t buy what he wanted (even though it wasn’t ideal for the animal). We left everything there and left elsewhere and found a beautiful gecko at another pet store that had amazing customer service. Please beware he is a short man with darker skin tone and glasses, very unprofessional.

    Took Bear for a shampoo and a cut. He came out looking like a million bucks. Loved the service. Bear was good and I thought he would loose his cool but maintained. Place is clean and speedy. Thank you from the family.

    I drove a long distance to this store because it shows online that have certain product in stock, when I arrived to the store they don't have the product for 30 capsules only had the same product for 80 capsules at double price. I am very disappointed with this store, my doggy is not good and this store do fake advertisement offering in stocks something that they don't have.

    I used to call a mobile groomer to the house who would charge me $115 for ONE mini poodle . Now I take both of my mini poodles to PETCO for around the same price. They have an open space and you can see how they handle the dogs thru the glasses. My groomer was Mariana, she did exactly what I asked her to do and the cut in my Miso is super cute and even! His legs, face and body are perfection, super happy with the outcome.

    I visited veterinarian for my kitty. It was my first time in that vetco. Everybody was so nice, very professional, caring. I am always worried about everything but this time I felt comfortable living my kitty there for a few hours. I appreciate the attention for my kitten. Honestly the staff attention was above and beyond. Even though it’s an hour drive for me I wouldn’t take my kitty anywhere else. Thank you so much.

    Veterinarian services is excellent. I went with my doggie Max because I was needed a health certificate to travel purpose. First, they calling me to confirm the appointment then when I arrive the front desk lady was super attentive and know me by name. Second the Dr gave me all the instruction and medication. I feel so confident about the care of my doggie. I recommend them 100%

    One of my favorite pet stores. They sell pets like snakes, chameleons, ferrets, fishes, etc and also supplies for all these animals and of course everything you need for dogs and cats. A Lot of food brands to choose from. The store also provides services such as grooming, pet insurance, etc. Customer service is very good.

    Larry was the worst manager I’ve ever dealt with honestly. I am a very patient and kind person and I will never understand why some Managers have the entitlement to be rude to you just because you have a question or God for bid a situation. I called back because I was on the verge of tears and hate confrontation, but the situation seemed unfair on my end. He hung up on me without even saying goodbye. I’ve been shopping here for a long and have met many of the other employees and managers. What a great first impression Larry.

    Store is small but people that work there make up for the size of the store. The groomers and assistants have a pleasant, helpful attitude and your scheduling is on point and respected. I will return.

    Manager doesn’t work with customers for returns/store credit. Not allowed to use any critical thinking at all. Don’t worry, if you can’t find your receipt, you’re safe as long as they have your personal phone number on file and you give it to them each time you make a purchase. No risk for data mining with your personal information at all, wink wink. The district managers must be proud. Do yourself a favor and order through Amazon. Returns are easy and the prices are almost always better. You could always walk through the store to look at the items, then launch your Amazon app.

    Store was great and Al/Alwyn really went above and beyond in helping me. I had a an issue with a return that was on me, and he spent 20 minutes helping me and even got on the phone with someone higher up to get the full amount when the system didn’t intially give it. Definitely the best face of customer service a business can have.

    I came to buy my daughter her first Betta fish and I had no idea how to set up the tank;/ Alwyn and another very kind woman went above and beyond to help me! It's nice to actually see a business caring about customers:) also the selection of fish was much nicer than PetSmart and Pet supermarket.

    The people are knowledgeable of the different pets for kids and we walked away with three birds and snacks for them. Great customer service and excited to head back for future pets. We recommend them to family and friends.

    Sofia was very helpful! , I had no idea how to take care of new fish a friend had given me and she helped me learn how to take care of them and what proper tanks I would need and what fish go well together. she was very kind and had amazing customer service! 10/10 would recommend coming here

    Has low price, low quality grooming. Staff needs more training. Appointments are not easy to makd nor clear on time frame. Vet onsite.

    Racist Spanish guy with glasses and fat store clerk lady wouldn’t take my hundred dollar bill because of my appearance “African American , tattoos and du rag”, Told me that they could not verify my hundred dollar bill, mind you someone just paid with $100 bill right before me.. they didn’t check it at all , they just both looked at me and said no , no pen didn’t look in light to see strip , just said no because they can’t verify it unless it’s blue ..

    This is the best place to go for your pets, I am very hard to please and pessimist, I called because my dog was very sick so they told me about the first time no cost promotion and I asked about the catch or the backend story of that but they informed me there was not any catch.so everything went smooth from there and everyone was nice O definitely recommend that place.

    If I could give Petco grooming zero stars, I would! Worst customer service ever! They cancel appointments without telling you until the day of, lie and say that they’ve tried contacting you, and go so far as to claim that they’ve left messages. They take zero responsibility or ownership in their failure with customer service. And the reason why they cancel appointments, they are no longer taking dogs that are more than 10 years old! Don’t waste your time or money with these unprofessional, childish, immature groomers!

    Terrible service. Lazy employees at the register and in the back. Dont care to help. Went for bamboo, got 2 small sticks was told they were large, didnt ring me up, didnt help me get them, didnt help fogire the price out. Didnt do anything useful, nothing but lazy people there as of 10.10.22 shift 6:15pm. Girl at the register was awful, man at the front was lazy and doing something else and told me incorrect prices. Shop elsewhere for your pets. Everything was overpriced there anyways, and of sub par quality in the fish department as well as employee department.

    The wellness center the staff is fantastic, I love bringing my dog here. They are caring and undersatndable. I don't understand why people have a great experience, I've never had aproblem with the retail side, I have called in the past before driving to check if they have a product in stock and with no problem they have assisted me. Cashiers are young and nice, we all were young once and learned the ropes of a job, instead of posting your negativeness look at the positive side of things that really matter. Thank you PETCO staff for trying hard and for the ones that do great!!

    Bad service, new guy very poorly trained. Rude. He took forever to bring a "scanner" to check my online order, then I couldnt understand what he was saying, he then said he had asked for my name, I gave him my first name, he added "what" (as in what is your last name). I always shop online here, never had an issue. Then he couldnt find the item, he certainly had absolutely no idea of what product he was looking for. I had to point out to him to the product. That is fine and I know everybody has a story but the problem is that he was rude. I hope you guys train your associates better than this. Shortage of human resources may be a problem now but training may help.

    This store has the worst cashier I've ever witnessed. I walked in to get treats for my dog. A nice lady helped in the isle but when I went to pay, there was a slouchy lady their typing on her phone. She was bent over and it took her almost 2 minutes to acknowledge me then she turned her head and said I'll be right back and walked away talking to a guy who was stocking. It was unbelievable. I only had 3 items. It woukd have taken her only a few minutes to check me out. I left my 3 items at the register and left. This experience will make Petco loose a lot of money especially when there's a petsupermarket a few blocks away and a PetSmart right across I75. At this point, with an employee such as this Petco should invest in a self check and send her home immediately. She obviously does not want to work and her cell phone takes priority over customers. Terrible shopping experience.

    I brought my cat here for the first time and they were amazing from the moment I walked in. They were patient in listening and getting all the information needed before taking my cat to the back. Nothing was done without my understanding and approval. I was given alternative options to their recommendations and I was also given time to make a decision without any pressure. I highly recommend Vetco, the hours and location was convenient and it smelled great too!
