I did actually stay at Silver Spray at Hollywood Beach Hotels by myself during spring break in March. The room was great. I didn't have any major problems except for the ceiling fan not working. The location was a quick and easy access to the beach, shopping and dining areas of Hollywood Beach. The bed was well done. Sheets and towels are clean to perfection. Staff was friendly and considerate with assessing my questions and concern. I would love to return back whenever I'm by South Florida area in need for a place to stay.

I love coming here. I'm a local but need to escape some days and on the beach for a great rate is a deal for me. I always book online and get the cheapest prices. Clean rooms and free breakfast with yummy varieties. I'll continue choosing them for my weekend escapes. BOOK TODAY

This place is very very dirty....when I booked online the place looked pretty decent looking online.... but Beware when you get there it's not at all what it looks liked online! ...Very run down looking. I wanted to take a shower and there were roaches in the bathroom floor and in the shower, after that I left. I lost $600, so in actuality it is not cheap because there are other fees they hit you with when you get at the check-in desk. The staff didn't care about our concerns and denied any type of compensation for the horrible experience! ...this place is very dirty and people that stayed there really gave me bad vibes. I was actually scared to stay there.....be careful at the places at hollywood beach hotels....they are cheap for a reason...."you get what you pay for!" Is there an option for zero stars? DO NOT BOOKED OR STAY WITH ANY PLACES WITH HOLLYWOOD BEACH HOTELS!!

Service first of all sucking.. booked online and you're expected to get a full kitchen stove for a superior sweet. Nothing states anything about a kitchenette on their site. Nothing. Get here and it's missing everything we expected to get with the room.. and bc our reservation says it had a kitchenette they won't do anything about it even though they're booking for the rooms show 0 rooms to book with a kitchenette. None of the options are for that. None. We expected a bed with a full fridge. Full stove. A sofa bed. And on top of that you have to wait outside all day for them to clean it and it wasn't even clean getting in.

Worst experience ever. Checking process location is an inconvenience. They’re low on staff and check in office is very small. The beds are very uncomfortable and makes squeaky noises. The rooms are outdated and infected with small bugs. The location is very tight, loud, and busy. Parking is $21. Be careful because bookings are non refundable, not worth the headache. I will never book here again. Avoid this place.

I had stayed at this location on December the 10th of 2023 and I experienced pest in the room roaches to be exact I had contacted the office and they made an attempt to move us to another room and upon the movement is to another room we discovered that that room also had cockroaches as well so we explain this to the manager that was working on duty and he explained to us that we had to send in proof of the pestilence situation so once we sent the proof in with the video and the pictures pertaining to the pest and the room we were promised a full refund to our card of choice that we had on file up on calling the company back basically two weeks later I was informed that we were not getting the refund because we didn't provide proof of the pest in the room when we did the email was sent to info at Hollywood email that was provided to us by the front desk clerk and the manager and we also sent it to the Agoda booking and we still were denied our refund of the room I don't feel I should accept that basically it's wrong to steal from people

This place was very inconvenient. I had to walk to the hotels main office which was a block and a half away. While there I had inquired with the front desk as to why I did not receive any housekeeping. I was told by the front desk that housekeeping was provided every 3 days. So I waited the 3 days, and noticed that there was no housekeeping provided to my room. When I went back to inquire with the front desk as to why housekeeping was not provided, I was advised that you have to request housekeeping for your room. I attempted to let them know that this was not what I was told initially, but received the generic, “I am sorry for that”. My opinion as to the services provided, and the professionalism of the hotel, I would have to say that it is average to sub-par at best. My experience will dealing with hotel employees is that they could care less what you have to say, and if you don’t like it, the vibe given off is one of “Oh well”. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay at the Silver Spray Motel.

Horrible experience -uncomfortable bad with plastic wrap on mattress under the sheets, poorly working AC, WiFi is extremely slow and shut off multiple times, couldn't sleep because people were partying and were awfuly loud. Worst was a huge coach roach 🪳 I saw on top of my clothes. On top they charged you resort and parking fee . I refused to stay another night that i paid for. They don't issue refund for any reason. So stay away from this place if you have other choices.

Before taking someone's payment, they should begin with stating a deposit is required. They took my payment and charged me for parking. Being I booked through a third party app (useless) I assumed a deposit wasn't necessary (I have done so in the past with other properties). I was then told a $100 deposit was required (I didn't have enough being I was in an emergency situation trying to find a place to sleep in with my child in an unknown location). I then asked for a refund and was denied. They charged me $59+ cancelation fee and kept the parking fee even though I did not sleep there or park there. I ended up sleeping in my car with my child at a nearby walmart neighborhood market.

The check in was a nightmare, inefficient and unorganized. There is a small business office for about 10-12 properties with 2 employees. The female employee seemed to be on a power trip stopping the check in to tell the other employee what to do, or yell at housekeeping, or do a transaction for a soda. If I hadn’t pre-booked on line and non-refundable, or if I wasn’t simply exhausted I would have walked out and went some where else. Don’t let the low price online fool you. There are so many fees like $20/day parking. The room was adequate for 1 person. There is no dresser to put any clothes but there is big closet without lights or hangers. The chair is too large for the living space, the kitchen had a massive leak on the first night. I did inform them, twice, because clearly this has been leaking for a while. The cabinets are getting compromised from all the water damage but they haven’t come to look at it. The hot water won’t work in the kitchen unless you turn the hot water on in the shower. It is within a couple blocks to the beach which is great. I did encounter 1 employee last night when I had to extend my stay. She was friendly , knowledgeable and efficient. I think her name is Liz- great job girl!!i. If you read all the fine print when you book online, and prepare to be unimpressed snd underwhelmed during your initial check in then you will be fine.

Ill stay here again. Nothing fancy, location is great, room and building is alittle old but so Am , front desk office is 1 block away but the girls at the counter were great. The room walls arent sound proof so if you cant sleep listening to the sound of your neighbors TV it may upset you but personally it didnt bother me but you may want to take note of that small issue. Beware parking is an extra $20 fee aday……. Follow my travels on instagram at mylifemyterms55

On a good day, with a decent room, this place is doable. However, on another note, it’s not an average place you aim to visit and stay with your family. Good for solo traveler and needing to be right next to the beach, which was the best part!

  • 3/5 Valerie B. 2 years ago on Google
The check in process was ridiculous. You have to check in a couple blocks away and it took standing in line for well over an hour to finally get our room. Very unorganized staff. Room was adequate. Location to the beach was Awesome. Boardwalk right behind the hotel.

Rooms were clean but very old. Electrical outlets not fastened properly to the wall and had loose wires… hardly any available outlets. One of the two rooms we rented had a really severe, dangerous natural gas leak and my father had to be moved to a new room. Location overall is great, the Hollywood Beach Motels have great options, but SilverSpray is dilapidated.

Horrible place and Horrible staff. Lots of shady guests, bad smell, long waits, and they lie over the phone. I would stay away from this place and this business with no etiquete.

BEWARE OF ROACHES BED BUGS and TERMITES in these rooms. Management are extremely nasty people and that’s why the front desk staff will treat you poorly. They don’t care about these reviews unless you’re leaving them a good one. The bed bugs but up my family horrifically and when you address it to them they get defensive and tell you that you must leave the property please choose another hotel for your safety’s sake please keep in mind THEY HAVE SEVERAL PROPERTIES UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES . Don’t be fooled by the pictures. They also charge fees on top of whatever you pay so please note that. I would never recommend my enemy to stay here please do yourself the favor and run.

Rooms were decent but the process of getting the room was terrible. Be aware that you'll be paying $40 in extra fees for any of their places, more if your stay is longer. Desk staff were friendly, but others yelled at children and multiple other guests for doing nothing but walking back into the food court.

This is part of Hollywood hotels. If you’ve dealt with them before you’ll know it all depends on who you get and when. Expect check in delays. Expect to pay for parking. I did not expect to have someone come into my room with a key. They definitely set the mood for my wife’s comfort and security. In the morning someone decided to knock on my door heavily to remind me I had to check out unless I had a late check out. Which I did.

    1. Beware the Extra Fees, resort, parking, security dep. 2. BED-Bugs: After 2 nights we realized the Welts everyone had were BED BUGS. Not just 1 room, but 2. The upgrade, hush money, was little comfort to the nightmare of bed bugs and hundreds of bites. Surely mgt knew, 2 separate rooms far apart were under attack by bed 🐜 bugs. Horrible experience

The price is decent , room was clean, the pillows suck as my head kept becoming even with the bed in 5 minutes, lots of light coming in room at night that it was hard to sleep. Check in took 45 minutes. Location is good, close to beach, if you want somewhere to crash for the night its worth it but not anywhere to enjoy a room. Towels were an issue 2 towels total, no hand towels or wash clothes and the body wash was barely enough to take a shower.

The line to get your room may be a little long but the staff is really nice and they have free hot tea and coffee for you while you wait. Once we got our room we saw how nice it was and cozy.. not to mention the Hershey kisses were soo good. Had a fun night staying in Hollywood and would definitely do it again soon.

This is a great place, right by the beach. The room was clean, and well equipped with fridge, cooker. One star off because the A/C did not really work well. Also, be warned, this one those places where you think you've paid when you book, then they want a "resort fee" when you arrive ...that's such a ripoff ... put all the costs in upfront, rather than give a nasty surprise on arrival.

  • 1/5 Ian O. 1 year ago on Google
Charged me an additional $20/night resort fee AND $ 20/night parking. Hidden fees. The staff told me "everyone who rents here knows this. Staff was unhelpful and very unfriendly. Took hrs to check in. You have to walk 2 blocks to the front desk if you have any problems. Which I did when the room keys didnt work in the blazing sun. That took another hour to get any help. And then had to wait ANOTHER hour for maintenance to being me a working key. This place is like purgatory. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

BED BUGS!!! My boyfriend and I woke up this morning with bed bugs crawling all over us. We called down to the front desk and they sent someone over that very visibly confirmed our disgust. She apologized and was empathetic. The front desk how ever did not apologize a single time. Tyler the manger of this hotel and Karen working the front desk could not have been more uncaring and nonchalant. They simply stated the only compensation they could offer us was 50% off on another booking with them in the future. 50% off to sleep with bedbugs. I cannot believe this is the level of customer service they aspire to. This must be a regular problem they encounter for them to be completely void of any concern or well being for their guests. Florida state law says under the state’s premises liability law, which states that hotels and their equivalent can be held liable for any injuries suffered by a guest, including bed bug bites. Any Florida business that opens its doors to overnight guests is in the business of innkeeping and, as a result, has a legal duty to protect their guests from harm. They failed to do so and couldn't even apologize for the inconvenience and the possibility of contracting something from bed bug bites. Im disappointed and shocked at the level of customer service at Hollywood Beach Hotels. I think it's safe to say anyone would expect a better customer service experience. The bar here is very very low.

Dirty hotel horrible customer service . Who ever is the owner of this Property should maybe go and visit there business and look around would you allow your children stay and sleep in this dump . Get yourself a new cleaning staff and also a manager for that department . And visit your business often . Your Property has a lot of potential. But your own staff is bringing your business down to the gutter . “CHANGE YOUR ENTIRE STAFF “. you get what you pay . You pay cheap salary to your employees you get the same in return cheap labor . Start with offering some competitive wages . Cheap owner cheap labor trash business .

Do not stay in this hotel. It is absolutely disgusting. There was dog hair and human hair on the beds and couch, also I woke up with bed bugs all over me. None of the toilets worked, went to the front desk and asked if they could fix it, “sorry we can’t at the moment, short staffed.” Didn’t even say sorry then went back later that night and said “someone will be up shortly,” nobody ever came. So I had to fix because there was no other choice. Thankfully I only had to say one night because the next day I was off on a boat character. Don’t stay here, and sorry to the people that had stayed here before and thought it was going to be a lovely place and turn out to be disgusting.

We just got off a cruise and was exhausted. For starters, we had to walk 2 blocks to check in. This office runs a few different locations. I was told we could check in by 12, when got there they said it would be extra to get us a room early. Staff was rude. $4 for a bag of ice, $20 deposit for beach towels. Rooms look MUCH better in the photos on Google. Place is run down. It was a place to lay my head for a night with hot water to shower, but would not stay there again.

  • 1/5 Tony T. 1 year ago on Google
Took my deposit over 2 weeks ago and still havent refunded it back. Hidden fees ( resort fees) you have to pay to park on the property. Other than that the room was nice and clean. The employees were nice. You are close to the beach.

I am a person with disability, I am in a wheelchair. There was not a wheelchair ramp to go into the room, I had to crawl to get into the room and inside the room I had to crawl to get into the bathroom. It was the worst experience I've ever had.

Nice older motel, nothing fancy.Area around it is very nice.👍Seawall and strip with bars and restaurants on the beach, walking distance!Hard to pass this place up.It can get very busy on weekend though!

Please do not come here. This is a warning. Unless you desperately on a super super tight budget because this place offers you nothing but a location. The staffs were rude. The room is like a 1.5 star hotel. Free breakfast is not worth it at all. You can only go into the cafeteria one time and the food is not that good.

One of the worst experience at hotels check in was horrible over an hour line the room was so dirty thankfully I had my cleaning supplies with us breakfast was not as expected specially on Sunday morning were they only had old boiled eggs and coffee and the lady that takes care of the breakfast was at the door cursing to someone on the phone because the person that was supposed to bring the breakfast did not show up. the next morning she was listening to gospel we came in we said good morning and she rudely asked us for our room key as she did not saw us the last two mornings I mean horrible! Saturday night our second night it was raining bad we came from one of the restaurants to find out none of our room keys worked the man in the lobby said it was malfunction no apologies ! not counting that when we arrived Friday night they gave our room to someone else and relocated us so unorganized never thought a few days at the beach were going to be such a horrible experience and parking $20 a night .

Supposed to be pet friendly yet two huge dogs were next door barking all three nights but desk told us WE could move..ummm noooo we are not the problem, make the dogs that aren't even supposed to be here move. If you want or need anything you have to wait in a line which even at midnight there's two or three people always in line. Plus they have a small store, no prices on anything that they're trying to check people out from the same counter. They check in 22 hotels in one small hotel with two desk clerks. They never answer their phones. Housekeeping pounds on your door numerous times even after you booked a late checkout. Supply a coffee maker but no coffee cream or sugar. One fork, two plates. Continental breakfast isn't even at your hotel you have to walk blocks for it, and building looks abandoned and shady. TV only has free channels, no real cable and it's hard to even pick a channel to watch. However the room was clean and the best part was being 200 ft from the beach. I would not recommend staying here or at any of the 22 motels affiliated with it.

The amenities and room were great. Very clean room with granet counter tops in the kitchen. The check in process was very slow and took a long time even at 10:45 pm a line of 5 people and over and hour!

Don't do it. This is an absolutely disgusting property. The employees are rude and the atmosphere is horryifying. Hollywood Beach Hotels seems to hide the fact that they manage multiple properties in the Hollywood area by using generic images of their main office. We had our Uber drop us off at the hotel we booked, then had to walk with all of our luggage many blocks to the office to check- in. Stay pretty much anywhere but at a Hollywood Beach Hotel.
