Went with the family not knowing what to expect. We were amazed at how delicious all the food was. French dip came with onion ring garnish which were well seasoned and perfectly crunchy. Beef on the bun was stacked high and high quality. Finished off with a red pepper sauce which added a little kick. Wife had the fish and chips said it was one of the best shes ever had. Better than fish at white rock beach for sure. Batter was thin but crunchy not a bite was missing cod. Father in law had the Reuban not a big eater anymore, but every bite was stuffed in without a peep.

Sat out on the patio with a big group, received very good service. Ordered the large halibut (2 pc), basically looks like they took one piece and cut it in half (small portions), fish was good, fries were some of the best I've had. Definitely not filling for $24. Menu looks good but not inexpensive (not much is anymore).

It was ok...... the wing deal on Wednesday isn't so much a deal, for example Hwy 97 Brewery is 9 bucks for 10 nice sized wings everyday plus a side of veg and dip (Barley Mill is just wings). Pretty much every other restaurant in Penticton has a better wing night (bang for your buck). Beer selection was sad..... My son enjoyed his burger with a side poutine so that was well and fine but for the price I am glad he did, because this review would have ended much worse.

Went for a date night with my wife, food was great! bartender (Andrew???) was amazing, honestly made us laugh and enjoy the experience ten fold, and only reason we will come back..reason for that is we witnessed the clearly intoxicated owner belittle his staff and his arrogance was disgusting, and to top it off he got in his truck while visibly drunk… we over herd him speaking to staff and it was disgusting.. surprising anyone works for him at all… we later learned that this is well known through town.. if it weren’t for the wonderful staff we would never come back.. but besides that everything was great!

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸŽ€πŸ’˜πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Always love the atmosphere of this pub. The food is amazing & so it the beer... I had the Steak & Sleeve special for $16.99 (after 3pm) Paired with the Winter Ale & I added garlic toast for only 99 cents. The meal was s0o0o0o0o delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly to the MR asked foe & spiced perfectly. Mashed potatoes have great flavor as well as topped with gravy aside delicious veg... crafted here this time I tried the Berry Sour & it is exactly what its name says & I also tried the Winter Ale (paired with my meal) & this brew is like a chocolatey coffee treat... I dont drink coffee tho its just the right equality to the flavour palet provided. I say a hell yeah to Barley Mill once again!

We had a good time at Barley Mill. The atmosphere was nice with live music. We shared hot wings, my husband had quesadillas with pulled pork and I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was all delicious. They drink menu isn’t great though, very little selection of beer for a pub. The food is kind of pricey too, but overall it was a good experience.

Servers were really friendly and attentive. There was some cool memorabilia on the walls, however it feels quite rundown and dirty inside. Could use an upgrade. The bathrooms were clean. Burger and fries were good

I came out from Kelowna with my sister and to have a fun night at karaoke for my birthday. Even though we are pretty picky with food, this place nailed everything. My sister and I shared the clubhouse and the chicken cranberry flatbread and both were so incredibly good. The atmosphere and the people and the karaoke were all amazing. My only negative would be about the service. He was nice but was very fast when speaking to us, almost brushing us off. Even my one friend tried to order a drink twice and he would leave so fast he wouldn't even hear my friend try to order his drink. And then when I ordered another drink he forgot for a very long time and I had to remind him and I still watched him go around and do everything else for a while before finally bringing it to me. And it was just a shot. However it was also pretty busy and he did seem like they had him running around so i understand forgetting the drink for so long... I just think business shouldn't affect taking a second and paying attention to your customers when they are asking for things instead of brushing them off in a hurry.

Food was good. Service was good. Server was just a bit slow bringing us the machine to pay, and I've definitely had faster drink service. But it wasn't slow by any means. I will say their classic lager was very good. Extremely smooth and easy drinking, a bit more mellow than your typical lager. The fries and onion rings on the French Dip were excellent. French dip was okay. The au jus didn't seem to have that much flavour. The meat just tasted like lunch meat roast beef, which wasn't the worst but doesn't exude quality either. Aside from that, I love the building and the aesthetic. They have a pool table! Which is nice. Definitely a gem in Penticton. Will be coming back to try the best burger in the Okanagan πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ‘. Would 100% recommend this place to anybody.

Some friends and I came for Karaoke this past Wednesday and our server Melissa was just lovely! She was funny and kind and was on top of things all night. The angus burger was THE best burger I have had in well…maybe ever. Not even kidding. Juicy (yet not too much so) and dressed up perfectly with spices that complimented so well. Mmmm 🀀 The karaoke was a lot of fun also, The unassuming host opened things up with a big booming rapid fire kinda radio announcer voice. So fun! And he was even and fair with his rotation of singers 🎢🎡 I love the vibe here and will for sure visit again when I come back to the Okanagan. Thanks Barley Mill!

Upgraded to the brew fries and they were not crispy at all and did not seem battered, they're like regular fries which was very disappointing. The power bowl was healthy and okay, but way too much spinach. The waitress was very friendly and chatty with other tables who were clearly "regulars" at this place, but she barely spoke to us other than taking our order. We just stopped for dinner while on vacation here. The burger is apparently #1 in the Okanagan but it did not live up to this at all. Everything was OK, not terrible, not amazing. It's nice that they have lots of gluten free options.

Great Local spot, play pool inside with Keno and pull-tabs or sit outside under the misters. Had a long Island iced tea and wings for wing Wednesday, both were great as always. Been here probably 50+ times and always leave happy!

I love coming to Penticton for my birthday every summer. We always make sure to spend an evening here for dinner and karaoke 🎀 Lisa is an amazing DJ and always makes it a good time! I highly recommend checking this pub out.

We went there on Tuesday evening for dinner with friends from the west coast. We go there for years with friends for the Wednesday wing special and other days. Tuesday we found a table outside in the shade. The waitress asked us to move because we where sitting with 4 people on a six chair table. She went inside and came back with a reservation card. There were more bigger tables available and we saw 2 people sitting on a 6 chair table. We talked to the manager but nothing was done. We left and don't go back for a while. Normally good service and the food is great.

Good service. Food is alright but nothing too exciting to write home about. Karaoke is fun there though. Lots of good vibes.

Been going for over 12 years. Great service, good food and pleasant atmosphere! Will continue to enjoy their hospitality.

The manager was exceptionally rude. Apparently a table was reserved although there was no reserved sign. After sitting down the manager rudely snarled that no one could sit there as it was reserved. It would have been so easy to say "I'm sorry but this table is reserved so please let me help you to another table". But apparently being rude to seniors is more his cup of tea.

Made a detour just to eat their spinach salad with cajun chicken...twice in 4 days. Wonderful Pub, great service, reasonably priced. Whether a tourist like me or a local that's the place to go and eat.

Went here because I have eaten here before and it was pretty good. This time, the fries tasted moldy, thought it was just me so tried eating a couple more and the taste was really strong so I asked the other person dining with me to try one and they tried it and spit it out as well. At the point, I was scared to eat my food so I forgoed the second half of my sandwich and all the fries, I already ate the first half of my sandwich before trying the fries. Server seemed disinterested she did give a 20% off but it took her forever to even come to my table to check on us so I just sat there watching my friend eat while my stomach turned. Side note the fries were also cold and not crispy kinda stale but I didn't really care the moldy thing is what really got me. I'm not sure what happened because I've eaten here before and I really enjoyed it. I don't think I will eat here again. I think I would have been more understanding if a solution was provided but she just kinda said okay and took my plate away.

Dec. 10/22 - Saturday night, karaoke. Not too busy from 8 pm to 10 pm. Our server was initially friendly, but her weariness got the best of her. After being treated like a hassle in her day, we did as little as possible with her. Consequently, we decided against any food. Environment is otherwise comfortably designed. Great place to meet folks for one drink. Perhaps we will try again on a different night, when the "friendly" waitress isn't on duty.

Stopped in for a beer and a bite while on holidays. Prices are a tad high for what you get, but everything is going up. Aimee did a great job serving us. 15.00 for Potatoe skins and 16.50 for rib bites is a bit overpriced IMHO. However, drink prices are reasonable. Yes we will return next year.

First time visiting. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Drew, the bartender was rad. He provided Quality service as well as being attentive to everyone else. Food wise. I can make a damn good French dip myself …so I asked if I could buy one and take it home , deconstructed.. they said yes... And oh my lanta was it delicious. The jus , the tender roast beef. The red pepper aioli. 10/10 would recommend Overall great first experience.

Wonderful location. Excellent staff and a bug thank you to Nicole. Her assistance in keeping the orders straight during our families Engagement celebration, was amazing. We had a blast. Best nachos in town.
