I booked less then 12hrs ago made a error on my dates and the owner refused to refund my full amount, i know policies are in place 7days before booking but in this case its crazy to not refund someone over a mistake. Not kind at all. As a buisness owner myself i would have refunded the client the full amount. will never stay here and will share this story. Fyi i never have left a bad review in my life first time and this one is deserved.

The owner runs this motel and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Our room was spacious ( the size of most Vancouver apartments ). Very comfortable beds, extremely clean, full kitchen, nice bathroom. Great view of the mountains. A couple of tiny things that we asked about were dealt with immediately. This motel is older but very well kept. The owner does not have a policy based attitude like most places these days and he was more focussed on the best interests of us as guests. Great location as well. 1 1/2 blocks to the river and the beach. We will be back!

If this is the same motel as Days in the stay was great. We had clean rooms clean towels what else do you need. All the coffee you want.

Was awful went there with a friend and when I went to pay for the room the guy said my card declined so ask if I could go get cash he said yes when I went to go get the cash I realized my card was charged $300 so I called the motel and the guy told me to call my bank and I should get my money back into my account it’s been 4 days still haven’t seen any money back in my account when I went back to the motel to get my money back the guy said my card declined and that I should get my money back today never have I even waited this long for my money to come back for any other motels or hotels and I didn’t even stay there and the guy still refused to give my money back THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!

The first item to note is the quality of room. While the room is nicely maintained, it has an old world charm. As in, you would see this sort of a room in a 50's or 60's crime drama movie. Cigarette burns on the carpet would complete the experience. Front desk service is good. Please feel free to inquire about deals or discounts. For the most part, their desire to keep you content is encouraging. The major redeeming quality is the location. While it isn't located on the waterfront, the close proximity is the real value. As well, there are varying quantitiesof different food offerings. Everything from organic foods to inexpensive chain food pizza. Despite the room quality, I would choose this motel again

There is nothing like having your bathroom sink in the bedroom next to the microwave, coffee maker, and blowdryer. (The coffee maker and microwave would short out) Wrong electrical plug to have next to water. Table and chairs in front of t.v. The bed was hard, and the air conditioner was loud. Don't stay here.

They are renovating so new rooms are decent value for now. Clean, kitchenettes, decent wifi and AC. Around the corner from the action so a bit quieter. Got the sense they're trying hard to get everything up and running soon. Appear to be longer term tenants onsite but no issues. Worth checking out. Has a pool and in hot weather won't expect it to get quiet until 11 or so but hey it's a resort town. Like most places in the OK suggest you confirm rates. Internet offers don't seem to be accurate.

Staying in the Execitive Suite #49 This place is awesome!!! So big and spacious. The air conditioning works very well. We have a huge private deck with our own BBQ. The location is perfect, just 2 minute walk to the beach. The guy at the front desk is so polite. I highly recommend the Riverside Motel. I will be coming back again next summer.

The owners of this business have made some real positive changes, but there are some simple things they could do that would help. The bed was comfortable with clean linens... great! But there was hair from the previous guest in the bathroom. Our door did not deadbolt so I did not feel as safe as I should have. There is a fairly well stocked kitchen but we're given used and dirty sponges to clean up. There was a very dirty upholstered arm chair that either needs to be cleaned or removed. It took away from the cleanliness of the whole unit. It was quiet, pool area was clean and very nice. No WiFi!

***Update #2*** We had a wonderful stay here in late July. This review would normally be 5-stars because it was perfect in every way for our family of 4. I would suggest you bring your favorite pillow (we had 5 pillows in our room for 1 king and one queen bed ... I like more pillows myself). We also only had one sauce pan in our kitchen, but bringing our own air fryer and using their BBQ worked out well and we were there for a week. You will never beat this location. It's across the street from the riverfloat, skateboard park (massive) and Locolanding. Okanagan Lake and beach are a block away, and it's closest to the Wibit for the kids. Our only issue was we were double charged for the room. But, we worked with the motel and had one of the two charges reversed. Overall, we will return here for another stay in the future.

Clean and comfortable room, sheets were clean as were pillows. Fresh linen and extra for the pool. Clean bathroom and kitchen. We stayed in a king suite. I liked the pool, it was warm. Very close to the boardwalk and thus not a long walk to other things. We walked to the farmers market in less than half an hour along the boardwalk. Very friendly hosts. For a motel, the rooms were small but had everything we needed. Thank you!

Just had a wonderful stay. This place is such a fantastic place for families. We have visited many times and always enjoy. The owners are great!

This place is situated smack dab between the beach and the canel...5 minutes from a float to Skaha or to Lake Okanagan. It is very clean and run by a lovely family. It's an older style motel.

This place is great. The room was comfy and clean, it had a well stocked kitchen, and the staff were friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

It's an awesome place 👌 to stay in!!! Very convenient location, plenty of parking spots! Very well maintained rooms with AC! Heated swimming pool, free wifi, barbecue and others. Love it very much!!!

older but excellent condition and clean! perfect location, good family atmosphere, rooms with kitchens and every small detail necessary to make trip smooth right down to an ice machine by the pool, very well operated

The pool and the location are awesome! The rooms are dated but totally good enough. The only thing is the broken patio door but we made it work. Some quick fixes and Renos would make a big difference 🧳🧳👍👍

Perfect location , 2 minute walk to the beach . The rooms look like they are well taken care of , you can tell they have been putting work into the motel , nice tile in the shower , hard wood floor and freshly painted exterior of building. Kitchenette had everything you need , plates , frying pan , coffee machine etc etc .. My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights , I would definitely stay again , if your looking for an average affordable place to stay , this is your place.

Excellent place, location and staff. We had to leave our bicycles and gear as we needed to make a 4 hour return trip to Kelowna to get our car. They did not charge us extra. Rooms well cared for. Might suggest a broom and dustpan however. Great location. Stay here, you will not be disappointed. Why waste your money in the other overpriced places when this place has all you need at a reasonable rate.
