BEWARE OF BED BUGS!! I stayed in room 104 from June 10-12, 2022 and my partner and I experienced bedbugs while staying in the room. My whole arm is full of bed bug bites. When I tried to ask for a refund, the owners refused. Stay away!

For years we have been staying at this Motel. Previous to this year excellent customer service, clean rooms etc...This year worst customer service we have ever experienced. They were unable to accomodate a reservation we made in March, amenities not available .... No notification prior to our arrival. Worst part...they don't care. You guessed it...we WON'T be back and we will let all our friends and family know as well. The reservation was not made under this name and yes 100% sure it was this property

Was upgraded to a kitchenette room, very spacious with separate bedrooms. Fairly clean although room had a very stong smell of incents. If you plan to sit by the pool, beware that the smokers lounge area is right next to the pool, which is underwhelming.

We have been coming to this motel every July for few years. We are a very big group of people with all of our parents and young kids. Half of the group comes from Vancouver, half from Calgary. When we come we occupy half of the motel, sometimes more. Girls that help to clean the rooms are a blessing. They always come and double check if we need something. I’m very grateful to them. Staff is good and welcoming. Owner of this place was rude to us few times, as he didn’t like kids running, or this or that. But as I said we made it work between each other and enjoyed having our annual vacation every year there. This July however not so much. We had 2 extra rooms booked for our friends who were not able to come and I called motel and I canceled those 2 rooms in advance. Turns out they never canceled it. And owner told me it’s my responsibility to actually call back and double check their work. Which I said will never happen. I have life as well and it’s your staff’s responsibilities to this job right. In one of our rooms fridge did t work from day one, we had to throw out food worth of couple hundred bucks and then we got accused of breaking it. We had to clean tables in the gazebos before we could eat after people before us daily. Jacuzzi didn’t work, pool was closed for 2 days, puddle boards were stollen from the truck. And we never ever complained about anything. Cleaning lady came to me when we were leaving and said thank you for such a clean rooms. Even tho owner called us horrible, dirty, noisy, rude people🤦‍♀️ I could take all that but when he called our kids bad behaved I lost it! So long story short. Many small issues here and there, we never complained, I did my homework canceling one month prior, we never got upset and asked for reimbursement that pool and Jac were not working. And at the same time I got treated by owner like a piece of garbage. He knows us well. Not cool what he did to us this July. Family vac was spoiled completely.

We were charged for the entire visit prior to even seeing the room! Once we saw the room we were not pleased, asked for an upgrade and was told nothing available. I was never given a deposit confirmation via email when first reserved. I was accused of losing it. The AC was so loud was difficult to sleep. The floors were dirty and when brought to managements/owners attention he denied same even when it was proven. The person I was dealing with I asked if he was the owner to which he replied "yes" and when I asked for his name he refused. The coffee maker switch disintegrated upon first use; obviously old and was pretty much accused of breaking it. The management was rude and accusatory and have zero customer service skills. The only positive thing I can say is that it's close to Skaha Lake.

The location is a 5/5 with walking distance to Skaha beach, ice cream shop beside, and restaurants around. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The price is good for what you get with the pool and bbq area, but room and pool area could have been a bit cleaner / updated. Overall, would recommend!

This room included other people’s hair in our bed. Don’t look in the corners, they don’t clean there. Dirty McNasty, I couldn’t wait to leave, we left early :(

This family owned business is amazing. The place is clean, friendly and very accommodating. The new upstairs section is beautiful and very spacious. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay only minutes walk from the water this should be your first choice. We will be coming back

Just one day stay , but overall looks ok ,especially location .Waking distance to the beach ! The rooms is old fashion style, and cheap equipped but what to expect from $160 a night at peak season in Penticton ?! I would make a suggestion to the owner ,to put electric cattle ! I couldn't make a tea or hot instant soup . Caffe maker, was with just one caffe pad ,which was enough for ,just half a cup of weak coffe. Microwave was useless for me ,since it's not healthy . Room clean, bathroom ok ,clean towels. I didn't like the bed cover ,it did remind me my military service 39 years ago! Room 106 AC strong, outside small pool and barbecue for common use an asset .Not recommended for longer stays.

We stayed on the ground floor which hasn't been renovated yet. The room has the basics you need (kitchen, bed, washroom). Sadly the sheets were stained, the corners were dirty (had spiders and webs), and the pillow smelled horrendous as if they're never washed. I asked for the sheets to be changed and when I came back, they were the same. The hot tub was also drained so no jacuzzi. Location is great. Sadly, that's the only plus!

we have gone here every year for 3-4 years now. perfect walking distance from the skaha, as well as ice cream, sushi, and other stores. Everything is great, from the friendly staff to the cute gazebos and the comfortable beds. Love this place.
