Nice property with potential, but several problems. The water in the shower is scalding hot! Their card key system is strange - they will not issue a 2nd card and you have to turn the card in each time you go out and then wait to have a new one made each time you return. Really? Very annoying. Our room (405) had bar/disco noise until early morning every night. Would not stay again, many better options in the area.

Friendly staff, very helpful, comfortable accomodations, it only needs a pool to make it an excellent place to stay.

Very nice staff, breakfast isn't bad. There was some strong rain and water leaked into the room through the floor. Wasn't able to plug in HDMI to tv because they block it off.

Relatively new clean place, close to both the main Carnival route and the Estadio Romelio Martinez, where they have the music festival during the Carnival. Given the good value they offer, I would highly recommend to stay there during the Carnival, unless you are too sensitive to noise: the walls are not thick enough. Otherwise a great budget hotel with a good breakfast and exceptionally attentive staff. The manager spoke English (in Feb 2016), which was another plus.
