I live in Barranquilla and I have to admit that Buenavista is the most upscale, most happening mall in the city. I love the selection from everything to clothing stores, to restaurants, to just places to take friends and family to socialize and have an amazing time together. The energy here is amazing and for sure this is the most popular, upkept mall in the city. The amount of restaurant selection is staggering. Everything from steak, to Chinese, to Mexican, there is a restaurant to fit every palate here. Highly recommended!

Nice with A/C (there's A/C in the mall and not just in the individual stores). Relatively safe in that your chances of taking out money from an ATM and not getted robbed by the time you get home are good, certainly better than here in Soledad.

Really like this mall. The food court on the top floor is amazing with so many good options, it's difficult to choose. Lots of good stores as well as banks and ATM's. Home Sentry and Carrula are there as well for added convenience. Nice Christmas displays and Carnaval displays.

Christmas Eve in this mail is fantastic, even though there's a lot of people, you have a good time there. Enjoy different foods, buy clothes and shoes, take your kids to the attractions park.

It is the most complete shopping centre in Barranquilla. As most people in Barranquilla like to go to a shopping centre as a family day out, here you have everything you need. A great cinema (although not as good as the one in VIVA) great good on both food halls.

Huge shopping mall with three buildings and at least 3 floors in each. All three buildings have at least 2 food courts each: the "fast food" and the "classy food". I'm sure you can guess which food courts have the better-seasoned options 😉 I saw at least one movie theater in this shopping center, but there might be a second one, it would make sense. I found it was easy to get overwhelmed and overstimulated while inside the shopping center. Seeking directions or recommendations was as simple as approaching any of the multiple unarmed security guards peppered all over, and asking them politely. For me they always seemed eager (or at least capable) to help an extranjero out. However - just like with any other interaction in Latin America - knowing some functional phrases in Español (upper A1 level) makes things markedly easier. I was glad to see that this mall has at least a couple of hobbyist, gaming, action figure, and manga shops for me and my fellow nerds. I've not yet explored much of BuenaVista mall, so I might update this review later. For now I see no reason for anything less than 5 stars. As of this review, face masks are optional. The mall staff and many shoppers still wear theirs, but many people aren't anymore (or just wearing them over their mouths only). Quick tip: The HomeCenter is right next to the BuenaVista mall. Getting a taxi or InDriver from outside of HomeCenter seems much easier than from the mall entrances.

I love this shopping mall. It is very big, chic and beautiful. It has 3 malls (sections), connected by elevated tunnels. There's a wide variety of stores, from the most recognized brands, local and international. Several food courts with exquisite fresh food and a variety of restaurants and large parking area. This review is for the latter part of my 3 city travel in Colombia, Barranquilla. I stayed at the CROWNE PLAZA right across the street, the BUENAVISTA mall in Riomar. It has all types of stores, a supermarket, and 3 different sections separated by walkways. Each has 4 or 5 floors. The architecture is amazing. Everyone is friendly. The dollar exchange is very favorable. I used my Amex card because the exchange was the stock exchange versus getting it in the open market, which is usually anywhere from $500-$700 pesos. It's not much when you calculate, but it adds up. Makes a big difference. I was pleasantly surprised with all the Malls I visited in Colombia. The structures, the panoramic views, the cleanliness, and more importantly, the people were friendly!!

Exceptional Barraquilla mall that offers great selections and some good deals. In addition the mall has many bars, restaurants and coffee shops; even gyms, banks and much more. If you come to Barranquilla the Buena Vista mall is the place to be.

This is pretty upscale local mall in Barranquilla with variety of stores and brands, lots of food options, cafeterias, fast food, ice cream and more. Easy access to buildings across the street through connecting bridge - wonderful and innovative idea! El Mercado offers many food options - local Colombian, Arabic, Italian, American and much more! Good shopping and dining experience!

3.5 is more correct rating. Big commercial area. Varied stores. Anchor chain stores are Jumbo, Home Center and Cinemark. Open spaces. Small foodcourt. Small 2nd floor with some more stores like Movistar.

Another decent Colombian mall. This was 3 malls in 1 with connection points. The first two malls were the older malls and had outdated food courts and the third mall had the new shiny stuff. I wasn't a big fan of their food courts with the quality as that's all I really go into malls for is the food courts, creativity of the architecture and overall fengshui that gives people the good feels moving about. OVERALL: 4.0 Food Court: 4.0 Architecture: 4.0 Mall Fengshui: 4.0

Centro Comercial Buenavista is a typical mall in Barranquilla. No different than what you'd find in America- the mall is huge.
