A lot of sculptures dedicated to the carnival, great experience, some cafes and restaurant is around.

The development of the zone is still a work in progress. The place has a lot of restaurants and a few bars with an excellent view to the river. The place is very good to spend the evening with amazing river views. The restaurants are good however the place lacks options for coffee. I hope that the zone when it is fully developed, offers a lot more options on food, bars and coffee. The maintanence is good and the place is clean compared to the rest of the parks in Barranquilla. The statues of the caimen are a fun to watch.

A good place to rest. You can find restaurants, toilets and cafes. Also there are places for children. In weekends there can be parking lot problem but in weekdays, no problem. It was a suprise that there was an Arabic restaurant it's called to be Turko.

Nice place to stroll in the city, it has a lively scenery and it is ideal to spend the evening as there are many people walking or exercising.

Barranquilla is a city which lacking of mountains, so this place allows the locals to stay in the city and the most important point, in family, the people can see the Magdalena river walking around the malecon and enjoy the events of the mayor for the people entertainment. It’s new because it has around two years approximately of the inauguration so the people must care this great place to allow the future generations to enjoy it too. It’s located over the Magdalena river, nearby the Via 40.

Decided it would be a good idea to get my run in and check out the Malecon in the middle of the afternoon in the BAQ heat. Needless to say I was the only soul out there in the sweltering oven. It was still being developed and wasn't as pretty as I thought it was going to be. There was a good number of restaurants at the beginning of the Malecon that looked tasty.

Very relaxing, especially during December times when it's windy... try to go when it's not too crowded though.

What a beautiful place! You must to come here if you visit Barranquilla! There's a wide variety of restaurants and cafes.

Great view of the magdalena's river and amazing place to relax ...... and multiple events ...

Went here from about 9-10:30pm. Felt very safe. Is a fantastic promenade full of families and couples alike. To avoid the crowds in the Caiman food center (mid way), I enjoyed a beer from one of the outdoor vendors.

Very nice place to spend the afternoon. Great views of the Magdalena River and many snacks and typical treats to eat. It is under development and hopefully soon will be an even better experience.

It's a good place to relax and have fun. It is a popular place. There are many people visiting that place.
