Worst accommodation in Perth. Even backpackers would flinch at the stench when opening the front door. Room was dingy and bathroom tiny. Cat would struggle to get in, let alone swing.... Should not be on booking. Com

I worked here for 1 week and I have seen the worst things. The accomodation looks nothing like the pictures, it is very old and the rooms are dirty. Only the „good“ rooms (still worse than the standard should be) are getting sheets that are not completetly stale. The bedcovers do not get changed when „the person only spent one/two nights in it“. The owner (a very old lady) tends to overreact and is very confused. Also there was a giant pile of smelly trash right in front of my room which has not been cleared away for months.

It is dirty!! I didn't feel well in this place. I tried to talk the female boss but she just started screaming. She is crazy! Never again! I heard from a lot people that they were not happy with this accommodation.

Very nice, clean and quiet accommodation at a good price, the owner is very nice and very accommodating. I haved stayed here for a week on 3 occasions and have not had any problems.

This place is the WORST!!! Don’t go there, believe me, it’s not worth the money. Very dirty floor and the bed sheets smell like they never got changed!!! I even had a dead mouse in my bathroom. I would give 0 stars if possible.

There was never anyone at reception and the hours are extremely limited for when someone is suppose to be there (just 2.5 hours per day). So, in my 3 day stay I never saw any member of Management and couldn't get a wifi password. I also had to borrow a phone to call for check-in due to a lack of Management. Really strange place. Wouldn't stay again.

It's okay if you don't expect much. The building is beautiful and historic. It gave us more room than a hotel in the city. The proximity to Chinatown is a plus if you like Asian food and culture. Unfortunately the crockery and glassware was filthy on arrival and there was one towel for two of us. It's comfortable, and if you have some of your own stuff, as we do, then it's fine. I needed a decent size fridge so I could do our lunches and dinners, and it definitely had that and a clean bathroom.

Got here without any ID cause it got all stolen. The owner was so kind and booked me in so I can get a new passport the next day. Two other hostel rejected me...

Wonderful stay ay North Lodge. The rooms were large and well appointed. Perfect location. Apartment style rooms were a pleasant surprise. Good facilities. Definitely recommend.

Rooms are definitely cleaned by someone who has no love or pride in their job, unfortunately. It was disappointing to have such a low level of care, especially when you get a review like mine! The old building it self is lovely, again unfortunately the floor boards and stairs creak terribly! I'd requested a room with a verandah option, but didn't get told I wasn't getting it, so disappointed with that. Food scraps left in fridge, cutlery still dirty. Just not a good thing to say unfortunately. Sorry Northlodge, I won't be back.

Fantastic location while I was travelling for work. Walking distance from the city centre and many food places. Owner was friendly and happy to answer my questions. Room itself was spacious and comfortable. The building itself is slightly older, but was not an issue.

Really lovely place with a friendly staff and the location couldn't not be any better. Close to the museums, library and restaurants like in Northbridge.

Possibly over priced for whats on offer. Rooms are dated and pretty basic. Aimed mainly at fifo workers.

Francis was lovely and always available, beds were comfy and good shower, bit low for my tall daughter but perfect for me😁and what a location, we’ll be back👍

I loved my stay at North Lodge. The building is slightly older and has a quaint feel, but that doesnlt detract from the comfort and warmth. Frances is a wonderful manager. Very affable and welcoming! She's quick to offer up some tea, advice for traveling around Perth, and is also very flexible. I received a large, quiet room for my stay; it was furnished with two beds, a TV, electric kettle, refrigerator, microwave, and private bathroom. The price also cannot be beat. Very pleased, and if I am in Perth again, I will most definitely be staying here.
