Plez Improve your service, food is totally very nice & tastey!

Great Coffee in Chennai. Still maintain their standards. They provide fantastic decoction in the name hot shots.

This is not a review of Restaurant, I am writing about my experience of 1.5 years in chennai in 2009 and during that time how I got connected to this simple restaurant. It started with just finding affordable good quality food in this area and it became routine after few days. Food is just normal food which you will get in thousand restaurants in chennai but at that time the staff was so whole heartedly , I felt like i am eating at home. And that too being Gujarati , Finding home in chennai is surreal experience. I still remember all the small details of staff used to do to please their customer. believe me we never talk much but they used to get everything without me not talking and they understand me as customer. You dont get that anywhere. This post is just a tribute to all the people who was working, who are working and who will be working here that I still remembers everyone smiling face and I still remember last day when I almost got tears in my eyes while parting with amazing Staff this restaurant had. I wish all of you people great life and Pray for you guys. I probably dont remember each one of your face but I remember your pure heart and enlightening smile which used to make my day brighter everyday. Thanks for being there to help me remember good memories in chennai. I dont have any photos but i dont need it. Stay Blessed.

There is no menu on the table. Only partial menu is written on the wall. It is self service. The cashier does not show interest in telling us the food options. The cashier said there is nothing left so I ordered curd rice. After getting curd rice another customer ordered chilly barota which is not mentioned in the wall half menu.

Hot chips was a restaurant I would take my friends and family for breakfast when they visited Chennai during 2010 to 2014. Now the restaurant has changed a lot and this particular branch has fallen to the depths. Employees seems to hate what they do, the quantity of chutney& Sambhar is so little and the busy vibe was the only legacy that remains. Hope the franchise looks into their services. Food taste was very good.

Needs to be more clean ...It will be good if they include more items in the menu.

Had the worst experience. Found dead cockroach inside dosa. Wouldn't recommend.

I ordered chilly parotto, but they give channa masala parotto also dosai experience was worst

Didn't expect worst experience in one of the good hotels, i ordered chilli parotta, but they gave me a different parotta dish( see pic), parotta was too thick and couldn't chew, raita is made of butter milk and onion (exactly what my hostel gives) total waste of cost, didn't respond well after complaining!!! Overall worst experience ever

Pathetic place to eat breakfast. Such a waste of money . Pls don’t eat their .had a pathetic food and service experience. Even of basic idly , they gave one cold sambar and only one chutney . V v bad

I went by 3.00pm and got a meal from the counter,hence it is a self service hotel. While eating , I was more suffocated by the smoke generated from the the coffee and milk making process within the dinning hall, without separate ventilation. The hot air churning inside the hall, make every one hard to breathe. Health officials shall inspect. Most unhygienic atmosphere.

Ordered through swiggy. Very bad . stale food received today for dinner. Not able to consume state. Kindly look in to it.

Won't suggest this restaurant even when this is the only restaurant Exists in the world. Waste of money the food is not hygiene as well the taste is not good. Behaviours of the people who works here is worser than anything

I Bought Pongal for the first time in this branch. Not so big comparatively to Ashok Nagar Branch, but so clean and hygienic place.

A neat place to have your food. This shop is exclusively for veg food. You will chat items as well. Price comes above average.

Ordered roti combo, Bombay meals, fried rice combo... Paneer butter masala served with roti was sour. Felt like I am eating paneer puli kuzhambu. Local restaurants are serving better food than this.. Quantity was good but no taste no neatness. So giving 3 stars only

Ordered chappati they gave it like parrota.. too hard to break. Too much cost. Taste also average 👎👎

Very poor taste but very costly. They charge 75rs for pani puri and 80 for sevpuri but the quality is too worst. Too watery.

The taste used to be excellent here but now it's only average.. the taste has to be improved and the cost has to be reduced I felt the cost was too high for the quantity and taste provided

Worst customer service and the food quality was not at all good , 2-3 years before it was one of the best place to dine in around Thiruvanmiyur , now there standard was not even equal with street vendors. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED !!

Taste not to the expected level, service poor.

Above average experience for the service.. Food quality , taste and price are as always like any other hot chips restaurant chains. Restaurant has two rooms of which Non AC is of self service and AC restaurant has waiter and person to take orders. But both these food items come from same kitchen. I had onion Uthappam which is of Rs.70. this should help the understanding the price of other food items.. We have North Indian dishes as well. Very rush during peak hours and before/after show times from S2 theyagaraja.

Worst place to eat. Better eat at street vendors than hot chips. Their sambar us too sweet.

Affordable vegetarian restaurant Serving good quality and tasty food with hygiene. Nearby the LB Road and ECR Road Signal. Place to have a quick breakfast in the morning and nights. Menu with many vegetarian main and side dishes.

It was worst experience.. The taste is like in any other hot chips.. But the service not so much.. I would really appreciate if all franchise of hot chips is maintained equally Cons was the service and price

Visited the one in Thiruvanmiyur. They have scaled down the place. Ordered masala dosai, pongal, vadai and coffee. Dosai was very crisp and the masala was excellent! The accompaniments were sambar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney. The firsttwo were good but the tomato chutney was average. They used to serve podis with the dosais pre-pandemic, but not there now. Vadai was hot, crispy and scrumptious! Pongal was runny, gooey and average. Coffee was divine! Best filter coffee in the city!

This restaurant is always busy and tiny one. Located very near to thiruvanmiyur signal and next to cotton house shop. Best place for snacks.

Taste all gone. Masal dhosa and Pongal seems to be very worst taste. Don't know who s cooking ? Coffe taste also not good as previous. Totally not able to give one star also becas that much worst taste but price is very high.

Pathetic, I wish I had given that money spent to help someone for what i had ordered there, the chena masala was watery and boring taste, the pav bajhi was flavorless and the badham milk was the same we make with the mix we do at home, and 33/- for the tiny cup. over all was a bad experience, wouldn't step inside again.

Worst restaurant. No cleaning of floor, table..spoons and spoilt food items scattered everywhere. Meals cost is 135rs but nothing great. Poor customer service , bad taste food. Waste of money. Just avoid. Try opposite restaurant City gate ( seems many were eating. I havnt yet tasted)

Worst place to eat ever. No proper lighting, very less ventilation, unclean tables and plates, very limited menu and moreover overpriced products. We were totally disappointed by such a bad place in the name of Hot Chips. Also, they charge 2 to 5 rupees extra, stating it as GST for every product. In total, if u wanna go to a pure veg restaurant, there are many good ones. Please don't go there.

It was a self servicing Resturant. And it was bad experience. Food is not good. And the men who were working for servicing a food and the counter panel not respecting even the food the were making. The will be a better Resturant for you near by .. cause you're reading this untill this .. that means you're awesome ❤️ ✨..
