Went to this restaurant since it had a good rating even when the Big Veg giants around it had average ratings. The food was good especially the keerai vadai. But their service was amazing, thanks to server named Mr.Raja from Madurai. His smiling face and courteous talks can beat hospitality shown by any 5 star hotel hands down. Tipped him well. Now, Give that man a raise! 👏

I like the food in lakshmi sagar. It is authentic. This week. I Ordered breakfast. I was disappointed. The food lacked it's usual taste. The sambar lacked taste and punch and the iddly was not good either. They have changed their chef I guess

Tips are being demanded here.. Please avoid this hotel.. When we complain about this to the cashier.. They don't bother.. We pay for the food we ordered you are not running charitable organization.. People Never go to this hotel... Giving tips or not or deciding how much to give is our wish.. U cannot dictate on us...

A vegetarian restaurant which serves delicious food. The chutney, especially, is nice. The food is reasonably priced as well. The behaviour of staff was friendly, the utensils are gleaming clean which is a big positive for me. However, do not expect them to be having on offer everything they've put on their menu. This invites the deduction of one star for me.

One of the best Udipi style hotel in Chennai. Must try their Sambar Vadai , it is awesome. South Indian tiffin items are very tasty. Taste their daily special dish and finish it with filter coffee or badam halwa. Serving staff are very kind. It can accommodate only two cars for parking. Budget friendly restaurant.

Today visited this restaurant for dinner. It's actually 1st time. The taste and quantity is good especially the sambar was lip snacking..worth the money. We 4 people went and ordered 3 plates idli, ghee roast, parotta, onion rava and chola poori.. all tasted so good and even my daughter loved it all. Especially the chola poori was damn 👌👌👌👌👌 tasted well with the channa 😋😋😋😋 worth for the money spent.

Not so great food. Taste VS Money is not on equal terms. You actually end up paying more for the kind of food that gets served. Overall experience is not so encouraging to come back another day.

I usually pickup food from here when i don't take home food to office. I think they are run by some trusts and do social service. Their food is tasty, naturally made, adequate quantity and low cost. I highly recommend this simple place for anyone. Valuable mentions: Birinji Rice, Sambhar Vadai, Paruppu vadai.

Very good food at affordable price, it's near by to my house so i had breakfast, lunch and dinner at numerous occasions, my favourite is dosa and Sambar Vada, their Sambar is really good.

We had lunch from this restaurant and must say the quality of service and food is just awesome. If you're looking out for an affordable pure Vegetarian restaurant, I'd recommend this to you. Parking space is an issue but yeah, for their food and service it's a 5 star for me.

Highly overpriced because of the ambience. I had the best plain dosa here. But 75 rupees is a bit too much! Kesari bath was okayish. Other vegetarian meals are tasty.

Simple budget restaurant. Taste is awesome . Everyday they have one special menu . Mini idli sambhar isca must try item . Sambhar is very tasty here.

Those who are authentic vegetarians may love this hotel. I like vegan foods but not too fond of authentic vegan foods. I tried idly n dosa, they are good but sambar is little different from regulars.

Rava dosa is very nice here. Very crispy. But I did not like the sambar as they add some sugar or jaggery in it. If they avoid tat, then I guess its a very good hotel

Wow food. Managed by family. All the south Indian food was classic. We had two dinner and two morning b fast. Cherished all four visit. Vada size extra big. Soft idli. All dhosa also good.

One of the few authentic Udupi restaurants in Chennai. Regularly visit this restaurant for their Udupi style Sambar and grainy idlis. Their kuruma is also delicious. They are extremely generous with chutney and Sambar for takeaways. Service is quick. Rates are reasonable and quality is good.

It’s pure vegetarian hotel. I tried dosa, chola poori, vada and basonthi. It’s high quality sambar and chutney. Kitchen is very clean and staff are well professional. Basunthi is excellent and they have rose milk and badam drinks too. I haven’t get chance to try their Pongal.

I attended a meeting convened by*Thuklaq Readers Club* last Sunday. Good place for meetings/functions with 25-35 participants. Limited cars can be parked. The food taste has to be improved.

This is my first visit here and i liked the overall ambience and the food and the only downside is limited items and that too only South Indian ones. So expect those and go and also the price is reasonable and the food quality is good

Good vegetarian hotel in L.B.Road Thiruvanmiyur, just near to Thiruvanmiyur head post office. Taste average and service good. You can buy gravy alone like veg kurma, panner masala and sambar too 😊 They have average parking slot for bikes and cars. Juices and ice creams also available here. Most try - ghee masala dosa, onion rava dosa, mini sambar idly 😊👌👍

Hotel is well maintained & clean. Serving guys are very kind & keep serving when needed. Hygienic of the hotel is well in that area. Only thing which I got upset on the pongal & vadai, I never had this type of pathetic pongal anywhere. While looking at the ambience I expected basis food. But its seems North east guys are taking care of cooking there. Do take care the quality of the food, rest all good. I appreciate the cleanliness of this hotel.

The food and atmosphere is good. Not too crowded for all days. Service is bit late, sometime you have to wait for quite long time. Waiter are kind of rude, and always asks for tip even you order something small to eat.

Atmosphere was okay okay Food was extremely good reminded me of good old Udupi style food less spice Less oil Podi dosa , parota kurma,semiya brinj, Too good . Only thing is they have only 2 servers for entire service area.need to put few more order takers and waiters.
