A good place to hang out with friends, it is well maintained, neat and has a really good ambience. The food and beverages are a bit on the costly side but are worth it. For the price the quantity of the food given is a little less but then the taste is really good. There are not many vegetarian items available, but they have a good menu of non-vegetarian items. It is not easy to locate, being on the 3rd floor of the building with no clear board or anything and one can get lost trying to search for it. The parking is a bit on the narrow side. They have a snooker table and some indoor game tables you can play in, but when we went the pool table was closed, while the foosball table was available. Overall, a really good place, in Chennai, to have fun and spend some quality time.

This place is a bar till evening and then turns to a pub. I think stag entry is not allowed in evenings. But in general it is a good place to sit and enjoy a drink. The ambience is good and there is sufficient natural lighting and being on the 5th floor, it offers a good view of nearby places. The rates are reasonable and some of the appetizers are delicious such as the Nachos. There is a seperate smoking section with snooker table too. Only issue could be the service in the first half and there was just one person for all the tables when i visited.

This place has a good vibes. Very chill. The bar tenders are very friendly and accommodating. Food was also good. There’s a dance lesson for those who want to learn how to dance Salsa. There’s billiards 🎱. Music is great. Good place to hang out and distress after a very long and tiring day.

In chennai Watson's is my favourite spot to hang out with friends, at the ground floor they have a narrow parking space, you can park your vehicle by your own or valet parking is also available. You have to go upstairs or elevators to go up, if you want music with good chill temperature you can stay inside, if you prefer sports screening and with snooker table you can go to your left side there you are allowed to smoke while your drink. Their food tastes good and mostly chicken is served for non-vegetarian after vegetarian dishes. If you want to buy cigarettes it will be double the cost at the bar, others as beer or cocktail they are reasonable priced. If you want to spend some quality time with your loved ones with a game too, go little early around 5:00pm so that pool table would be available. They maintain the pub very neat and clean even at the smoking area they have very good exhaust system with coolers too.

Perfect ambience for a get together 🍻 Service is great with decently priced menu. They have a wide variety of options in food and booze. They have seasonal special drinks too enquire once before you order. Seafood was not available when we where there😑. Apart from that the food was great🔥. You can go to Watson's in Chennai just for its ambiance. The pictures of different stages of a drunk man welcome you into the restobar. The light is perfect, dim enough to set the mood, but bright enough for you to see your drinks and food. The music playlist was great. If you go there at about 6 pm, you get to hear some slower classics, but as the night goes on you, there is more upbeat music with new DJs performing almost every day. They also have an open bar option for smokers, where they have a pool table as well. The drinks are reasonably priced. Unlike many places that only serve veg and chicken, they have calamari, fish, prawns , and pork options. We ordered French fries, Kudla garlic pork, and the Garden of Love Pizza. The French fries were fried to perfection (the salt was a bit less for my taste). The pork was aromatic and filled with masala and curry leaf flavours. The pizza was soft, with a medium crust and fresh veggies. It was quite refreshing. Manisha, the manager, was excellent. She asked for our feedback, informed us about the ladies night, karaoke nights, the salsa dance days at the bar and when she got to know that it was our first anniversary, she was gracious enough to order us mango punch shots on the house (it was yummy). She also took our contacts in case we had to make reservations. Overall, the bar lives up to its name and fame. This is the place to go if you wanna have a good time in Chennai.

Two stars for friendliness of bouncers, and staff. And good food. Three stars gone for trying to up sell their expensive drinks and not serve what we wanted. Whatever drinks we ask from their menu is not available! No, seriously like we asked for 5 different drinks and all of them were not available! What is available is what is very expensive. All we wanted to do was have a good time with 10-15 beers and food spending upwards of Rs.7000 which is what we spent in another restobar the same night. Instead, we had to leave after three beers and probably won't return again. Such shady tactics is always bad business. I have seen a dozen establishments come, rise, and decline due to such silly shady strategies.

A great ambience set in a prime yet calm locality near Jeeva park. A weekday lunch here with just 3 other tables occupied was a great experience for a person who loves quiet and empty places. The natural lighting from the large windows and the lighter color palette of the walls set this place aside from the other restobars in the city who have exploited the dark and neon ambience. I wanted to try a good hamburger but was disappointed to see more than half the menu not available. I got to try the pepper pork which was a decent affair . The sweet and spicy chicken was typical of a dish from any indochinese restaurant but with a sadder plating. The pizza, though small in size, was bountiful with the toppings and cheese. I've found more warm and friendly staff in the rather sad fastfood chains. They weren't exactly rude but weren't great and friendly either, even though the service was fast and rather smooth.

Came here for a peaceful Sunday brunch and guess what? Found a cockroach in the food! Highly outrageous to even think of the poor hygiene standards maintained!! Definitely not recommend!

The food isn't great, The drinks weren't upto the mark. And honestly speaking the place doesn't do justice to the rating they have got. It's just a okay place. The pizza isn't good at all. And Garlic bread is just a toasted bread that they give. I wouldn't recommend it for special occasions

Beautiful open pub. Good songs and tasty food. Beers are well within the budget. Day time is good for people who want to attend office and chill. Chilli paneer and chicken wings are worth trying.

Got the chance to visit Watson's for lunch with a bunch of friends on a Saturday. Was easy to locate and with ample car parking. There wasn't much of a crowd here at that time with most tables available. There was pleasant music playing in the background. Watsons has several seating options including high chairs, regular table seats with some outdoor seating as well. We didn't opt for any alcohol so can't comment on that experience. The menu had a great spread and all at fairly reasonable prices. For the price we paid for the 3 of us (about 600 INR per head on an average) the experience was pleasant, with good tasting food.

The pizza looked like it was made on top of a bun, tasteless starters. When complained to the waiter, they said that's how the actual dish is. And don't want to talk about the drinks. 85Rs beer is sold for 350. Pitcher costs 3000. I've had cheaper beer at the heart of Koramangala in Bangalore. Visit only for the atmosphere.

A typical pub serving good food typifies Watson's. The music was too loud to my liking ang had restrictions for stags on that particular day. Had to pull a few strings to manage entry.. However be mindful of the prices.. Not for the light wallet parties..

Team lunch experience in Watson’s was WoW😍 good ambience, songs at the background and food in our table, we enjoyed it. Initially I thought it wouldn’t be great for lunch, but it’s not the true. Non drinkers and foodies can have good food with photos all around 🤪 Samrat & Arul both handled us well from ordering to billing, it was smooth and quick. Recommended items : Match made in heaven, Beef pizza , Hyderabadi chilli chicken, onion rings, Chicken fried rice. Pasta was not good. Samrat bhai also confirmed on Halal meat being procured and served inside. Post lunch we had good time playing snooker ,foosball & clicking pictures 🥳

Additionally, the food took a lengthy 30 minutes to be served. The overall service was subpar, and despite expressing our dissatisfaction, they still charged us a service fee. Although the manager assured us that improvements would be made, the organization needs to address these issues systematically. I would not recommend visiting Watsons based on this unsatisfactory experience.

Ambience is good. Need to place orders from our phones itself. We had garden fresh pizza, veg alfredo pasta, chilli crispy corn, french fries and long island icetea. Crispy corn is a must try, Veg alfredo pasta was really nice but garden fresh pizza wasn't that good and for fries ketchup wasn't provided only mayo, so the fries tasted very bland. Long Island icetea was good, ice didn't even melt for an hour. There is a seperate smoking dine in place.

The place is a must visit when in T.Nagar, Chennai if you want a place to relax and spend good time. As the restaurant states, it is exactly a neighborhood bar with good food/beverage/liquor and a professional staff. Loved the visit here, the music is good, variety of collection, one can enjoy their time here with friends or even when you have to work. As a Restro-Bar, the place is really well maintained situated at a very accessible and not so busy place geographically. They have separate sections divided into smoking and non-smoking as well. Only point I would say is, for non smokers going through the smoking room for using the lavatory is somewhat claustrophobic(Men&women toilets are in that part of the restaurant). But that is only if there is a group or many number of people present at the smoking side of the Restaurant. Edit : A Note for the users reading this review, The quantity of items in the non-veg menu is kind of less in comparison to veg and especially when the price of non-veg items are priced on the higher side(obviously). That's all that I had to add.

You get loads of oil in food..stale music..worst beer..limited brands(only british empire)..mostly local..they hv a good space which their owner have just killed..and the DJ..oh my god..local singers in train have better sense of music..the DJ was playing these salsa music at the loudest level..he wud play it on laptop and leave..all crows crowd this place.. @Naresh operation manager of Watson Chennai. He's the best person i met. I recently visited there and there was karioke night . I even sang there. It has best ambience and nice experience of mine. Everyone should visit this pub. It is also opened after 12 pm. After 12 pm you can get flaming shots and cocktail 🍸. There are shots after 12. There is no fees for stags and you must first reserve your table on weekends because it is very at that time.

Met an old friend here last weekend. Loved the relaxed ambience of the bar. The prices are decent and not overly expensive. It's a comfortable place to hang out with your friends. There was a cover charge on the day we went which gets adjusted in your bill but then if you wanted to drop by after a long day's work to have 1 drink on your own you may find the cover charge a bit of an issue. Also, there are no chairs at the bar itself; there are tables around the bar but no bar chairs at the bar which kinda makes you think they don't encourage single visitors. Also, the music is a bit loud for having intimate conversations. They are treading the line between a lounge and a restaurant and not quite landing it right. Nevertheless, people seem to like the food, ambience and drinks; so perhaps they are doing something right.
