This is my most Favorite restaurant in T Nagar . Totally love their BBQ food which a wide variety of starters, main course , deserts and the free drinks. If you have to visit Absolute BBQ you should always skip your breakfast and have a Brunch directly in the restaurant coz with just the starters you will be overloaded 🤪🤪🤪 Price is very reasonable and the taste is also amazing. I think per person it is around Rs 700 and for kids below 5 it’s free. One good thing is since as a group we went with kids and for kids we asked to prepare without spice and they got specially for kids. Very kind and humble serving people. A very big spacious restaurant where you can have a team party too. There is parking available too and they have few chaat items too . So many deserts and all were amazing. Love the quantity that makes you taste all different varieties. And main thing is Restrooms we’re very neat and maintained very well with a scent.

Always my first preference for barbecue foods. Had a great experience on Tuesday dinner. Price was 699+tax which is steal deal always. They had countless variety of foods. Sea food and honey chicken was disappointment this time. Informed the persons over there. But we r satisfied with other items ..

Absolute barbeque has been fav since 2017. Their quality has improved so remarkably and all the food were extremely good. If you have tried before , forget that and go in for a new experience. Highly recommended.

Food items (barbecues) were good. They provide varieties of fish and chicken items. Starters are the main attraction. I liked the sweet corn fry the most. There are other fried items, like fish, rabbit, duck, chilly baby corn etc whatever and as much as you need. On the other hand the main courses were not that good. Yes, there are a variety of items as well, but not as tasteful as the starters. Coming to the dessert section, the items are limited. The quality was good though. Can definitely try more than once. Hard and soft drinks are available a-la-carte. Recommended for those who can eat, so that they can have a bang for the buck.

Worst food, completely unfriendly and uncleanly restaurant with arrogant staffs. All foods are either not fresh or burnt. I was planning for our company's batchwise team dinners thought to drop by before confirming and thank god I did. One of our friends offered dinner at AB's. We reached there at 6.30 pm. It is better to book early. If we reach there, between 6.30-7.00 pm, there is a concession in the rate of buffet. There are enough choices for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. Food items were tasty. Sea food items were also there. Very tasty . Non veg. Items were also very tasty and there were varieties. There was fried sweet corn in the vegetarian items. It was a very delicious item.

It's been a long wait to have food here.. It was a Team Lunch though.. The Dinning hall was something big like 150 people at a time. Arrangements were good in terms of space Starters: Chicken, Panner, Prawn, Fish, Fruits, Mushroom. no mutton starter Signature dish: Potato, chicken kebab, chicken wings Additional: Crispy Corn and Pani Puri Main Course: Non Veg only Chicken biryani,mutton curry, fish curry, egg fried rice etc Live counters: Quail, Shark, Rabbit, Squid Desserts: Gulab Jamon, Payasam, Cakes, Rasamalai, Jelly, Jelabi, Brownie, Icecream Soups: Chicken soup, veg soup, rasam Over All experience is okay but expected more here in dishes as well as taste. The Barbeque’s are really good. The services seem to have gone down post Covid. You need to make in reservation before you walk-in otherwise there is a huge wait time. There is valet parking and elevator facility. It’s a buffet services and there is a live counter. Too much platter to choose from.. they organise cake cutting and small celebration depending on the occasion.

I have visited this place many times. This is a awesome place to try if you like buffet lunch or dinner. Their starters are really good. Chicken Sikh kebab, chicken leg piece and grilled prawns was very tasty. Madras Mutton curry and chicken biriyani was average. They have couple of good dessert options. Never miss ice cream with gulab jamun, payesam. Kartik was our host. He is very cooperative and humble. Thank you AB's 😊

This is my first visit AB's, TNagar. It was a get together with office colleague after 2 years. We reserved table for Dinner and we reached little and late. The atmosphere was excellent, you can enjoy a lot I would recommend this place for Birthday/Family Gathering/ Hangout with Friends. If you inform them in advance or while booking they will arrange things accordingly for your party. On Food, quite lot of varieties for Non Veg. They are serving both Non Veg and Veg. In BBQ, they are keeping those Veg and Non Veg hot sticks separate. Nearly maintained atmosphere and table. You can find Good varities of food / Chat / Desert. Also, they are serving Non Veg and Veg in different colored plates. Black Color Design plate for Non Veg and Green Color Design for Veg. Dedicated person wil be there for Ice Cream/ Sweet/ Chat. So you can the items fresh. Regarding Parking, they have ample space for Two Wheeler but the have limited space for Four Wheeler. But they have wallet parking system so no worries about parking your car.

I tried non veg meat platter by ordering through zomato for Rs758. It had 5 starters.The taste was good but i felt it was a bland because the taste of the masalas weren’t much evident.The chicken tikka was good.Chicken was tender.Chicken wings were also cooked perfectly .Fish tikka was also a great option.Prawns tikka tasted great.The 1 small box chutney and 2 small box mayonnaise was provided along with it.A salad with few cucumbers and carrots were also present along with it.Overall,it was a fine experience.Its good to try for kebab lovers.

IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! Idk whether every other branch works the same. Most of the dish were not good. Only few were tasty and good. They don't have lot of dish as other buffet restaurant as well when I went there. And not everything they mentioned in the menu have not been served/available. Not worth for 880 Rupees

Overall the food is good And the server Mr. Dharmesh is very kind, speed man and treating us like his own guest. That manager also asking us whether the food taste is good or not and he rectified.

Seating arrangements are kind of ok. Staffs are friendly and courteous. Responsive and act accordingly to customers request. Menus are not that elaborate but ok kind. Food has lost its initial days taste. Needs some improvement. Desserts were awesome.

I had been there for lunch. It took more than 15mins for them to arrange and get the starters. So that was a bit more than expected wait time. Apart from that the food quality and service was good. The deserts too took some time to be refilled, we had to ask repeatedly on some of them but later was brought to the table.

It is a great spot to hangout with friends. All the starters were awesome and brownies ,ice-creams and sweets tasted good. Loved the virgin Mojito. Must try fish barbeque and chicken barbeque and crispy corn. But it was kind of noisy in there.

ABS TNagar - As we went there in a public holiday, we were kept to wait for our dine-in about 30-45 mins late from our booking slot time .It was totally disappointing. Their service was very good. Starters were too good. The taste and quality of the starter were good. But we miss honey chicken in the list. They have changed honey chicken to main course dish. So , the availability of honey chicken was difficult to get. We guys really miss honey chicken. And apart from the starters, the main course were very less compared with other barbecues. The Ambience is asusual. Because of holiday, there was some crowd. Hi, We chose this place for a birthday treat and we visited here with prior reservation for lunch buffet on 14th Oct, 2023 as a group of 14. Four of us took veg and rest of them took non veg. As we visited on weekend there were also some special dishes in the menu. Crispy corn and other starters including barbeque were good. There were many options for deserts, salads, main course, live counters for veg, non veg and panipuri. The service was really good. Every now and then, they were asking if everything was ok which was satisfying. 3 of us celebrated birthdays, so we got 2 cakes. The only prblm was the cake, it contains only whipped cream and no sponge cake. Other than that everything was good. As we are students, instead of ₹891 on Saturdays We just paid ₹666 per person for both veg and non veg. If you are a student bring your student id (offer valid only from Monday - Saturday). We enjoyed here! 🎉

Good place, but the quality has degraded. Rush was there, menu hasn't changed. Mutton was not there in the starter may be due to cost cutting. sauce was missing. Place looked very dull and old even chairs have worn off, torn seating. Not worthy as earlier. The grill box on the table is now for name sake. Mostly, all food is cooked and overcooked or burnt, in fact. Place needs serious revist. For a low-cost buffet, it's ok but be careful.

It's a very noisy place and the service is very poor.

All the starters and meat were undercooked and had a very chewy/rubbery feeling to them. 2020 September when the first lockdown was relaxed in Chennai we visited Ab's and were utterly disappointed with the quality of the meat and starters. Today Christmas 2021 again we felt the same it feels like since this pandemic Ab's doesn't care about the quality of its (properly cooked)food anymore.

It's was awesome experience being at Abs. As people say 1st impression is best impression, staff of Abs and entire team stole my ❤💕💖. And finally the cake cutting that was hilarious and Joyful.. Good work team AB's.. I missed such place for Dine-in in T Nagar for so long years.. We 6 people went to 8.30 pm. Waited for one hour but haven't get any proper response. After that started to eat starters, that was only half cooked and half burnt. And there's no spices in it also Got only chicken and fishes, rarely got prawns. Asked him to refill the startes but said wait for 2 mins. Waited for long time but got same response. So moved to main course. Few Main courses(as usual biriyani veg and non veg, some gravys. Coming desert, as usual few cake items and fruits (water melon and papaya). Overall I give 3 stars out of 5.

Even it was a very busy Friday with full of occupants .. It was the promise that they gave us the booked table at the exact given slot time🕣.. hospitality definitely takes up ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. And the taste was also good.. we were asked for the review then and there and cooked as per our needs.. surely recommending Ab's for dinner outing.. loved the experience..

Not worth going to, we asked for a table for 20 people but when we reached we were told we couldn’t even have two joined tables and we had to sit at separate tables, when we asked the people at the reception about it they were quite rude to us and told us that “we did not commit to giving you one table for 20 people”. Food also was not good only good thing was the tangdi kabab. Absolutely not worth going to

My first time in AB’s, below is my detailed review: Ambience: Very good quite neat and clean Food: Main attraction here are the bbqs both veg and non-veg items are supper tasty and there are lots of varieties available. In main course too there are lots to opt for along with various items from live counter Next thing that I loved the most is the “Jalebi” along with others items from desert section Staffs: I found most of the staffs/service boys are from WB and each one of them are polite and humble

The staff where good, and they use to serve us unlimited starters , and also we asked for honey chicken and they where polite to serve us inspite that it was not in the menu , the staff aslo asked if anyone one had a birthday today and they when so good that they prepared a cake specially for , and my family celebrates birthday

This is a buffet where you will get unlimited food for Rs.800/person (You get a discount of Rs.200 if you show your student ID). There are a lot of options here. In starters you have vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, after which lots of veg and nonveg variety in main course too. Both North and South Indian cuisine is available in Main course. You also have pasta, pani puri etc. Then there are a variety of deserts which I'm definitely sure 1 person cannot try everything 😂😂

First time in lifetime had a outing to barbecue restaurant with my family. They enjoyed the time and food. Food were tasty and good. All the available starters and deserts were good. They offer veg and non veg barbecue items, cake varieties, jilebi, gulab jamoon. They offer rabbit, quil and duck apart from chicken, mutton, prawn and fish. We spent more than 2hours and had food and fun. Gravies in Main courses taste differently. We prefer to have Chettinad items in the list.

On the day we visited the elevator was not working and one of the AB's employee offered to help saying the lift is working and we ended up getting stuck in the lift for 15 mins and he had to call someone to operate the lift again bringing us back to the ground floor and my mom in law in a state of panic had to climb up 3 floors to reach the restaurant and the food was also so and so. Conclusion Absolute Barbecue has lost its sheen and service quality post COVID reopening

Went for new year... Had food poison for a week Sea food starters were raw... Every syrup was diluted... Nothing was hot... Drinks r chargeable... Live counters were not good... All starters looked same and were of same orange marinade... So very boring... Sheek kebab was very very spicy The place has lost its charm :(

This restaurant has a nice interior design, and the dining areas are nice. After the starters, the food was not too bad. It is worth the price, but they can improve the taste (I liked the prawn the most). Desserts, particularly brownies, are wonderful here. The main dishes are similarly disappointing as those at every other restaurant. The service was great and if coming for the birthday celebration usually means the restaurant offers you a cake and sings a song for you, we enjoyed it and had many happy moments. Having fun and eating at the restaurant at least once is a great experience

The dining experience is good. The celebratory feeling for your birthdays and anniversaries are amazing. All the grill food are amazing but rest of the buffet is rather dull. The live counters are better but desserts are very poor tasting. On the whole it is a good experience if you are celebrating and are filling up your tummy only on grilled and barbequed things.

The place was excellent. It was crowded but we had already booked, hence there wasn't any problem. Only issue was the AC. But it was immediately switched on and birthday song and cake was arranged....we had great fun. It was memorable. The quality of food and the quantity both were fulfilling...very happy and satisfied

Heaven is this place for foodies who wants unlimited food which is being served as a buffet for those who want to eat veg and can dig in and have a wide rigged in the table and rest you are the boss to serve yourself. The staff were very polite and caring. Service was good. The quality of food needs improvement, especially the items on buffet.. starters were ok. The pasta counter was not organised. Though token was given no one checks who picks the food. We had to wait for our pasta as someone else was taking it from the counter without token. Not very hygiene. Plates kept near the buffet food table weren’t clean. Many customers were using their hands to pick and drop desserts from the fridge instead of using spoons. could see few peoples even eating there using their hands and again taking food from the counter with dirty hands. Staff should be standing there to control this particularly because of the pandemic..
