I was a very good experience when I visited in person.. The food quality was very good. But when ordered online.. It's really a bad experience.. I ordered baby corn Manchurian and shanghai fried rice today.. . The baby corn is very old and food quality is really bad.. I feel they serve good food only in the restaurant and messed up with the takeaway and online orders.. Really felt bad as one of the good vegetarian restaurants does like this..

It's located on the service lane. Parking available for 5-6 vehicles. More than ample amount of seating available. A/C is on the upper floor. Service is really fast so expect to be done in 30-40 minutes at the longest.

It's been so long I went here in person and had food as we generally order in. Of course vegetarians love this place and the food is quite good and they have great variety. The North Indian Thali was quite nice - we had mostly north Indian food this time but all of their food is nice in general. The main problem is parking here as during peak hours, there is a lot of rush and though there is valet, it takes time. Service was good and fast

One of the best restaurant for anytime meal. Had lunch there with family. Loved it and the service was very good. The food was hot and freshly prepared. We had north Indian thaali. So First started with soup and 1 papad. Then our lunch came n thaali had enough food to fill our tummy full. Price was adequate. Later mom and dad had tea and I had watermelon juice. No regrets with this restaurant. Fully satisfied.

Absolutely satisfying and very tasty food. I still remember the pongal I had 15 or 20 years before, and it remains the same. Excellent sambaar. Saravana bhavan and sangeetha are the best, but now Sangeetha stands up on top at its best. I miss saravana bhavan, but Sangeetha never disappointed me.

Our reviews doesn't make a difference here coz Chennaites have promoted this restaurant in spite of all its adversities. It's a tradition for people in the neighborhood to visit Sangeetha for morning coffee and breakfast during weekends. The place is overcrowded and waiters show long faces and absolutely no hospitality. The waiting time for food is too long and taste is below average. The Sambar caused slight indigestion. Prices are exorbitant and waiters are happy to see you leave immediately after paying since there's a long queue waiting for the Table...to consume the normal dosa, vada and Idly which is available everywhere in Chennai!!!

Panner tikka was yummy. Kadai paneer was good, butter roti was a bit more oily, methi roti on the other hand was a tad too dry. Limited meals were decent.

We were there for the Onam Sadhya on the 29 th and thoroughly loved it. Waited upon by a gentleman, who seemed like the owning family by the way he hosted, our Sadhya was a culinary delight. There was a delectable variety of dishes and he explained each preparation and broadly what it contained. Delicious, fulfilling and so authentic. It was a one of a kind Onam Sadhya. For the offering, it s very reasonably priced. We chose this Sangeetha Sadhya over some give star hotel invitations we had and enjoyed it so much!

The food is nice, no doubt! But the service was pretty poor. The people who served had no respect whatsoever and they didn't even look at our faces. There were two chief waiters in particular. We were puzzled because, it is one of our favourite places in the city and we used to get a good reception there. Don't know if it's because of any change in the management. We used to love the place for the food, ambience and service. So, when the waiters don't even want to talk to you properly and act all careless, it does puts you off a bit!!!

Very worst experience. I had lunch recently in this hotel with my son . We ordered limited South Indian meal and not North Indian meal. In South Indian meal they served chutney along with other dishes. The chutney getting smell and some unpleasant bitter taste. Then I called server boy and their manager. This guy telling that smell is coming due to ginger and tamarind paste. This is not freshly made chutney and this one is refrigerated may be two days back they made. I never expected this type of quality they are serving in their hotels.

Received message from Sangeetha hotel during lockdown for home delivery, so on 15April 2020, we ordered breakfast 4 plate Idlies, 6 Nos of Medhu Vada & GheeRoast insisted on only Coconut Chutney & Sambar and the tele-order taking staff promised to deliver as per our request, but got delivery all without Coconut Chutney but with too much hot of red chilli & green chillies ground nut chutney with Sambar, and the ghee roast looked like UTTHAPPAM tasted like half boiled Maida dough. Otherwise the Idlies are usual and Vadas are hopeless. If Sangeetha continue such poor standards then Sangeetha hotel adyar is going for forever lockdown.

One of the best Sangeetha outlets I’ve ever been to .. they food is very good compared to other Sangeetha veg restaurants in city( tried one in OMR and Navalur) hands down this is always the nest in taste. Have to book a table as they are generally crowded but the taste makes you forget the wait time. Service is good. Love their Idiyappam, fried rice , dry gobi manchurian and chilli paratha.

The Adyar outlet is a waste of money. Filthy crowd, noisy place and food is bland and not upto the mark as compared to Egmore or T Nagar outlets. If any other option is there, kindly avoid it.

Sangeetha restaurant is again a famous south-indian breakfast place in chennai like murugan or woodlands or Ratna Cafe. I had their idli, upma, vada & masala Dosai. I must say that the sambar was quite nice with lots of shallots which made for sweet capsules of flavour. The vada was crisp and nice. The dosa was good as well. But the winner was the filter kapi. They roast the beans to a point that there is a slight burnt flavour in the coffee. This flavour feels quite good on the palate and lingers on for quite some time. Lovely ! Last thing. The service quality is exceptional. They keep an eye on your chutney and sambar bowl and promptly refill without you needing to ask. They wear masks and face shields all the time unlike other places where masks are pulled down the nose and it hangs on the neck. Kudos to the team!

Adyar Sangeetha, food always great with excellent customer service but this time I was little concerned as the place was over crowded and Romany staffs were gathering to chit chat in the dinning area. Management should take care this kinda issues during pandemic and covid not gone we are still fighting against it so all our safety very important and unfortunately as dinners we can't have our masks on so please educate and coach your stats on current State governments covid protocols.

This is my frequently visit place during weekends for having lite dinner. It’s unlike other sangeetha/ or Geetham restaurants. Ambience is good, service is good, food taste is good. Round the clock you get all kinds of cuisines. After long time I had fresh mango juice which was very good and soothing.

Had food many times in this restaurant and it has a good ambience, Both North and South Indian Foods are sooo good and must try place. For Lunch Meals are best option.
