I like trying out these age old restaurants around the old areas of Chennai. This is one such place which is serving tasty South Indian vegetarian foods for ages. They serve the Jain sambar along with the soft Idly which was tasty. The Pongal vada is highlight as it is delicious. The Pongal is different than what I have had at other similar places. The coffee was good too. Restaurant is clean. There is only parking for 2 wheelers. Better to go early morning as crowd will be less in the street. During work hours the street will be super crowded and parking even for 2 wheelers will be tight.

It's a hotel existing at this location for decades at Sowcarpet on the side of a busy road. It's very difficult to get a parking space around this area. It's a favorite spot of local people. Ground floor is non-AC and at 1st floor there's a congested AC room. People stand in queue to get a seat for breakfast on Sunday Morning here. Sambar is of great taste. There's a huge North Indian crowd fanbase for this restaurant because of the taste.

Tastiest vegetarian foods I have ever tasted. The hotel is crowded because of the tastiest and quality food. Dosas is the most selling food I guess. I had a wonderful breakfast with pongal, vada and and Idly. Coffee was awesome. Ordered foods served asap. Good food for your price. The price is moderate and you can also order via online food apps.

I took parcel for 4 idly and they gave 1 small pouch each of sambhar and chutney which is sufficient only for 1 idly.

In Sowcarpet went to have snacks during shopping 🛒🛍️. A decade old shop with pocket friendly food and snacks. Tried kichidi,masala dosai,plain dosai and roti. Ambience not that great but food is good. Not many dosai shops in nearby visinity other than chat shops.

I've been eating here since my childhood days. Always the fan of their masala dosa and their sambar, I feel it's the tastiest in the area. This time we ordered Masala Dosa, Medu Vada and Coffee. No disappointment from any of their dishes. Vadas were piping hot. This review is for you guys who haven't visited this legendary place.

Very good restaurant nearby Ekkathuthangal metro station. We had ordered one masala dosa as we weren't sure about the quality. But after trying we liked so much that we ordered another one.

I wish I could give more stars to this place they provide best food with best service and they have the best workers . There's a bonus in this review guys there is a small fafda jalebi shop just near to this place it's a must have desert after a delicious brkfst.

The best place to eat happily in the middle of a crowded road. There are a variety of dosas, all of which are quality and tasty. I haven't eaten anything else. Masala dosa can definitely be eaten. Because nowhere else does it taste like this. A unique recipe. Sometimes there is a lack of space. That's the only thing I see as lacking. Even if 10 people think they should eat together, there is space upstairs. If you are travelling on NSC Bose Road, then definitely eat at this restaurant and then go away. And a great restaurant that doesn't have much of a quality price.
