As described the secret garden,a bit difficult to locate if you are a firs-timer. Pay attention to the sign inside the shopping mall. Take the lift and go to the top floor.Pass the carpark and go back to the shopping mall, you will see a security guard,he will show you the way to take another lift to get to the UR floor. You have to sign in at the reception counter and there is no admission fee for entry. There are different photo spots to have a good photo. But avoid the weekend, people on every corner. The garden is small but have a good variety of plants.

I've been to 1Utama for years now but I've never been to it's Secret Garden located at the Upper Roof floor of the be wing. It can only be accessed through a particular elevator. On the 2nd floor, the elevator is located opposite the Food District food court entrance. It is not a huge garden but it is packed with all kinds of flowering plants. I never knew our tropical climate could sustain so many lovely flowering plants. There are multiple spots for insta fans. Although we visited the garden at noon, there is plenty of shade and water sprinklers to help keep the garden cool.

If you want have a shopping break in the mall, u can come here and walk around. It’s cool to have a small garden in the mall, rare and special in Malaysia’s mall. It’s family and kid friendly zone, but make sure u take good care of your kid, there is small pound there which can be a dangerous.

Great utilization of rooftop space to create a greenery garden in the sky despite the LDP traffic noise. Really appreciate the great effort by the management to maintain the garden and encourage and cultivate the great learning of plant world. I myself bas been a self-learning of indoor plants since MCO and truly enjoying every moment of my visit at the Secret Garden. Put on some UV protection with a sunglass or hat, my most favorite piece has been the snake plant whale-fin, so amazing in size, love them very much.

A very well tended and lush garden on the rooftop amongst the water tanks and other building equipment. Quite large with a lot of plant variety with blooming flowers. Obviously taken care with a lot of love. The garden is spread out amongst the roof structures and extends quite far so you need to find the right path go to the farthest part. Just a couple of friendly suggestions: - It is only opened on weekends now. It would be nice to also open on one or two weekdays so some of us can come on weekdays and avoid the weekend crowds - Those “Instagram worthy” signboards are not needed and look very touristy. These get in the way of a nice photo of the plants. We know it is Instagram worthy without a large signboard to tell us

As tue name suggests, this is a hidden garden on the rooftop. You will need to access this hidden rainforest using the lift between thebOld Wing and the New Wing, and press the Secret Garden button. There are over 500 plant and flower species and it's a good place for photos and to take a break from shopping in the mall. Please take note that the garden is only open on weekends and public holidays.

Get some fresh air and the experience nature just on the upper roof top of One Utama. An commendable effort in greening the environment. Enjoy the different species of plants and flowers and the beautiful landscapes. The garden is only accessible by a dedicated lift and are only opened on weekends and public holiday. Keep out the noble effort. Note: Management should look into the vulgar graffiti on cooling tower on the adjacent building.

We loved this hidden garden on the top floor of 1 Utama Mall. We went around 5pm and there was a nice breeze and it wasn't too crowded. The flowers and different species of plants were beautiful. Many IG worthy photo ops.

Amazing array of plants from all over Asia and the world. Beautifully laid out and well-kept. Highly recommended if you love plants. It's the largest rooftop garden in a mall on Southeast Asia. Do visit!

A good escape for a moment from all the activities at One Utama Shopping Mall to this beautiful and established rooftop garden. They're lush tropical plants, many species of flowers, herbs and succulent plants too. I felt peace by just looking at the tiny fishes in the water with the freshwater aquatic plants. Some of the areas do have a sense of age.

As it's name, is a secret garden where not much people notice. Is a beautiful place and good initiative by the mall management. It should have be promoted and discussed

  • 5/5 Carol Y. 1 year ago on Google
It’s such a nice garden that is well maintained. I went there recently and thank you to One Utama. I must say One Utama and Sunway Pyramid are the 2 malls that did a lot for the environment and nature. Well done. Parents with children should bring them for a visit to expose them to nature rather than letting them glued to computers which is bad for their eye sight.

A hidden gem for nature or flowers lover in One Utama Shopping mall. It's accessible through the lifts at the end of the connection bridge between new n old wing (slightly towards new). It's open on weekends n public holidays while it's totally free of charge. A must go place if you want to take some fresh air n endure in the nature after long shopping hours

  • 5/5 Khusairi M. 1 year ago on Google

  • 5/5 Zulqarnain L. 1 year ago on Google
Really a good place to visit. You will be wandering how a rooftop can become a beautiful garden with varieties of plants. Even a banana tree can grow on rooftop. Open on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays only. Free admission. What One Utama does with rooftop is exemplary.

  • 4/5 Sharon Y. 1 year ago on Google
Went there at night. No fee is needed to enter. Quite dark and creepy at night, tho the whole place is well kept and nice. It is a nice place to stroll with family and friends after dinner. But will recommend to come at daylight to see more and clearly the plants and flowers.

If you feel like taking a ten-minute zen away from the shopping mall to enjoy some greenery, just head onto the Upper Roof Level to the Secret Garden. There are instructions on how to get up to the Upper Roof from the shopping mall, in one of the images posted here. Just be careful as the concrete pavement can be rather slippery at certain spots.

So cool now they have a cafe at the secret garden! It's wonderful to have iced drinks and chill outdoor amongst the greeneries. Feel so calm and relaxed.

  • 5/5 Justine M. 5 months ago on Google
Night time on weekends. Open on weekends n Public holidays. Take lift to UR (Upper Roof) at New wing near Nandos-Starbucks area. Reopened after installing lights for night. There is Yew Yew popup cafe

The rooftop garden above One Utama is a commendable green initiative but lacks professional design. It appears somewhat amateurish with a lack of focus. Overall, it may not be worth the visit, making it a potential time-waster.

Access from the elevator across from Food Republic food court. It is the Upper Roof level which is 7th floor, above the parking garage. The garden is okay. Lots of greenery but not much of flower. Paths are wet with some water puddles after rain. Best to go here at 10am when the mall opens. As with anything else on Instagram the reality is not as nice as the pics.

Calm rooftop garden above the busy shopping mall, but only open at weekends.

  • 5/5 Gavin P. 7 months ago on Google
This urban park has recently undergone a facelift in 2023. The lush greenery, assortment of flowers, strategically placed shaded benches, and a pond with lotus flowers invite weary souls to rest and be restored. Enjoy the chirping of birds and the buzzing of bees which are nature's music to the ears. Air conds are no match for the cool breeze that one can enjoy on the open air rooftop. The greeneries punctuated with colorful flowers are a sight for sore eyes. All these for free and the only payment one can give is to not litter and damage anything as a sign of gratitude.

I've been to the Secret Garden last time when I was 8 years old and there were many plants to see and a lot of trees to be taken with photographs and there were just many fountains and waterfalls if there aren't any fish inside except for the Rainforest.
