I first try beacon's steamed chicken during my medical check up in beacon. From then on, I was enjoying how soft the chicken was with good ginger and chilli dipping sauce. The rice was fragrant so today I convinced my colleagues to try and they enjoyed it! The buttermilk chicken was not bad and I recommend their elderflower drink which was light yet refreshing;)) Pumpkin porridge isn't big in size but it tasted good with generous amount of pumpkin. What's striking to me about this shop is their hot Milo is actually not watery. Thank u! _____________ My second visit was not that great. Milo was inconsistent. The food ordering was lengthy despite I visit on a weekend morning which has no crowd.

Almost full house during lunch hour. Chicken rice was 👍 and we love their chili sauce. Staffs are polite, service is good. Love their hainanese tea too!

Came for dinner on a Sunday, not many people. Ordering is not easy as only QR code. Came because they advertised a special offer on their chicken rice set but found this wasn't on the QR menu and not well publicized, only after asking the staff did they acknowledge they have to be informed if want to have the cheaper set. For a chicken rice specialty shop, they ran out of steamed chicken and only had the roasted one. Similarly when asked for chopped ginger condiment, the staff also mentioned they ran out. The chili was good tough and nice and spicy. Think perhaps the shop should better manage their estimation of ingredients to ensure they offer choice of chicken. Meal was ok, the chicken rice was so so, the buttermilk chicken was nice and flavourful, the wonton soup was very bland as if no salt at all, the curry laksa was watered down, didn't have any lemak or salt again, also not much spice taste and very little ingredient for that authentic laksa oomph. The worst was the service, the poor staff were like running here and there trying to meet everyone's demand, can hear the next door table also complaining how come menu items also not available and not the first time. One waiter when asked about things also seems couldn't understand what we wanted. Waiting time is long for these type of food, had to wait at least half an hour, despite the low crowd. In the end my laksa was actually forgotten and it only came after 45 minutes, and that after asking once about a missing order which was not taken into account and then only after a second time then a waitress came and informed they will prepare it within 5 minutes. I believe the management need to relook at their staff training and how they manage the service to improve as there is a lot lacking. Am sorry to say despite all the hype won't be coming back unless they improve on the menu and staff. Frankly a little disappointed as we drove all the way in the rain to sample the fare.

Staff are well trained and helpful with our enquiries. Food and drinks didn’t take long to serve and it’s prepared exactly as requested (coffee less sweet, chicken breast) and the place is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Simple and unpretentious. Food was nice - chicken was tender, rice is fragrant, soup was normal and the condiments (ginger and chili sauce) paired well with the chicken rice. Would return again next time!

Arrived around 1.30pm on Thursday, very packed, steamed chicken sold out, need to wait 30 minutes for fried chicken. Good service though. As it's halal, roasted chicken rice is considered good. The fried chicken from nasi kerabu was better than the roasted chicken (maybe because it was freshly fried and hot when served). But the nasi kerabu price is on a high side (RM26). Cham and kopi were good but sweet (although have requested for less sweet) so better order without sweetness (kosong).

Came at lunch hour, the staff all very nice and friendly. Nasi ayam set for RM16.90/RM17.90 with drink. Got various menu like nasi kerabu, nyonya laksa and pumpkin soup. Very fast service, less than a minute already got the orders. Nasi ayam dia sedap guys!

pleasantly surprised the experience is better than expected - since there are few bad reviews. steam chicken rice is good nyonya curry mee is good the taste is unique. will repeat.

Fast service, great relaxing atnosphere although a bit warm even sitting inside. Chicken rice was a delight! I could eat the rice alone with very little servings of chicken,that's how good the rice is. BBQ chicken not too sweet, tender,easy to cut, my 7yr old daughter loves them very much. Buttermilk chicken quite good,although the price point for buttermilk feels a bit on high side considering the portion. Overall, a must visit place.

I ordered the noodles with steam chicken. Very delicious. The Chilli sauce was astounding. The soup also very tasty. My husband ordered the chicken rice set which was reasonably priced at RM16.90 with rice, soup and condiments and one gets to select a drink from several choices like tea or coffee or lime drinks. The kopi ais was superb taste and the chicken rice is so aromatic and delicious

Comfortable ambience. Food came quick which is good. It could be great if got sink for customers to wash hands as the toilet is quite a distance away.

Tasty chicken rice and price is really reasonable. Good ambience with superb fast service. Chicken is fresh & taste is good too. Set comes with 2 big sizes wantan & the soup is really nice.
