I regretted not taking more pics. The food was amazing. Went with friends and ordered a variety to try. Had the pesto pasta with chicken. Went back to have the karaage chicken with Japanese curry. It was so good. The pastries were also good. Haven't had good croissant in so long, and their croissants ticked a lot of boxes for me. In terms of ambiance, I like the moody and luxurious feel of the cafe. It's quieter than Bean Brothers, and definitely more conducive for people who want to work in a cafe. They have a bar with lots of plug points for remote workers to use. Planning to go work there next time.

I'm really thankful that The Strand Mall finally has great food and coffee with The Black Basket having just opened only almost a year ago. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their dishes. I highly recommend the Swedish meatballs, the hot latte and the chocolate chip cookies which are all yummy. A really comfortable place to fill your stomach and clear your mind with their relaxing ambience.

The Banana Croissant is very unique, fragrant banana topped with peanut bits. The Kol-Amann is also delicious, with salted butter in between layers of the pastries. The unique drink here is Air-ricano, which is cold sweetened frothed americano. Latte was OK too. Total bill was RM46.

Best spanish latte ever😍 my first time getting the pastries, can’t wait to taste them! Place is cozy and staffs are very friendly. Can’t wait for their new outlet! Open in KL please!

Our regular haunt whenever in the area. Food's great. Love their Shoyu beef bowl, pesto pasta and the Sirloin. Furthermore, Coffee's great....even their choice of Teas are spot on. What's not to like???

Firstly, the owner and staff is superbly friendly. Secondly, the banana croissants, croffles and cookies are to die for! The coffee is one of my favorite here too! Have been a regular since it open in Dec 2022. Thumbs up!!!

We only order drinks but we've seen their pastries, I'm sure its delicious. The Vietnamese coffee is nice & Spanish Latte is delicious 💝. The staff very nice & fast

Have had the pleasure of eating at the Café on a number of occasions already. Lots of selection and everything is FRESH. We will continue to eat here. Amanda and Jaida are always super friendly and always smiling.
