Food was okay, still not bad but pricey. Plum juice 5.90 & pineapple fried rice 17.90. Its 23.80 per person in a coffee shop. Ambience was not Kafe style. The sizzling mee too salty. It’s Service was all good. There uses to be a time they serve pineapple fried rice on the pineapple itself. Not anymore. I love them 10-15yrs back but won’t be going again anytime soon.

We ordered the Cantonese yee mee with prawn and nasi goreng with salted fish and both met our expectations. We came around 6.00pm on a weekend so there were not many customers and service was fast. Parking was also relatively easy to find around the area.

One of the older establishment in pj new town. Menu was really extensive. In the end opted for their set lunch grilled chicken with brown sauce. Service was promt and serving was good for the price. Dish is served with portion of fries and a piece of buttered bread. Taste wise was normal. Alot of surrounding white collar patronage because of their set lunch ranging from 14.90 to 16.90. 👍👍👍

Once in a while, I would patronise this place when I am at PJ New Town. I find the food here is overall good and affortable. They always have a special lunch menu on display on the hanging green board. Their original menu is varied with a variety choices of food. Like local favourites of rice with a side dish, noodles, and simple western food. Today's lunch, I have ordered one item from the green board.....'Flying noodles with mixed seafood'. The name is so unique, and so was the presentation when it came out! Well, it tastes good, too. Not oily and less salty. Seafood was fresh, which is a plus factor.

Came here on a weekday so it wasn’t hard to find parking. Was intrigued by the high ratings at this part of the town. The cafe is a restaurant that is family friendly, serves western-Asian food from fries to nasi goreng to mee mamak. The only thing they don’t have it banana leaf rice haha. Service was prompt, order thru the waitress. The teh tarik just like how I like it and the Cantonese yee mee was good. Prawns fresh and gravy is on point. Humble cutleries but that’s how you know the food is good. Retro vibes for decor and I imagine it’ll be nice to have lunch on a weekday or weekend family dinner here. Parking can be hard on peak hours, so plan ahead.

Hit and miss. I am a local patron of this outlet. Notice after new outlet open, the food quality here drop a bit. Still good but not great like it is used to. Today I ate nasi goreng cina but the flavour is not great yet, good but not great. Also spicy chicken rice, this one for me is great. But to be even need to try new outlet as well. Last time I came, i ordered dry butter prawn but the quality like I said is not great as it is used to be. Please be great again, I love this outlet soo muchh. 😢 Now i am scared to eat the high ticket meals. 😟🥺

It's been a long time since we visited this place before the pandemic, the cafe became 1 lot only. The pandemic affected the business so much yet the food was still at a good level & the same as last time we visited. The service is still friendly as before. I hope someday they will grow again like before. We just missed so much the outlet at USJ Taipan because last time we were regular at that place.

The dining experience at this restaurant was thoroughly disappointing. The food lacked any distinct flavor, and the prices were unreasonably high for such portion and quality. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a satisfying meal or value for money. All failed dishes ordered. Worst food ever! Spend your money elsewhere with nicer food!

The last time I was there was more than 20 years ago. I was still in college then. It's amazing that this cafe is still there! That tells you a lot about how popular it is. The food was good and pricing was reasonable. We had a main dish, a side dish and 3 drinks. The prawns were juicy and the size of each was about even. The bill came to about slightly more than RM50. Service was also fast and friendly. What I didn't fancy was the furniture. The tables and chairs looked and felt dated. I maybe ok with brass metal chairs 20 years ago but not anymore. Luckily there were some softer wooden with leather-cushion chairs. I didn't notice if there was any air-conditioning. It was still the partially open-air concept of dining. It felt like the place was still the same student hangout it was 20 years ago.
