I tried the Nyonya fish rice, apple juice with plum..Delicious and the portion is generous. Will surely come back!

This is my first time to eat in this restaurant. The food taste nice and the price is reasonable. The environment is good and clean. The staff provide good service. They can accept most e wallet payment. Their menu have variety choice of food

We ordered food from Vege Gen and it was a horrible experience both in food and the restaurant's owner/manager Mr. Endy. We clearly mentioned of being VEGAN so it should not contain milk/egg/cheese/mayonnaise but at least 3 items contained milk, egg and mayonnaise. Burger and Crispy Mushroom wt Oat contained mayonnaise. RedWine Fried Rice contained a lot of egg pieces. Pictures can be seen as attached. Also I've attached excerpt of the conversation with Mr. Endy (who says he's the owner of this restaurant). I even had a phone call during which he was so rude and asked to go and take their mayonnaise to a lab test and see if it contains cow's milk or soya milk. He was not at all ready to take any responsibility and was blaming the supplier and was shameless in the entire conversation.

Quality food, so clean. On hectic days, you may need to wait a bit long.

Serving vegetarian food, both a la carte and dishes to share, Vege Gen has a clean and welcoming interior. On offer are rice, noodle and western dishes. They also serve coffee such as latte, cappuccino, etc. Service was friendly and fast where servings were large for the price. The nyonya fish rice was spicy and tasty while the curry ramen was good with the curry very rich (lemak). The homemade blacksoya drink was also good and thick. Recommended

Is it possible to give NO STAR? The Myanmar worker was so rude that it completely put me off ordering. Whatever i asked for he said "Finished, no more". and he glared at me as if he was irritated that he had to work. Please shut down this restaurant. We dont want to eat food prepared by rude, unfriendly and negative people

This is a newly open vegetarian restaurant. The menu selection is mainly targeted for Malaysian Chinese. The food are reasonably price and have quite a wide selection. The taste is good, not too sweet or too salty. You can either order main dish or single plate. There are also vegetarian burger and French fries option for kids.

Every 1st and 15th of the month (Chinese calendar), the mom will never fail to give a call & gently remind us about "these" days. In other words, she asks to be vegetarian. Not a must, but better obey la. Vege Gen is just one of a few vegetarian restaurants in popular Dataran Sunway in Kota Damansara. I would avoid going here if possible due to the horrendous traffic here. ◾Fried seafood tofu - a nice snack to munch on with the chilly sauce. ◾Buttermilk oyster mushroom - nicely deep fried and doused with buttermilk sauce. ◾Red Wine Mee Suah - "hmm not bad" she said. ◾Tom Yum mee hoon - I forgave the flavour because it's vegetarian and didn't taste like the usual tom yum. The hungry son finished all as he liked the spiciness and sourish soup. One option for vegetarians if you happen to be in this area.

Good prices. Comfortable and clean cafe-style atmosphere. Food was good and not heavily flavoured. The fried rice came in generous portion, easily shared for two. The buttermilk mushroom was perfectly, lightly fried. Would come back here again.

Nice vegetarian/vegan place to go to. Been here few times. Quiet ambience, no funny cooking smell 😜 food is good so far the recommended items I tried the taste and texture is up to standard but the curry chicken potato was a bit firm would be nice if it's much softer. Would definitely visit again 👍

Agree with other reviews that the food is indeed very yummy. Spoilt for choice. Recommended.. Price wise is reasonable considering the interior design invested. There’s quite a lot of happy customers dining too.

Tofu has great taste but no the sauce, stir fried mix vege has great wok taste, mane mushroom is too original without other mixtures

This restaurant is located near to Sunway Giza Mall. It’s a bit crowded during lunch hour. So we had to wait for our turn (about 5 mins) to be seated. Service was a bit slow, but understandable since there were many people. I ordered their Fish MeeHoon Soup. Considering the soup as salty and tasted like MSG. Otherwise, perfect. Price range is reasonable.

Superior soup really good compare to others. It matches all taste together. Please be patient if u tapao there when many orders...

1st time over here for dinner. Both the dish (curry chicken rice and fish meehoon) were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy. The price is fair, RM10-15 for most rice / noodle bowl. Definitely one of the best vege restaurants that I been to.

carbonara tastes good but fried rice & curry ramen not nice for us. The curry lacking of curry aroma, the best curry I had is at Hainan Village @ Megah Rise.

Deep fried oyster mushrooms are yum but I felt greasy after eating nearly all of it.

One of my favourite vegetarian restaurant or cafe. Variety of selections to choose from. Affordable price, delicious food and great ambience. A bit hard to find parking in this area unless you double park. Alternatively, you may park at Sunway Giza or Nexus and walk over.

It is an amazing place considering its cheap prices and it's amazing food! I could rant about this all day and how this and that was good. The atmosphere is very nice with a lovely candy bowl. I would 10/10 come here again
