My dad was admitted to KPJ Damansara to do an MRI screening. We thought we could trust the nurses to take care of my dad properly but we were so wrong. As a stroke patient, my dad was left on the bed without anyone assisting him to take a bath (didn't have a bath for almost 2 days), lunch and dinner were left at the door (didn't send to his table) and no one telling him the food is there. They expect a stroke patient to know when the food is coming, and to take the food by themselves. They serve a big whole chunk of chicken to him and except him that he can eat it while he is facing difficulty talking. I can understand if the nurses are busy doing other stuff, I didn't expect them to take care of my dad for 24 hours but shouldn't they at least be more caring to a stroke patient that can't even talk? All the good reviews here, how many of them are even real? Last but not least, when asked the nurse what test have my dad completed? What medicine did he take? Guess what The answer is I DONT KNOW............ If anyone knows any platform that I can complain to this KPJ branch other than their efficient customer service, please let me know.

I wish to give ZERO STAR but can't. Went to emergency due to bleeding at 5 weeks pregnant. While waiting the nurse kept referring to me as 'patient badan besar'. Yes, I'm a bit plump but not expecting a private hospital to offer such salty 'service'. Was treated carelessly by Dr. Ansari. Asked a few questions and told me to wait for the next shift as there will be an on-call O&G. I asked him to release me since the blood was not so heavy and I already called Dr. Susanna prior to my visit. He insisted to let me stay in ER. Time went by, I knew Dr. Susanna's clinic is about to close so again, I asked Dr. Ansari to release me, and finally, he said, "If you insist then go. As far as I am concerned, no one is in the clinics." What a bluff! Talking to me like I'm a child. So I went to Dr. Susanna's clinic, telling her I have assisted pregnancy (chlomid), first pregnancy after 7+yrs marriage, and whatnot. Guess what, she did the 2D scan and said I don't know is it a miscarriage or not. I requested TVS. Hoping there is a light or sort of explanation. She then said, "I don't know what is this. Not sac, not cyst. I don't know. Come again next two weeks. Go back just wait and see." Thus, end my visit and charged RM500 (self-paid, not GL) for such a terrible nurse, inattentive doctor, and know-nothing specialist. What a JOKE! Went to UMSC next few days and get a good explanation at a lower rate.

My mom was diagnosed with T2/T3 of bladder cancer. It was October 2021 and the protocol for international border is at the strictest moment. We're from Indonesia and the COVID case of both countries were a lot. So, there are certain things that we need to pay attention of. Through a thorough research, we found KPJ Damansara. Then we contacted Khalifa from KPJ Damansara, who was super helpful and attentive. We found out about the doctor through her, and also did tele-consultation to let the doctor see my mom's condition. We got the fastest response from them, compared to other hospitals we contacted. Khalifa also helped us to arrange everything, from pre-arrival until post-operation. She helped us with all the visa application in the immigration. Mind you, that time it was difficult to get one, since the queue and also steps are a lot more complex due to COVID. My mom stayed in the hospital for a month, and she visited often to check on her. The service in the hospital was top-notch and fast. I also think for time like this where family will need to act fast, this kind of service is paramount. All the nurses from Oncology department are also careful, friendly, and care about the patient. This hospital is recommended and I couldn't give lesser than 5 stars for everything.

Hi, I am Puan Athirah, a mother to a recent patient Nur Aufa Binti Mohd Fitri. My daughter was admitted to KPJ Damansara on 27/12/22 and was being discharged on 30/12/22. However, our experience at KPJ Damansara was not as good as we expected. The waiting time was so long, but luckily all the medical staffs (nurses only) were so helpful and welcoming. But the doctors, I couldnโ€™t find a right word to describe them. The way they presented the diagnosis of my daughter was not in a professional way. None of the test results were thoroughly explained to me, not even shown! (blood & xray test result). Ended up, during discharged, nurses were the one explained to me. Doctor Musa's visits were so short not even more than 2 minutes! No explaination on the diagnosis or condition. Not even a room to ask about my daughter's condition and he just went away disappeared just like that. In the end of the process, on our GL insurance summary, we were charged RM210 for doctor's consultation excess visit ?? Oh my goodness. This is so disappointing and frustrating. Well, at least my experience with KPJ Rawang was far way better than this.

Simply love this hospital as the service given to the patients is tip top. It had been awarded the Planetree Certification for the Excellence in Person Centered Care. The facilities you will enjoy here are vast and comforting for both patients and family members who is attending their loved ones. There is a playground, a big aquarium and even a massage/aromatheraphy corner to kill the time while waiting for appointments. As for the room especially the single room are quite big. Foods served for patients are quite delicious too. Finally, the service given by the medical team are first class service. Doctors and nurses are ready to assist patients and families.

Due to very high blood pressure, my wife was referred to the hospital by the clinic. We arrived at the hospital around 1:30 pm and the doctor visited us and diagnosed her for admission. We had to wait six hours for the GL to approve admission. We encountered rude administration staff that was not properly trained. The first thing they told us was that our insurance was inactive, so we called our insurance company who informed us they were incorrect and I called the hospital and explained to the staff, who then informed us they had made a mistake and our case needed to proceed offline. We waited for two more hours, however, our insurance company requested details due to the hospital's failure to provide adequate information. We asked the hospital to follow up and they shout you are not the only passion here and we can't focus on you. However, we were here for more than 6 hours. Long story short, if you want to waste your time and money, choose this hospital.

Our journey with KPJ was awesome. We consulted Dr.Imelda for delivery of our second daughter. Throughout the maternity journey, though we have many confusions and questions, Doctor and her assistant Ms Afiqa were very helpful. Even we had times where we clarified doubts through phone. Being expats, planning delivery in Malaysia brought many challenges, but everything went simple through their guidance and support. Many times, we amazed how they are treating us and remembering even the personal things we shared during previous consultations. Post natal care was amazing. Many thanks to all the staff who took care of us and for the inestimable support โค๏ธ

My mom is Indonesian and was diagnosed with bladder cancer by doctors in Indonesia. I decided to get my mom treated at KPJ Damansara after thorough research. It was Oct 2021 and covid was bad that time. Malaysia havenโ€™t open the border. Medical procedures was allowed (case by case) but there are a lot of complicated procedures that I need to follow. I reached out to Khalifa and she made it easier. Normally it took 3-4 weeks to get the permission letter to enter the country, but with her help and also MHTC, the process is faster. Couldnโ€™t thank Khalifa and MHTC members enough for the service and fast response. God knows what will happen to my mom with such a delay. I am beyond grateful and blessed with the help. Doctor and nurses are indeed a great help! The hospital was clean and cozy, the most important thing is highly skilled doctor who knows their field very well and medical equipments are advanced. In my momโ€™s case, it was Dr. Rajeen. The whole process of pre-op, surgery and post-op was smooth and patient is well informed with everything including the risks. Iโ€™ll highly recommend my family and friends who face the same case, to get the treatment at KPJ Damansara. They deserved more than 5 stars!!

Been using this hospital services since mid-90s, it held many fond & bitter memories for me. 2 of my children were born and 2 family members died there. Used to be very happy with the services generally but of late, I observed quite a huge decline, particularly in waiting time. Waiting time to see the specialist of choice is one thing (can range between 1 hour to 2.5 hours) but in my last 2 visits, I've had to wait almost an hour (55 minutes to be exact) for my medicines. In short, one might have to spend half a day there for a visit to the Dr. Not sure about you but for the price we pay, I do not think this is acceptable at all.

I have to wait for more than three hours and counting (9.10PM, 12 October 2022) just to be admitted into the room and my mother will have an early operation the next day (13 October 2022 at 9AM). I have to go back and forth to the admission in the Emergency department enquiring for the ward's availability just to find the same answer (the room is not ready) for the past one hour! There's a reason for me to opt for a private hospital instead of the government hospital ; smooth admissions and thorough check-ups but unfortunately, those two criteria are reflected poorly by DSH. They are not attentive enough to treat an elderly whom happens to be an ex-cancer patient. This is not the first time and I can no longer tolerate its slowness in getting things done especially the admission-related matters.

Poor communication!!!! Poor system and not considerate of patients time. DO NOT RECOMMEND! It was my first time in this hospital and I was told to come early in the morning for my test. I thought after my test I would be able to see the doctor quickly. I found out that the doctor I had scheduled is first come first serve. And that my blood test would take hours. There was no communication about this when I booked the appointment. By the time I left, it had been 7 HOURS! Go anywhere else if you donโ€™t want your day to be a waste. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND

Followed up for my third pregnancy with Dr Imelda Balchin. The service and care provided were outstanding. The appointments were managed efficiently by the friendly clinic assistant, Ms Afiqah. Dr Imelda made sure her patient understand all options & risk involved. She gave a thorough explanation for each of the option and counselled accordingly. The delivery process was smooth, she handled unexpected situation very professionally. The hospital room was clean and comfortable. All nursing staff are so helpful and competent. All in all, a very pleasant experience of maternity care in this hospital.

I had my pregnancy check up with Dr Imelda here. Dr Imeldaโ€™s service was impeccable. During check ups, she made sure she covers all aspects and questions, and she spends time scanning the baby making sure I feel assured and confident leaving the clinic. Her assistant, Miss Fiqah is very friendly & helpful in attending all queries and giving the assistance I need. They made me feel very warm and welcomed at every check ups. My experience here has been very good, been to the ED few times, admitted and i feel all staffs are very helpful and warm right from the start. Service was reasonably fast, and they are able to accommodate all thats needed.

Done some renovation works. The front desk and more welcoming. Hospital is a place I get lost all the time: in terms of where to go and what to do (the paper works). The admin staff are very helpful as I am a noob in hospital paperwork. Would like to request KPJ to improve it is the waiting time to see specialist. The average waiting time is always >2 hours even with appointments. Please relook into this. We understand doctors are busy, but there should be a system to improve this as well.

Our family member stayed at Level 3 for a week with a hospitalization fee of around RM 26,000.00 ++ , and ended up with bed sore just after 1 week. The services were really disappointing. Nurses were LAZY and UNRESPONSIVE to our repeated request to change diapers etc. We had to ask a few times and waited around 45 mins-1 hr until somebody finally came. We are not sure if they even perform their duty to flip patient every few hours to prevent the bed sore. On top of that, the unconscious patient was always left in very uncomfortable lying positions, neglected and uncared for. It's truly HEARTBREAKING to see our family being treated with indifference, nurses didn't seem to care and were working like robots without hearts.

In June 2021, I brought by 5 day-old newborn to the emergency department at about 6.30am after having discharged from SCN (special care nursery) for neonatal jaundice 12 hours earlier. My newborn had a documented temperature of 37.6 degree celcius. He was fast breathing at about 78-82 breaths/minute. He wasn't active and had poor feeding. When I came and had my child's vitals taken, there were probably only 2-3 patients. When it was my turn I felt like I had to wait forever for the MO to attend to my tachypnoeic child after having his vitals taken by the nurse. I am not satisfied at all with how the attending doctor took care of the situation. She convinced me that the fast breathing is just a breathing pattern. After she discussed the case with a specialist, my baby was discharged with syrup paracetamol. No blood investigations or xray was taken. Examination also was not thorough. Few hours later at home, I noticed a recession in my baby's chest. He was not getting better. I went to another private hospital. Blood was taken. Xray was done. PCR swab test was done (negative). Eventhough there were many patients waiting prior to me, my baby was attended quickly due to my child's presentation. It turned out he had Congenital Pneumonia at day 5 of life. His white cell count was high. Both his lungs were infected. He was still jaundiced although not requiring phototherapy. The doctor told me that a newborn with fever should never be ignored. What more he presented with poor feeding, fast breathing and he was less active. All these details were told to the MO in KPJ Damansara. I am upset with the way the emergency team handled my baby on that morning. Till today in fact. Had it not been my high suspicion on the breathing and wellbeing of my baby, he would have progressed worse. To think that I had such a good experience in the maternity ward of KPJ Damansara, coming back to its ED was the worst ever. The negligence (I can't put a euphimism on this) really wrenched my new-found joy as a new mom and tested my emotions and patience on that day. I hope no parents have to go through what I went through. The reason we didn't go to a government hospital was because of rampant covid cases. Having the capacity to travel all the way from Klang to be treated at KPJ Damansara, we didn't expect this. At the very least, my child should have been admitted for observation. Is this the quality of our healthcare nowadays? Was my child ignored because we came in the wee hours? Or because it was weekend and no one wants to work? Even if we are willing to pay for it ? In the end, we were hugely disappointed by this "highly-recommended" setting. Im sorry but this is the harsh truth.

    1. The Doctors I've had experience with in KPJ Damansara Specialist i.e. gynae, heart, anesthesiologist were all superb like wow. Dr Jude, Dr Imelda, Dr Effa all super informative, gentle, very considerate and understanding and human touch as well which is hard to find usually my experience is doctors are arrogant no offence. 2. The admin is always uninformed. I think they have really bad communication with the management. Always get misinformed from them. About admission, payment, processes etc. Clueless. 3. The process to be discharged was super long after delivery. 4. The nurses at maternity overall were amazing except a few. I had to request to not have my baby be taken care by a few at the special unit for babies. I understand its a tiring job but parents to those sick babies are emotional and tired too. Some of them feel like government nurses. That sort of attitude. 5. My daughter had urine infection in just a few days after discharge. I suspect it was that rude nurse that caused it because at Home we change diapers very frequently and I'm very particular on that. I already have another daughter so I know how to care for the diapers and never had issues 6. Nurses at the baby care unit also inject too fast and recklessly my newborn baby's hand became swollen they had to plug in a new IV in the other hand. Really inhumane service. Again, government hospital services. 7. Maternity ward nurse spoke rudely to us. She told (not asked) us to bring the baby to her outside instead of her taking the baby from us in the room. Same rude nurse. Really need to ensure. 8. The nurses giving injections, taking blood tests/samples i think don't know or care to know how to do it painless for the patient. In sjmc it was always painless. There's a technique. But at KPJ Damansara Specialist it's so painful. Overall, if you have a special issue the doctors here are good but for actual service and care, try to admit somewhere else. I heard Thomson is good and price much cheaper.

Had septoplasty. Admitted for 4 days. Had an honor to be treated by Dr Ridzo, ENT Specialist. The nurses here were very professional. Friendly. I was really taken care of. Altho I am sad no family member visited me, the nurse were very attentive and caring, they even fed me. (๐Ÿ˜ญ) I was so touched by the nurses at Orthopedic Ward.

I have sent a medical report request on behalf of my client in May 2021. No updates after long wait. I do understand the doctor took a long leave due to his health situation but it was disappointing that medical records department or the doctor's clinic did not update me & my client proactively about the situation. They left us waiting and only inform us when we call or send a follow up email! The situation got worse when I spoke to the customer service representative regarding the matter. Instead of being apologetic for this complication (long wait for the report and short notice appointment), he asked me โ€œapa you mau lagi? Do you want us to penalize the doctor?โ€ NO, that wasnโ€™t my intention at all! Clearly the way he responded shows that he is not interested to hear from me so that they can improve! So did he think that whole arrangement was right? Anyway, I called to voice out my disappointment of the way how all department reacted and handled this situation! So, finally the doctorโ€™s assistant arranged a very short notice appointment for me. As what I was told, if I want the report then I have to walk in to the clinic, otherwise I will have to continue waiting. Hence, no choice but I have to attend to the appointment to get the doctor to complete the report on the spot. I was there with a few agents and customers, for the same purpose. That's not all, even I have an appointment, I have to wait for the doctor to consult all his patients that comes after me, then only rush to complete the reports 30 minutes before he leave. I ended having a report which wasn't complete. Then, I need to wait further for the medical records department to furnish some reports and get the doctor to complete the rest of the report. There goes the whole morning. Did the doctor forget, my client was also his patient who have waited him for months? I have sent an email to feedback about this as well, hopefully this will help all departments to improve the overall customer experience.

Had somewhat of an unpleasant visit at one of the ENT/ORL specialists. Despite having NO other patients at the time, I felt rushed. Treatment was abrupt, specialist was cold shouldered for which I received no explanation of the treatment outcome or post-op advice. Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Their emergency not really emergency. My son 40ยฐc and went to emergency. Had to wait at triage and he was struggling. Called the nurse. She came and told us to wait?!?! Then she got annoyed and started being rude. After realizing my son was severe she asked to follow to yellow zone. Went in around 9pm and they gave the medicine at 12am. No bed to admit and ask me to clear the zone as soon as possible. Guess the bill? Rm7++ TOTAL LOUSY. MONEY MINDED

Absolutely abysmal organisation and zero respect for patients time. Book an appointment for 830, summoned at 830, I arrive at 815 to be a bit early. They tell me to come back at 1030 because you only get to pick your position in queue for 1030. Special mention to the lady that arrived after me and tried to be put first in line. You read that right. They summon you at 830 knowing full well that doctor will be here at 1030 so "that way there isn't a lot of people arriving together at 1030". Are you kidding me? Can't you just book 15 or 20 minute slots instead of making your patients waste AT LEAST two hours of their time? Doctor arrived at 1100, not a word of apology or anything. Overall, I arrived at 815 and saw the doctor at 1115. Just go somewher else, they don't deserve to have patients.

I was an existing patient under a famous Orthopaedic since 2016. The clinic waiting time always require at least 2-3 hours back then. Today I visited the same doctor again and the clinic service is even worse than 7 years ago. The clinic assistant or nurse did not take the initiative to help patient on appointment booking with other department or unit eg MRI etc. and did not tell patient clearly on the sequence of step to proceed the next. End up it caused patient wasted time on asking around. Donโ€™t think it is an acceptable hospital service.

My experience with this hospital is bad especially when I apply the attending doctor statement from their medical report department. Firstly, it charge me RM250 for attending doctor statement and took more than 2 months to complete it. No allow email the report to us and we have to attend to collect the report. Then I have to go to medical report department in basement and waited for 15 mins for them generate the payment invoice and then go to ground floor business center wait more than 30 mins to make the payment before I can collect the report. Such a time wasted and no productive

Am a regular at this hospital, most of the time the service was okay but recently went to the emergency dept for persistent headache and dizziness that went on for about 2 weeks. The MO concluded that i haven't been getting enough rest and prescribed me panadol and migraine meds. Went to a different hospital two days later because the dizziness was still there and found out i had ear and throat infection. Realized then that the MO at KPJ didn't even bother to do a thorough checkup compared to this other hospital. I hope KPJ cares a lot more about their patients.

My wife and I went to Dr Imelda for our first pregnancy. Dr is very thorough with the monthly scans, attentive in responding to all our concerns, very knowledgeable and always informative - sheโ€™d explain things to us in detail to ensure we understood. Sheโ€™s amazing to say the least. Afiqah the clinic staff is always nice and friendly, scheduled our appointments effectively and helpful in attending to all our queries. For monthly checkups, do expect a longer wait than the scheduled timing due to the number of patients under Drโ€™s care. For labour, Dr thoroughly explained all our options and the risks involved. Delivery went smoothly, Dr was professional, calm and patient throughout which made us feel at ease. The labour staff nurses went out of their way to ensure the patient was comfortable, kudos to them. The nurses in the maternity ward and SCN ward (when baby was warded due to jaundice) were great and helped a lot in guiding how to correctly breastfeed. Mom and baby had latching difficulty in the beginning, but made it through with their help. Overall an extremely positive experience. Outstanding care and service provided by Dr Imelda and team at KPJ Damansara.

I was recommended to see Dr Imelda for my first pregnancy. I have nothing but good words for Dr. She is very attentive and you can see that she is very passionate about what she does, and takes her work very seriously. Most importantly, she really cares about her patients and always making sure that i am comfortable for every visit all the way till after I gave birth. Highly recommend her ! Thank you Dr Imelda for taking care of me and my baby. <3

Went to doc Dr Imelda after knowing that she is a specialist for high risk pregnancy. She closely monitor my condition during my pregnancy due to my history of preeclampsia and placenta abruptio. She's very knowledgeable and when patient ask anything she will answer or explain it in a word that patient easy to understand. Her clinic assistant afiqah also very helpful. I really recommend Dr Imelda to all expectant mothers especially with high risk pregnancy. I would like to thank all KPJ staffs especially in the maternity ward and Special Care Nursery (SCN). ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Initially I went to Dr Imelda's clinic for further detailed scan for my baby.. Actually clinic nak tutup sebab Dr nak go for her surgery but my rezeki dapat jumpa Dr jugak before dia MC. Alhamdulillah sekali jumpa terus me and my husband decided nak terus follow up with Dr Imelda. The way she scan, explain and communicate with us bagus betul and very soft. Her staff Afiqah and Dr Yasmin also very friendly.. Would love to see Dr Imelda and her team in future ๐Ÿฅฐ

I gave birth here and had all my antenatal check ups with Dr Imelda. Had the best experience with her and the nurses were particularly helpful (shout out to Ms. Afiqah for always helping me with my questions). Dr Imelda is very knowledgeable and patient in answering all my questions. She has exceptional people skills and would put even the most neurotic mother at peace. I canโ€™t recommend her enough and would definitely come see her again for my next baby. Not all private hospitals provide the same level of care but I notice that KPJ pride itself in its stellar service and it shows. The nurses guided me on how to breastfeed, bathe and swaddle the baby despite being a second time mom. Everyone greets you with a warm smile and theyโ€™re always there to help you with the door, etc. My baby also see his paediatrician here, Dr Musa who is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He would answer all your questions and put your mind at ease. Overall I had an exceptional time here and would definitely recommend anyone to seek treatment here.

Extremely slow service at emergency department. Please go to another hospital nereby if you have any emergency (thompson or columbia asia pj) especially if you plan to use your personal insurance. Very confusing SOP starting from registration until admission. No urgency from the staff at the counter. They just explain clearly if its come to "payment". Other than that?you will just waiting and clueless. BAD SERVICE!

I brought in a senior citizen for covid19 vaccination. Well disorganised or chaotic is the conclusion. The parking says it accepted atm card. hell no it DOES NOT. we have to walk quite far (with a senior citizen!!). The staff also does not give clear directions on how to fill in the forms.

Slow service at the pharmacy. Waited 40 mins just for one box of caduet. When asked why so slow the pharmacy staff asked whether mine using GL. Is there different standard/SOP applied by type of payment? If there is, then it is unfair as customer deserves same treatment regardless mode of payment. This is not the first time i encountered this issue but most of the time even though no large crowd at the pharmacy.

I went to see Dr Imelda since I was 9 weeks pregnant. She was very thorough, informative, very understanding and totally reliable. Boleh buat karangan kalau nak cerita pasal my experience with her because I only have positive things to say. All I can say is SHEโ€™S THE BEST! I already told my husband that I will give him more babies ONLY IF sheโ€™s the one delivering them ๐Ÿ˜‚. I already shared my experience with all of my friends and Iโ€™m pretty sure theyโ€™re all hooked ๐Ÿ˜„ hereโ€™s a picture of me, my husband, my daughter Sophia and Dr Imelda.

I am taking care of my husband at room 415 who had undergone a brain tumor surgery. Since admitted, the service is superb. The doctors-in-charge; Datoโ€™ Dr Zurin Adnan (neurosurgeon) and Datin Dr Wahida (anestesiologist) have been very professional and so caring to my husband. After the surgery, my husband had been placed at the ICU for 4 days and I was very satisfied with the service of the staff at the ICU. They have done outstandingly good job. Now he is in the ward and as expected, not only the facilities are good but the staff are exceptionally ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Besides, as the patientโ€™s guardian, the hospital is not at all a boring place, once a while I would spend my time at Kreate cafe and Coffee Beans. Congratulations KPJ Damansara and keep up the good work!

I have the best experience with my gynae here at KPJ Damansara which the one and only Dr Imelda. Delivered my baby and doing checkup with Dr Imelda was just amazing. Love her positive spirit which makes me less worry and energize everytime i see her and it was very delightful. Not forgetting her assistant Fiqah was very helpful throughout the journey as well. Always looking forward to see Dr Imelda. Love her so much! My only complaint is the services and nurses at the maternity ward. I do not have a pleasant experience with them. As a first time parent and especially breastfeeding mom, it was very hard as none of the nurses nor midwife was helpful when it comes to breastfeeding with your so call โ€œbreastfeeding friendlyโ€ hospital. I got engorged really bad and none of them actually help and guide me on it until we make a complaint as i cannot sleep and got fever because of it. And I was informed from their own staff as well where they do always see mommies from maternity ward always experience breast engorged and i met a few mommies as well where we talked about our bad experience. Their excuse was they only have 1 lactation nurse and sheโ€™s on leave. The hospital have a nice lactation room at the maternity ward but it was not fully utilized. Not forgetting, they probably only change the babyโ€™s diaper 2 times a day. How do i know? Because the baby was with me all the time and none of them come to the room to change the diaper not until well.. we raise about it. Do we have to call them every 2-3 hours to change the diaper tho? The nurse fee is not cheap and weโ€™re paying them. Also, I would like to suggest upgrading the lactation room near the paediatrician area by putting a water filter (eg: Coway) inside the room instead the mommies have to walk all the way outside the walkway to get the water. The tissue and hand-soap were always empty there.. Again, thank you Dr Imelda and Fiqah for the pleasant experience ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Useless hospital that's only after your money. There are some decent doctors and nurses here though but their are way outnumbered and overall the hospital primary aim is to charge high fees rather than providing patient care. My mother regularly underwent dialysis treatment over a number of years. For each session, my mother was charged RM 20 for Doctor's consultation as part of the regular RM 250 dialysis fees. The funny thing is 99.99% of the time neither does the Doctor shows up prior to starting the dialysis or is he consulted on dialysis parameters. The dialysis center nurses just key in the parameters as mere robots without tailoring for the patient needs. I once questioned the business/billing center why my mother is getting charged RM 20 for the Doctor each time when the Doctor is nowhere to be seen. "This is how it is" was the reply that I got to my horror. Bear with me a second and let's do the maths. There are approximately 3 dialysis sessions a day, 6 days a week and most sessions are full. If one were to underestimate the number of dialysis patients per session to only 10; that's 10 patient a session x 3 sessions a day x 6 days a week x RM 20 per patient= RM 3600 per week. Times that by 4 weeks = RM 14,400 per calendar month. That's how much money the nephrologist is raking a month for doing absolutely nothing! NADA! Forget the consultation fees. Another thing, if you are desperate to get your dialysis done here, avoid Dr Chong Yip Boon by all means. If you're warded, be very careful what you ask for and scrutinise your final bill. On top of high fees for the routine/surgical procedure, the hospital shamelessly charges for every little thing such a tissue box, disposable vomit bowls etc.. Doctors that go on ward rounds shameless charge an arm and a leg for mere 5 minutes conversation with the patient. They always seem to be in a hurry. SHAME ON YOU KPJ Damansara! And Doctors and so called specialists, you all really need to take a hard look at yourselves and ask the ultimate question; did you train to save lives or just to rob innocent hardworking people?

Service is bad. Running like a government hospital. I went for mammogram and ultra sound. It took me 3 hours even though i can see only 3 to 4 patients waiting. After mammogram i was asked to wait for the ultra sound. I asked how many patients in queue. The staff told me 3. An hour later i asked again, still 2. I asked the s staff 1 hour to do 1 patient? Her answer is you ask the doctor la why take so long. What kind of service is that??? If you are going to take long, at least you inform the patient the waiting time, at least we can decide whether to wait or to come back later. 3 hours waiting here, really waste of our time.

Dr Imelda is very professional and knowledgeable. She always listen to me patiently and explain everything in detail. During labour time, she calm me down and guided me very well, my dream birth plan came true smoothly, a precious and memorable birth journey. Besides, the clinic assistant, Afiqah, she is friendly and helpful, everything is well arranged by her. I am grateful that I have chosen Dr Imelda's clinic. The only down side of the hospital, is the administrative part. We waited for half day to complete discharge process, although we can wait in the room, the waiting process is too much of time consuming.

I have been very fortunate to obtain a slot with Doctor Imelda Balchin at 26weeks gestation and into her very full and tight schedule, mainly thanks to Afiqah as I was having a very bad pelvic pain and unable to move properly and she was extremely kind to understand my pain and provided me a chance to Doctor Imelda's clinic. Doctor is attentive, great listener and answers any questions you have and do not rush you as a patient at all. There onwards, I follow up with her every visit until I had my baby with her and I am extremely grateful to have been in her care and would love to be in her care for the next blessing if God permits.

A thousand special thanks for all the missions at DayCare Oncology KPJ Damansara. Since going to day care in December 2022, all assumptions that have been around for so long have changed! Cancer is no longer a taboo to mention. It is no longer an incurable disease. The smile of the mission gives a lot of encouragement and hope even to the patient in such a difficult situation. No longer do I feel intimidated and pressured even though I was told the time frame is short for my sister. My sister passed away on the 21st of last August, but I will never forget all the memories of being at the day care. God bless, from FBChen n behalf of Chen Wooi Kuan. October 2023.

A hospital that bullies the elderly. My mother was sent to this hospital after she fainted. It was one o'clock in the morning and my mother was not allowed to have a good rest.
