Kaarees @ Crown Colony Cuisine

Restaurant β€’ Vegetarian restaurant

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Well decorated and food is nice & lot of variety. Price is considered cheaper than any others Vegan Restaurant. It's a bit hard to find a Vegan restaurant in PJ area. But I strongly recommended if you are looking for a vegan place, Crown Colony Cuisine would definitely be my first choice in PJ. People often mention vegan, good, vegetarian, taste, order,

I had such an amazing vegan banana leaf experience. There were so many different things to eat on the platter, surprisingly good considering there was no onion or garlic. I ordered some rendang as an extra, the texture was very chicken like albeit soft. They'll have it every weekend I think from now on. So cheap too and the volume of food was staggering! I haven't tried any of the other food here, but I'm keen to based on this experience! The staff are very nice too ☺️

Special as is nyonya vegetarian. Food taste is ok, regular nyonya taste. Dessert too sweet. Drink too sweet. Price above average. Smell of smoking is bad when inner door open.

100% Plant based Vegan restaurant. I ordered Ayam Rendang Bento Set. Price is expensive but since it is located at PJ Jaya 33 mall, I guess it’s quite at high side. The flavour is good tho. Just been here one time, haven’t tried other dishes yet so not sure. They do serve free mineral water, if you don’t want to order any drinks it’s fine. Price is about $$. Definitely no problem for Vegan eaters. πŸ‘

Allow me to put it on record: I'm not a vegan. And I know the owners personally. Now let's cut to the chase. If you are looking for authentic Peranakan/Kristang or Chetty cuisine which is plant-based, then look no further. They taste as good if not better than the real meat variant. I'm told that no garlic or onion is involved, so that's alchemy. They are also constantly fine-tuning recipes. The Chef De Cuisine is of Peranakan descent herself, and you should know that Peranakans take their cooking very seriously. And the fact that she can supervise non-Peranakan meals so well speaks volume of it and they are always open for suggestion and feedback. So do give them a try. Best case scenario, you love it. Worst-case scenario? You leave with a full stomach.

Great food. Nice environment and good service. Boss is friendly and can mingle with about the food and restaurant. Food is Peranakan, Portuguese and Indian vegan/vegetarian without onion and garlic. Ingredients are fresh tasty and hand made. They do takeaway and delivery as well. Overall highly recommended as can't find anywhere in KL. Worth going for a delightful experience for family, couple, friends, colleagues, etc.

I’m not a vegetarian but this place’s food agrees with my tongue. Taste is on point. Service is wonderful. Presentation of food is another part that amazes me. Very friendly and hospitable. 10/10 would come again.

Have been meaning to eat at this vegan restaurant and finally managed to do a take away. Tried two of their lunch box sets - the popular Kristang Pineapple Prawn and Briyani Hyderabadi. They did not disappoint! Ingredients were fresh and you can taste the quality in the food. Shall definitely be back to try more. And when lockdown is relaxed, plan to dine in surrounded by tasteful colonial era ambiance. Recommended!

Fortunate enough to have CCC in Kl where me and my vegan friends can finally enjoy delicious peranakan authentic foods. Service is too notch and food is really good. Enjoy it so much. Tq CCC. P/S: Asam fish must try.

Sorry only took the picture almost end of the meal. Food is good, not spicy, taste was really good, considering it is difficult to get vegan/vegetarian Nyonya food. The waiter Mr Rana was really helpful, he suggested some good combinations for our lauk. Thanks to him we tried some pulut type of rice which went really well with our Mutton and Chicken Rendamg dish. I would really like something spicy, perhaps in the future they can offer spicier versions.

Ordered for my family during the lockdown. My family love it and enjoyed the lunch. I'm not a vegan but I've decided to nibble and try some of the food I've ordered. My personal favourite is the Satay and Jackfruit Poppiah.

A restaurant bursting with flavor located three floors up inside a sleepy mall. Honestly all this means is easier parking garage and less people waiting for the lift. I was excited to try peranakan food. They have bento boxes for individual set meals or you can try several dishes in a group of 4-6 people. The food is entirely plant based, vegan, vegetarian, delicious.

I'm regular customer to this place order through grab, but 2 times I'm very disappointed with the foods, this happened on March, first time mistake is I get 1 set wrong food and next day they already replace to me 2 set's, another day my house was flooded so I decide to order again from this place but I get rotten food, food was not fresh and smelly , the acar was totally spoiled and smelly, after eat 1 piece acar I feel heartburn.and also they kept old batch dessert's, I Whatsapp them and ask them to refund my money because I get rotten foods, the owner already refund the money to me and he rudely said to me next time don't order from me again and he said please don't let me to contact you again.. I don't know why the owner didn't realize about the rotten foods and he replied very rudely... March is the my last order and until now I never ever order from this place... I really have very bad experience at this place

Always glad to find vegetarian restaurants that serve whole foods instead of only mock meats. Had banana leaf sets and was very satisfied with the varieties and flavours of the dishes. Will come again.
