The pictures are a lie. This place is pretty grungy. I had to be moved rooms cuz the carpet was sticky. Then I got to my new room and it was hot and musty. That did improve with the ac but the fridge was complete turned off and hot so all the ice around the ice box had melted. It took over 24 hours for it to cool down and then it never really felt cold but froze my food. So I turned it down a tiny bit and the ice melted again. It was a no win situation. The bathrooms are grungy. The staff is nice and the breakfast was actually really decent. It got a bit noisy at times but staff was able to fix that. The pool was closed and wasn't something I'd swim in. And the gym was really bad. If you need a place to sleep. That's about all you'll get.

The room did not look clean. It looked old, and the tub was stained. So I could not shower in it. The door did not look sturdy enough to keep a thief out. A cricket or some sort of insect was in my room. The person at the front desk was great. But, will never stay there again. And I thought the price was a little higher than the other hotels in the area but definitely not worth the price for peace of mind.

I stayed here this past weekend to visit my husband who is in AIT at fort Lee. Base is very close and easy to get too. Only 11 minutes. My room was clean and pretty big! My bed was comfy! The breakfast was pretty good! And all the staff members were nice! Had an issue with one as I was leaving but nothing I haven’t handled before being a girl. My door was hard to open but I take that as a plus staying in a hotel alone. Would definitely stay here again!

Came in with a busted knee and Mr. Lival placed me right next to the elevator. He was so kind, funny and professional during check-in. I wish everyone in the service industry was like this man. THANK YOU sir for your awesome service!! The room was great, slept like a log and although I missed breakfast, it smelled amazing. Will most definitely look into this chain more when I travel.

Me and my sisters stayed here from out of state. The forms of payments we intending to use was not accepted. There is nothing that specifics that. Thankful we had a form of payment that was accepted considering we were hours away from home. The room had multiple issues that were immediately reported (we should have been offered a new room, but was not). The best part of this stay was a employee name Raheem...he came to the room to see for himself and apologize for such poor conditions. He had a true care for us and was very willing to rectify in any way possible he could. The original employee that checked us in did not do that or show that amount of compassion because she was more so concerned to get us out of the way. I wanted to show her the pictures of the room and she refused to see them. I was pulled to the side and told 1 Night would be reimbursed, at the point we were in the stay should have been free. I don't like drama so I remained respectful and wrote down my concerns to them. Needless to say we will not be returning to stay here. The potential that this place has is outstanding but the execution is poorly done. Hopefully things will get better for future guests because they need to shut down and start over.

I stayed here for 2 days. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious. I could not hear anything through the walls or windows which was great. Very quiet inside the room. Complimentary breakfast had plenty of options and coffee/water were available all throughout the day. I would stay here again. The hotel is dated which is obvious but I think is outweighed by the cleanliness, friendly staff and quiet rooms.

Good things: free breakfast til 10am and a nice indoor pool. Not good thing: room not totally clean. We stayed here when traveling to a family member's baby shower. Our room here had two queen beds and a pullout couch. My brother in law was to sleep on the pullout sofa in the living room area of the room. On pulling out the bed part of the sofa, it was dirty as in it wasn't cleaned or sheets changed after the last guests stayed there. We called the front desk and the agent said the room will not be cleaned until after we leave. That is strange why leave the room with an uncleaned pullout sofa?

Stayed here one night to drop my daughter off at Fort Gregg. When we walked in, the lobby has an old, musty smell. We got to our room and the toilet seat was broken, tv and phone didn’t work. They moved us to another room. That room looks like it’s had some poorly covered cosmetic changes. The shelf to the fridge was broken and propped up beside it. The shower curtain is angled weird so it wouldn’t stay pulled closed all the way. The bedroom door wouldn’t stay shut. The hot water only worked if your turned the faucet all the way to hot water side. Oddly, the bathroom ceiling had little curly hairs all over it. The sink faucet sprays water everywhere. It’s definitely old and outdated. If you are just staying a night or two, it’s ok. Anything longer, spend the extra money and go somewhere else.

My stay here on 12/30/23--01/01/24 was very nice! The room was clean,it was comfy, the staff I encountered even Mr Chris was very respectful and warming to to us as well as other guests. There was a slight power outage in certain parts of the building but was handled swiftly! I would definitely recommend this hotel..it also has an indoor pool which we also used! The breakfast was ok,only thing is it would be nice to also offer beef n turkey meat products and not just pork! Again,my stay was very comforting after a 5hr drive! THANK YOU!!!

We made reservations for a 2 night stay in February for October, when we got to the motel around 11pm, very tired, we were informed that they were overbooked and had to drive on another few miles on the interstate to another motel. We were told we could return the next night but had to let them know immediately! It turned out to be a blessing as the Comfort Inn on Crater Rd in Petersburg was so much better. The management was the best, everything was very clean and the most pleasant staff we have met in a long time. Needless to say we will never try to stay at the Country Inn again and will always go to the Comfort Inn every time we are in the area.

We were on the 1st floor. The people above us had a zillion kids, or so it seemed by all the noise. You can hear everything above you and I think they were having races all night and restarted at 5am. Also, when A/C or heat kicked on it sounded like a freight train coming through the room. Needless to say, we got no sleep! Breakfast was great though! Lol

Walked in after driving all day for our reservation. No welcome from the front desk. Not even a smile. Pool was closed. Bag of vomit in the hallway across from our room. People smoking pot right at the entrance. Tv made sound with no picture. Felt incredibly unsafe. We will never stay at a another raddison after this. READ REVIEWS before staying somewhere.

Those are roaches under those cups in the photos. Not doing catch and releases! Wanted to make sure we knew where they were at. I give a 0 for pest control. Roaches, roaches and more roaches in the room. Dropping from ceiling when dusk comes. Found a bug on the bed. Cannot confirm or deny it was a bed bug. I did search the beds and see they have bed bug covers on the mattresses so that is a plus. Had to leave at 9 pm. No other rooms available, but told the front desk I didn’t want another room because where there are roaches in one area, then there is a roach infestation everywhere. And folks these weren’t water bugs either. They were coming out from behind the paneling where the head boards are (running up the walls and to the ceiling), and under the beds and crawling on the floor. Front desk folks were pretty good. Tina (day shift) was accommodating to us to get us a room since ours wasn’t ready yet. Jasmine (night shift) held her composure and professionalism while I was doing the best I could to remain calm about the roaches in our room. She offered to come and spray and clean the room, but then it would be hard to breathe in there from roach spray and that wouldn’t help anyways since more would probably be on there way out. I was also offered a cancellation and to leave, but I told her I had nowhere to go. She did try to call another place for us. I refused it as it was a downgrade from what I paid at this hotel. These hotels are Way over priced. Jasmine tried to satisfy my needs, but I was able to take care of things and get out of there and go elsewhere. She did give me a credit on top of the cancellation and an apology. I appreciate that. Floors and carpets are not cleaned properly. Pool area is dark and not well lit. Fire pit out of order. Rooms smell musty (like the smell of the inside of a camper/tent/trailer). The drop ceiling in the lobby area broke due to a water leak and there was water all over in one area. They had a trash can there for the water to go into. Positives: staff, coffee available 24 hours, late check out, breakfast served until 10:30, pool open late, clean bathroom, clean and bright linens and blankets, some modern decor. But if you don’t mind taking a roach or other kind of bug (got one off the bed) home with you, then have at it folks, but we had to check all of our belongings before we left to see if any bugs crawled up in anything; some modern updates (furniture and decor) and color schemes, clean linens, blankets and towels, beds seem comfortable, but we didn’t sleep in them. The updates for tiling, flooring and painting have definite short cuts in them. Not quality work done.

Aside from breakfast (that wasn’t good & I had no hot food options) this was an AWESOME stay at an awesome hotel! WOULD definitely stay again! I was a solo traveler & the location made me feel safe. I TRULY appreciated hotel staff, Brian. I informed him of a couple of issues I had with my room and he immediately resolved it. Brian was VERY pleasant and nice from check in to check out. Thank you Brian as this type of hospitality & kindness is RARE and EVEN more so nowadays!

The rooms are super dated. The curtains don't close. The outlets don't work. The rooms smelly musty. They have roaches. Not worth the price. The older Caucasian lady is rude and mean to anyone who is not Caucasian even if you are nice to her. She spreads lies about valid financial institutions. She does not tell you the info you should be informed of during check in. Definitely not worth the price they are charging. Several TV channels have no images just audio

Easy check in, lobby was big, lemon water, friendly staff. The room was nice, clean, good tv and WiFi reception. Comfortable bed and quiet. Breakfast had basics: eggs, sausage, French toast sticks, make your own waffle, delicious bagels! Cereal, oatmeal, apples, oranges, good coffee, and juice. Friendly staff who were constantly cleaning. The lady with the boot was so nice.

It was very nice the staff were friendly and room was clean. Only issue was the doorknob in the rooms bathroom didn't latch. Didn't matter to much since all the other doors were fine but I would have been a little more comfortable if the door wasn't just able to be pushed open. But I'm sure this isn't an issue in all rooms.

We stayed here for a weekend for a baseball tournament with hopes the pool was open. The pool was closed and empty and the gym equipment was broken. The hot breakfast was yummy and employees were very friendly. Besides the pool being closed we had a comfy stay at this hotel and would consider staying here again.

We booked a room several months ago for a wedding through the designated link provided by the bride and groom. We received confirmation texts and emails for our stay before arriving from out of state, only to arrive at the hotel after the wedding to be told our reservation had been canceled. We were not the only out of state visitors for this wedding to be put in this situation, and there were guests who attempted to check in after us who joked that they were grateful not to be a part of this wedding only to be told the exact same thing before being turned away. Nothing was offered for an explanation or a form of compensation and we are now driving several hours back home at midnight. We do not recommend staying here, but at the very least please triple check your reservation status.

Definitely needs a make over. Was clean but the curtains wouldn’t even close. The TV was literally falling off the wall and crooked. I went to the front desk twice about these issues night and day shift. I had to deal with both issues myself. I will say I did feel safe and the staff was nice but less then helpful.

We received a very warm welcome by the night shift front desk woman. The entrance was clean and they offered diffused orange water. The room was standard but it unfortunately it needed some touch up cleaning. There was debris on the floor and some disgusting white stuff on the curtain and grease on nightstand. The bathroom had hair on the ceiling and floor. Maintenance staff needs to brush up on spackling and caulking skills. The bed was fine but in dire need of new pillows. It was like sleeping on cotton balls. Hit breakfast provided. All in all for $87+ taxes it was good. Cheapest in the area.

The staff was nice, the the room was nice, everything was clean, and up-to-date. my only negative comment would be that our handicap room had no provision for my son who is in a wheelchair to take a shower. There was no chair for shower and bathroom mirror is way too high for someone in wheelchair. Other than that very nice.

Nice place to spend a few nights. Clean, central location so many things around if needed. Heated pool, good breakfast free. Longer stays. Shorter stays, 3 days between room servicing, so just be aware you may have to ask for towels and keep the room up a bit on your own

This hotel was wonderful. Their one bedroom suites are very accommodating. The check in process was extremely smooth. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel as well! Will definitely stop here for road trip needs.

Exceeded our expectations. Probably the best decently priced hotel during our drive along 95. It was pretty clean, which was the most important. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The receptionist Tara was very pleasant and welcoming, great customer service.

Cozy stay right off of the highway. Nice and clean. Rooms are great with a separate little seating area. I gave 4 stars only because the hot water wasn't working well and I had to take a cold shower in the morning. Breakfast also wasn't great but that is not something that I would expect much from hotel breakfast.
