Really disappointing after all the hype. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone after my stay this weekend. I was only here for a quick overnight family stay (Saturday night) at a supposedly top notch all-inclusive. There were very few staff and those that did appear did not seem to want to smile. The answer to most questions about one's stay is "look at the app", which is not very helpful. One buffet restaurant option only (although we did see something else that looked open, but which was not mentioned on the club med app!) There were very few activities on the Sunday and having missed the one activity in the morning, we were essentially left taking in the views - or we could have done yoga! The pool was therefore very full. Simply going for a walk did not appear to be an option, as no self-directed trails, according to staff. Drinks service has been interesting! No bar member has really looked enthused about serving people and everywhere I have had to go and 'search' for service - no table service anywhere except the restaurant (once you found the people serving wine in the first place). Had to argue with the bartender to replace a water with some cranberry post-mix in it, because in his view the water is still drinkable! Mini club seemed to be a hit with our daughter, but again they seemed less than enthusiastic to explain how it worked and what was going on, to begin with. The hotel room was pretty good, but no better than I would expect in a new four star resort. In summary, poor experience from start to finish. Very expensive for the quality of experience.

We went in blind but this has been one the most memorable experiences for our family. They have everything possible for every age group under one roof. The rooms were beautiful and extremely clean. The food had exceptional variety to cater to everyone. There were numerous activities and daycare for the kids so we could relax. The staff was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. A special mention about Sam, the gym instructor. Very genuine and a fun guy. His Aqua gym class was one of the highlights of our trip.He made sure to check on us everytime he crossed us and was always around if we needed anything. The daycare staff was great as well. Our daughter had the best time ever. All in all it was one of our best vacations.Definitely going back. Highly recommend it.

This was our fourth stay and third location for club med. While it was our first ski vacation with the chain. I found it to be a very different experience than their Caribbean holidays. The location felt more like an office building than a fun resort. The room for very intelligently done which I appreciated it as a parent of three kids. I felt like the programming was really lacking though during the day other than skiing there was very little to do. There also wasn’t many fun activities that they added like why was there no sledding or other ways to take advantage of the environment. Also, the food was really subpar. I found almost nothing I liked even if it looked pretty. It didn’t taste good. Very disappointing.

Not worth the money! The rooms were comfortable but one room could not be locked. It took 2 days for them to fix that. The children’s pool was cool temperature and the adult area was cold. The hot tub was warm. The chef service in the buffet was okay. The food selection and taste was fantastic. Sometimes staff came around to help. Only on the second day did we find out they had children’s plates and utensils. Even though we signed up our granddaughter for Baby Club Med, we did not get anything special for her. We had to enquire about accessing their “baby rooms” and the children’s outside play area. This Club Med is in the heart of ski hills. Lots of trails to check out but otherwise not much to do during summer months.

The resort was great! Staff was super friendly and helpful for anything we needed. The location weaver beautiful and peaceful. The food was spectacular. Love all the selections they had to offer and with the buffet format, was able to get as much of every item as we wanted. The rooms we clean and comfortable. The amenities offered were top notch and we really enjoyed our stay. It is a different feel from the traditional tropical setting but if you take advantage of everything they had to offer, you really get a lot from it. Will definitely look to visit again!

Only will speak to my recent experience with this location, the experience included 2 days of no skiing and completely quarantined in the hotel due to the weather, and the following points may largely due to this 2 non skiing days. Pros: very good location! Room is spacious, exceptional views in the room if facing river. Food is exceptional when comparing to the recent experience I had on a main stream cruise trip, and yes we just come back from a trip on Royal Caribbean’s oasis class. The food is totally spotlight of this whole trip. Cons: Not much to do if not skiing, even though we were told this is extremely rare for this mountain to be closed for 2 days and never happened in last 10 years. I guess we were not very lucky this time. Have to admit that the whole hotel is trying very hard to entrain everyone in these 2 days but still not up to my expectation due to the following reason. There are too many damn kids! Even though I bring my kid with us but the numbers of kids running in the lobby at 10pm is outrageous! Everything turned a bit out of control because so many un attended kids idling. I have spotted: 1. Teens/kids mixing contents of different tea bags and bet to drink, making a crowd in front of the coffee dispenser and causing a scene. 2. Teens/kids try each flavour at the soda dispenser, or mix flavour to create their own, continue to try multiple times until they nail it, but completely ignore the line up behind. 3. Teens/kids start to cut you off in the line when waiting for certain food item in the buffet. Yes, they are bored in that two days, because no skiiing activity allowed, and eventually back to normal when mountain is open to ski. I would definitely expect more from the management of the hotel in these scenarios, to maintain other guests experience.

Excellent family vacation destination. Rooms are compact and encourage mixing in common areas as superior family rooms don't have chairs or desk. WiFi service is slow without additional charges. Staff is friendly and skiing is excellent with lessons available and nearby gondola to mountain top.

A bit too family oriented... pool/spa close at 19:00 and breakfast (main buffet) at 09:45, too early. There are small kids running everywhere without parents, feels like a huge daycare. We expected more of some activities, for example the juggling class is mainly kids playing alone with balls (teacher was playing by herself) and the circus aerial class ended up being 1or 2 minutes per child, not a true 1 hour class as we thought. Our family room was clean/quiet but some of the decoration felt cheap like it came from Ikea. Food was overall ok, only a few things stood out like the beef. There was no water bottle in the room, everywhere is tap water which tastes like tap water. Ski was great and their ski locker is very convenient! Overall we enjoyed but I don't think it's worth the money and if you don't ski then I would absolutely go somewhere else.

Hard to be excited about this hotel… food is average. “All in” they mean, no water in the room, no room service, no extras (toothpaste, etc), parking is pretty far from the hotel, the app won’t work properly and the only answer I’ve got from the concierge was - it’s technical, anything else I can help you with? - my answer, yes, I need to book spa and other services - concierge, oh that’s through the app now 😂 If this is your first ClubMed experience, don’t let it be your last, this one is really bad and expensive, but the others are amazing! Had to update the review…. The day before my family left, we decided to buy one of those super expensive packages of pictures… 20 to be precise, I was told all pictures would be uploaded to our app… but the day we were to leave, only 17 were there, so I went to the photo area and asked if they could fix it. They said all 20 would be there next day (once we were gone), next day no surprise, pictures weren’t there, so I called, they said they would solve, that I should wait another day…. It’s been 10 days and guess? Yeap - no pictures. Even after all the chasing and paying over $20 for a digital image, we didn’t get it.

Beatiful area and beautiful hotel. Very centered around activities and families which was great for us. Kids club is a must as they do all kind of activities throughout the day. Missing a few elements on service and food to make this 5 star. Service was ok but not top notch. Ex: we had to bring our own luggage to our room, waiters more focused on picking up plates than providing service ... like they dont serve you coffee in the morning unless you ask as much is self serve. Eating options are ok for a long weekend but very redundant if you stay a week... only 1 buffet and 1 resto included + premium resto. Food is ok but lacks diversity... would benefit from theme nights given buffet is top option. Activities are great and well organized. Enjoy!!

If you're a couple seeking a getaway focused on intimacy and fun, this place is not the right choice. It caters primarily to families with everything geared towards kids. While there's nothing wrong with that for those seeking a family retreat, it's definitely not suitable for couples. Despite being situated in a stunning environment with access to breathtaking views and mountains, the activities mainly revolve around nature. However, it's puzzling that all the onsite restaurants, pools, gym, and other facilities close so early, either at 7pm or 9pm. We really expected different timing for an all-inclusive resort, maybe if it targeted couples or adults the timing would differ. The indoor theatre is designed for children's entertainment, making it frustrating to enjoy any show with kids running and yelling around. The only redeeming aspects of the trip were the helpful instructors, staff, and the enjoyable biking group we joined. Our real fun began on Saturday night when the theatre area transformed into a dance party. Unfortunately, some kids still didn’t go to sleep. While the open bar until 1am was appreciated, it hardly satisfying as this was the ONLY thing grown up’s could do.

I don't normally write reviews but I couldn't pass up this opportunity. The ski instructors were fantastic. They very supportive, informative and patient. In three days, I went from the basic greens to riding on the blues in no time, mind you I have 20 years of snowboarding experience but they were there to teach me all the necessary ski skills that led me to riding comfortably on the moguls. Riding next to the St. Lawrence River was breath taking, especially when the ships passed by, in addition to the views from the hotel were just absolutely spectacular. The food was flavourful and fresh with great visual presentation. The daycare and staff were kind and friendly towards my children 4- and 2 year old. My kids were happy at the end of every day, looking forward to going back the next day. I couldn't have asked for a better relaxing escape away from home.

Great place to stay, but you have to use it to its full potential. Book all the mountain biking classes daily, take gondola ride.Quisine is to die for.River view rooms are great, mountain ones not so much. Evening show wit a flying gymnast lady are of great technique and shades of drama

I went to Club Med Québec Charlevoix to celebrate both my parents' birthdays. Our stay was magical! The staff was dedicated to making the weekend special for them. The food was excellent, lots of options even for vegetarians and vegans! I highly suggest trying the appetizers offered at the Chalet that present beautifully the products of the region. The evening entertainment was great: we had so much fun watching the GO team on stage. Spa treatments, yoga and hiking kept us busy (and relaxed!) the whole weekend. Special thanks to Francis for his warm greetings and genuine care for clients. Can't wait to come back!
