Tudo maravilhoso! A casa é linda, com um jardim deslumbrante, um riacho pata quem gosta de tomar banho gelado de rio. Piscina, sauna, hidro... tudo isto e um café da manhã saboroso e o atendimento de Miguel muito atencioso a todo momento. Recomendo!

Meu Marido e eu somos proprietários do lugar. Não somos área rural como colocado aqui, estamos localizados no Rocio, Fazenda Inglesa, em uma área cercados pela mata Atlântica. Nossa propriedade é rodeada por um rio de águas claras e limpas onde se pode nadar, temos um poço é uma prainha no local. SOMOS um B&B, e alugamos para casamentos e temporada. A casa tem piscina, sauna, hidro massagem, área de SPA, área gourmet com churrasqueira e forno de lenha, salão de TV, salão de jogos com sinuca, tênis de mesa, carteado, … Salão de estar, jantar e biblioteca com lareiras, um varandão, espaços gramados, e fogo de chão. Vale a pena vir nos conhecer.

Had an absolutely amazing time here. Felt like staying with family, or old friends. Miguel and Rita did everything to make us feel as home. Starting with greeting on arrival and continuing through out our stay. Really enjoyed collective dinner with fellow visitors. This place not just matched, but really exceeded our expectations. Casa do Fachoalto is an amazing bed & breakfast and wedding and events venue in the outskirts of the city of Petrópolis, which is 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from the famous city of Rio de Janeiro. The bed & breakfast is in a beautifully forested area where you can hear the sound of pristine creeks flowing through the property, which makes it a perfect getaway from the city to spend sometime connected to nature. Near the property you can find a swimming pond with a waterfall and hikes through the beautiful mountains of Petrópolis. The accommodation was upscale and very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very well kept. The breakfast in the morning was very generous with different types of bread, jams, juices, yogurt, and fruits. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming! My stay at Casa do Fachoalto was wonderful, everything I was looking for during my vacation. I could relax, go to the hot tub, watch the sky full of stars at night, and go swimming in the river. It’s also a 30-minute drive from the historic city of Petrópolis where you can go to restaurants, museums, and the movie theater. I would definitely go back and I already recommended to other friends visiting Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

We were fortunate enough to spend several nights at this very special B&B. Firstly,the setting is magical..Beautiful,serene - a Garden of Eden ! The owners become almost immediately like very,very close friends or beloved family. Their warmth,openness and genuine concern for ones comfort is exceptional. We loved the room we stayed in - king size bed and just so inviting and restful.We also were treated to fresh local food and we felt not like guests,but family.. Overall, this is a very memorable destination for anybody who appreciates the best of Brazilian hospitality,scenery and away from the madness of urban life.. Bravo !
