This hotel is just beautiful. Simple and elegant at the same time, with very pleasant garden and water fountains. Beautiful rooms and beds. Very quiet and close to the main tourist attractions. Restaurant open all day, with spectacular breakfast served in a beautiful dining room, or wherever you want within the hotel premises. Courteous and helpful staff. A place to visit more than once

Great location, walking distance to the main sights. Excellent service, everyone was polite and helpful. We used the indoor heated pool and it was clean and warm. Lots of options for breakfast. Definitely a great place to visit

Attention is very good, particularly a lady called Silvia at front desk! Food and breakfast at the gardens is highly recommended. Rooms are large and comfortable.

Old world charm in this luxurious mountainous setting of Petropolis. The hotel's rooms are spacious, elegant and come with all amenities; the grounds are manicured to perfection! All the staff, from the reception, dining, kitchen and housekeeping are in tune to every guest's every needs, all day, everyday. Swimming in the indoor or outdoor pools, relaxing in the sauna or just strolling through the gardens or into town will give you memories for a lifetime. The hotel is centrally located and only minutes parks, churches and is in the historic area. The food is well prepared with local culinary delights. My simple breakfast was ham, egg and cheese toast, local fresh papaya, rolls with fresh butter and orange zest (marmalade) and a cup of fresh-brewed twinings Breakfast tea. This destination should definitely be on your list of get aways!

The place is really beautiful and the food is great. I ordered the Dourado fish and the only problem was the size of the portion, which could be bigger. The staff was kind and polite and the overall experience was really positive. The prices are fair, in general.
