A short but steep walk up to this 18th Century pagoda is a must do in Phang-nga. The cooling breeze is wonderful and we found it a peaceful place to have a picnic. The sounds of the Songkran celebrations filtered up through the trees. Walking back to our accommodation we received many welcome and refreshing soakings from the local children (and some adults!).

Went to the monument in the early evening, fun! Overall it's deserted, not very well maintained with bad lighting and uneven stairs. But, that is part of the charm, it's not overrun by tourists, no one charges admission, the view is great, the solitude is wonderful and the feeling of being around something old and somewhat mysterious is pretty cool.

It's an old conserved monument from Ayuthaya period. Deserted place , not much to see except the monument which is not preserved well.
