Nice place to be. Very friendly owner. Breakfast was amazing. Dinner was also very good. We had curry with shrimps and sweet potatoes from their own garden. Very yummy. Do not anticipate a 3 to 5 star hotel. The owner and the natural surrounding makes this place magical. It is a place to relax and enjoy the nature. There is a waterfall 2km away. You can go by bicycle or motorbike which you can rent there. It is a small waterfall with many plateaus. So one can walk from one plateau to the other. Young kids will love this adventure. They can wade in the water and climb.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Gerard's and Nui's place - the garden is so beautiful, the house is cosy, clean and spacious. Looking forward to come bavk!

Lovely friendly and helpful hosts. The food was outstanding and prepared in a very clean way so no worrying about tummy bugs. The place is so peaceful and nice to be away from the hassle of a busy town. The children loved looking at the bugs and my youngest very fussy eater wanted more food. Would stay again for sure. The kindest host we have encountered as help take my daughter to the hospital for and ear infection and even waited with us. Outstanding helpfulness and would recommend to families and couples.

One of the most friendly and homelike stays we have had so far in Thailand. No doubt the highest point are the hosts, Gerard and Nui really go all the way for you to make the most of your stay. They lent us a couple of bikes to go to the waterfall that is pretty near, we hire a motorbike directly from them, Nui managed for us the booking for a tour through Phang nga bay and also cooked for us an amazing dinner. A piece of advice for anyone going to Manora Garden from the bus station: contact the hosts to make arrangements for transportation in advance; Phang nga bus station didn't have as many transport options as we expected so we ended up taking a motorbike taxi which was a terribly frightening experience.

Fabulous bungalows in beautiful, peaceful gardens. Friendly, helpful hosts who definitely go the extra mile to look after their guests. They drove us into town for a meal, took us to a local festival, phoned ferry for us to make sure it was running. Superb.

We drove to this place to see the rooms and were met by a scary-looking and unpleasant worker (possibly the gardener?). The owner was nowhere to be seen and the lobby was deserted. My thai partner asked 3 times politely to see the rooms and all we got back was a bland/rude look and incomprehensible sounds (even to a Thai). It was disappointing to be treated like this after seeing the good reviews here. If the owner is going to let his workers doing the customer support, he should at least give them some training or hire the right person for the job. Cannot recommend a place like that and driving far from the city in the middle of nowhere to experience this.
