Update
on
Fiber
Renewal
Dec
2021.
To
renew
painlessly:
1. TOT
does
not
send
SMS
or
a
bill
reminding
that
service
will
be
terminated
before
the
subscription
ends.
One
must
put
it
on
one’s
online
calendar
with
an
alert
to
tell
you
ahead
of
time
or
get
an
unpleasant
surprise
when
one’s
internet
connection
shuts
down
at
perhaps
the
worse
time.
2. The
cashier
accepts
cash
or
credit
only,
no
QR
money
transfer
is
set
up
at
this
time.
For
those
who
find
this
out
at
the
cashier’s
counter
be
aware
that
there
are
no
ATMs
on-site.
3. Since
the
pandemic
the
ATMs
have
been
scarcer
in
the
immediate
area
since
the
closure
of
many
convenience
stores.
4. To
repay
one’s
Fiber
get
a
ticket
at
the
#2
button
for
Customer
Service
as
one
has
to
do
the
paperwork
and
perhaps
change
the
subscription.
5. After
that
is
done
one
can
press
the
#1
button
to
pay
the
cashier.
6. After
payment
one
goes
back
to
Customer
Service
to
sign
the
contract
and
get
one’s
service
continued.
7. Depending
on
the
time
of
day
the
area
can
be
congested,
the
parking
limited
and
many
people
waiting
in
line
to
pay
their
bills.
8. Unless
one
lives
in
the
immediate
area
it
may
be
a
hassle
to
go
to
the
office,
especially
in
the
rain
or
a
very
hot
and
humid
day
in
heavy
traffic.
Taking
a
moto-ci
taxi
to
and
from
one’s
condo
relieves
one
of
having
to
find
parking
and
dealing
with
traffic.
9. The
cashier
closes
at
16:00,
the
office
will
stay
open
until
16:30.
10. One
can
possibly
pay
their
bill
at
Customer
Service
with
cash
only
as
they
cannot
process
credit
cards
after
the
cashier
closes
out.
It
can
be
a
trying
experience
but
the
staff
is
doing
their
best
to
help
people,
Thais
and
foreign.
There’s
usually
someone
working
the
que
machine
and
helping
people
find
the
right
service.
I
find
getting
service
at
this
office
less
nerve-wracking
and
pleasant
compared
to
renewing
one’s
driving
license
at
the
local
DMV
in
the
States.
I
hope
this
helps.
