The beach is no smoking and anti rubbish with a hefty fine if caught. which even as a smoker I think is a great idea as I hate to see rubbish, although we went down on a Wednesday night at about 7pm there was quite a bit of rubbish in sand and sea, not sure if some one comes and cleans before next day as always seems fairly clean in the day time. We went as a family with a young child so didn't get involved in the activities such as para gliding, wind surfing, power boats and jet skiing but all avalible here at Jomtien Beach. Over all a good place to visit if your near by.

Now (July 2021) Jomtien Beach is realtive peaceful. It is not as loud and as busy as it used to be before Covid-Restrictions. Still some restaurants are open. One may even consider to rent a chair and an umbrella for a little time on the beach. May be the best time ever to enjoy Jomtien Beach.

I have stayed here in Jomtien every time for almost 20 years. Great place and it`s more relaxed than in Pattaya. Lots of thai and international restaurants. Markeds, bars, beach and nearby sights and other activities. Lots of Hotels, guest houses and condos. A great place to stay.
