Very crowded and I was confused where I could sunbathe or swim without buying an Umbrella.. Decided to keep walking behind pier and found a nicer quieter spot which I’ve added a pic of. Didn’t see any accommodation along the stretch that looked very chill to stay. Tawaen beach felt fun for kids and groups if you want to hire a jet ski or that kind of thing. Beautiful view from the top as you walk down!

Dirty, noisy and crouded! So disappointed! Plastic everywhere, starting seeing it from the ferry in the ocean and then on the shore line in all beaches as well as in the water. So laud and noisy. Speed boats making and noise on purpose to attract attention and customers, ferry honking multiple times before each departure to rush travelers, jetski zipping back and forth and not mentioned tons of crouds! They advertise the Pattaya as a beach destination but once you get there they tell you that the water is so dirty and polluted that you should go to the island and once you get to the islands you can't even relax.

Nice clean beach and crystal clear water. I saw small fishes swimming around. Ferry to Tawaen from Bali Hai pier is just 30 baht (please check timings), Speedboat one way 150 baht and round trip 250 to 300 baht.

One of the pristine beaches of Thailand. Pure white sands and clear water. There are lots of restaurant available on the beach. Most visited by all travelers. And best part is you can hire scooter and discover the island on your own.

Very crowded but also a very beautiful beach. Place appears to be under siege from tourist from India. Nice sand and water but as usual in Thailand only from far away, upon closer inspection you can see plenty of garbage in the water and washing ashore in places..

Horrible and overcrowded, all pictures with no boats are probably old or made at impossible hours of the day, the beach looks full of plastic and with no space to swim as is full of boat parked. I would NEVER, EVER, return or recommend this place, is a tourist scam. That's all. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Very crowded beach with lots of umbrellas and water sports activities (jet skis, banana boats, you can even go snorkling to great places using boat). They have 711 too so no worries if you cannot find halal food at the food stalls. This is one of tourist attractions where you can chill, enjoy the sun, and swimming.

You can get to the beach in different ways to direct from Pattasya or on the main port of Kon Lana and then on the Tuk-Tuka for 20 baht. On the beach you can take a bike for rent in 200 baht to 17.00. Also a lot of all facilities with food, different prices. Sunbeds from 50 to 100 baht

Very crowded but also a very beautiful beach. Place appears to be under siege from tourist from India. Nice white sand, and blue water but as usual in Thailand it only looks good from far away, or in highly curated photos. Upon closer inspection you can see plenty of garbage in the water, and not just plastic either. Some of it is washing ashore some was simply thrown in the sand and is decomposing there. There are plenty of shops along the beach, some serving food and alcohol, others selling beach essentials and trinkets. Bathroom situation is rather horrific, the public bathrooms cry for vengeance from heavens. Sadly the water is crisscrossed buy what looks like lane lines in a competitive swimming pool.

One of the touristy beaches of Coral Island. Offers panoramic views of the Gulf of Siam. A popular place for a beach walk or for sunbathing. Water sports activities like speed boat, seawalk, water scooter, banana boat, etc are available. Did a speed boat ride and seawalk. Had a thrilling experience. There are a number of shacks along the beach with relaxing chairs but these chairs are chargeable. These shacks also offers snacks and beverages. This beach is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea.

It stands out as a highly favored destination among both tourists and locals. It is the longest (700 metres) and the busiest beach on the island, with plenty of restaurants but also speedboats and jetskis making noise. The beach itself is remarkable, featuring an expansive shoreline and pristine, transparent waters ideal for swimming. Lined with an array of amenities, including restaurants, hotels, bars, and a convenient pier connecting visitors directly from Bali Hai Cape in Pattaya, Ta Waen Beach has become the ultimate choice on the island. Its popularity is evident through the constant influx of visitors, particularly during holidays shared by Southeast Asian countries. Whether seeking for a place to stay or simply a place to unwind, Ta Waen Beach is a perfect getaway for everyone!

Koh Larn really surprised me, it's a short and very cheap ferry journey from Pattaya. The beaches can get very busy, but it's not difficult to find a quiet spot to relax. Or you can enjoy the many water sports activities on this beach. I will be back for sure.

If you enjoy outdoor activities and nature, consider visiting Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. It's known for its stunning limestone cliffs, lush rainforests, and a pristine lake. You can go hiking, take boat tours, and even stay in treehouse accommodations. It's a beautiful and tranquil destination for nature lovers.

Great beach with lots of bars and restaurants and lovely water to swim in, however really busy and some of the prices are a little high. Be careful of the crowds, the stingers in the water and being ripped off. Beautiful photo location from atop the hill overlooking.

Tawaen Beach is by far the most developed and the most visited beach on Koh Larn. All the activities can be found here, Jet Ski, Banana Boat and more. There are several resorts here if you would like to stay at Tawaen Beach for the night. Many restaurants and bars around to have lunch or dinner. I only stayed for 20 minutes, very loud constant arrival of speed boats and jetski was disturbing for me. If you look for quiet beach this is not the one.

Big beach with crystal clear water. Good for children, as there are no depths. Would be better without all the noise from speed boats and jet skies.

Day trip with family on 15.6.22. Was not crowded, so enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Be prepared to pay for everything including beachside chairs and use of toilet.

Largest beach at Koh Larn island. Nice and clear water. Many restaurants at the beach offer local food. The food is delicious. Water sports are also available, Jet Skie, Banana Boat, Snorkelling.

Not my favourite beach in Koh Larn but it’s the most popular one and is the sea is still very beautiful especially in the morning when the tide is relatively high. Plenty of beach cafe along the beach.

The beach is really beautiful and clean with turquoise water. Speed boats and jet skis available for rent. There is a market and a 7-11 at the back so you can pretty much get almost anything you need in situe. There are beach chairs with sun umbrellas for rent just 100 baht. The beach is usually crowded with tourists but big enough to have your own space. Great experience for me.

Great place to enjoy for every age group. Children can make sandcastle and play with water. Adults can try speedboats or banana boats. You can also run on the beach or enjoy a few drinks. You can reach the beach by ferry or by speedboat. The water and the beach are very clean and beautiful. Click a few snaps and enjoy the beach.

Good beach. Can travel there using ferry or speed boats. Ferry travel is cheaper, may take longer travelling period. I enjoyed though. Speed boats are very fast and thrilling. I enjoyed it as well. Speed boats are a bit costly, still you can choose. At the beach you'll find many food outlets serving delicious sea foods, popular drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Your call ;) You can also enjoy number of water rides like jet-skiing etc. People really have a good time here.
