Great place to visit in Phayao Lake. Small shrine with wooden long boat ride to the island in the middle of the lake for only 50 baht. Phayao Lake at sunset is very beautiful. Recommended highly for a visit by eBike CNX and our group riders.

Actually a bit of a disappointment, but kind of a must-see when you're in town. The bridge is gone, so you have to go there by boat.

An old temple in the middle of the lake which a boat ride is needed. Nothing much to do there but you can enjoy the view on the way. What a poor experience to see the local just caught fishes, turtles literally from the lake itself and put them in a bucket for anyone to pay some amount of money in order to let them free. What an easy way to do some business!

Fun to take the little wooden boat here and see the small Buddhist shrine in the middle of Lake Phayao. Great scenery on a cool and cloudy day. The man paddles the long wooden boat there slowly like a gonolier in Venice. Shrine is very small and still under construction with workmen hammering and drilling when we were there May 2022. Still worth seeing for 50 baht. Recommended by Captain Dee. May 8 2022.

    - 50 Baht each person for 6 people on boat - 100 Baht each person for 2 people on boat - Better give some extra tips to the driver, he got a cheap daily paid. Many rounds don’t help him to get more money. The drivers deserve tips! - Staff shouldn’t clean off flowers when visitors still there. It’s better to clean when visitors left, otherwise next time visitors would never want to buy flowers from the pier.

I came here during the rainy season. There are few people and the ticket for the boat ride is about 50 baht per person (if there are 5 visitors).
