Very nice Hotel!!! The hotel is located directly at the lake promenade. You can walk to some temples and sights in the area. It is pleasantly clean and very quiet. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The staff is helpful and friendly. The standard apartments are very spacious and have all a (very nice) side view to the lake and a mini balcony. The existing VIP rooms (2 bedrooms in the apartment) have a frontal and side view to the lake and a larger balcony. Free parking spaces are available. Bicycles can also be borrowed free of charge. Very good hotel for weekend trip or vacation!

The 5 Stars is all about the balcony facing the lake and the view from every corner of the suit, And yes, not everything was great, like the soft spongy bed and spongy pillows, ( oh yes, this mattress got to go, 555..) And of course the weird shower bathtub combination, it was not comfortable taking a shower, And no English channel on TV, But all of that did not bothered me, Service was good, the place was very clean, good parking space, and best location in town, where everything is just steps away, Before this hotel, I stayed in six other hotels in Phayao and this one by far my favorite. Nice design, clear and clean rooms. Nice personnel, easygoing. Flexible to bikers who are allowed to take their bike to the room. Rooms at lakeside are precious. Other rooms mostly lack view.. Breakfast is basic. Ideal position for walking along the lake as it is situated near the water. Lots of restaurants, coffeeshops and stores around. Sunset is spectacular.

Despite their best efforts: not a luxury hotel. This place strives for the 4/5 star hotel vibe, but ultimately it's an admirable failure. The verisimilitude is quickly banished as the slow bag chap prepares for action after you've already unloaded the car and made way for the lobby. When enquiring for a room we weren't allowed to see the room, they instead showed us a slide show of the room which wasn't actually the room we paid for. The pictures were of the more expensive room. The room itself was your standard 4 star cookie cutter fayre. No bad thing. The cleanliness was excellent, and the shower superb. Hot water arrived quickly, and was consistent. The bed however, was poor. Large, but ridiculously soft. This is worse than favouring firm or soft mattress. It was so soft that lying on the side of the bed you practically fell out as it collapsed beneath you. Made for an uncomfortable sleep, also as any move you or your partner made would ripple along to the other; like a half deflated bouncy castle. The breakfast was atrocious. A buffet breakfast which is a terrible idea considering how small the place was. The result was that the fried eggs, the sausage, and the ham were all stone cold. Inedible. The bread was stale and to top it off they had a documentary about sewage playing on the television. Very poor effort, inexcusable for the relative price in this quiet town. Phayao itself is wonderful though.

The best hotel in Phayao. The room is located near the lake. The room was so clean and full furnished.

Luxury in that town, yes. The lobby and lift area is nice and looks better than most small town hotel. The room we booked is their biggest and it feels luxurious. The breakfast is standard buffet with slightly more spread. Tips: stay there on Friday night to be walking distant to the very big night market and drinking place.

Although it is a modern & clean hotel right on the large lake lake, its beds are a disaster. The mattress is by far too soft to get a good night sleep. The hotel management really needs to address this issue.

Nice little hotel on the Lakeside. Only 3 years old so everything works! Ask for a lakeview room as they are the best. Friendly staff and plenty of eating drinking spots within walking distance.

Stayed 2 nights here . The the girl that checked is in was lovely shame she wasn't there more often as the other reception staff could hardly look at us . We like to say good morning or just Hi, but didn't feel like it was wanted ??? Our room was huge bed a bit harder than I like and no English TV channel at all was not a big issue but sometimes it's nice to relax and watch a movie . Their were some maintenance issues that need doing also . A big crack on the wall near the front door plus the drawers under the TV unit do not open . Breakfast was good once another guest told me I could order an omelette or eggs . They had eggs pre-cooked, so they were cold . It was a nice quiet hotel not sure how it is in tourist season as it's on a main road . Night markets and other restaurants in walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Phuglong.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week and very impressed! The Hotel is right across from Phayao Lake and had gorgeous views to see the sunset at the big lake. The Staffs were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good, the room was very nice ,quiet, good clean and had a comfortable bed. Also, Hotel located in the town, very convenient to go anywhere and to find something to eat. Had a great time here and would definitely recommend!

Spacious, clean and modern room but very poor sound proofing for a hotel at this price point. Mattresses were soft which is extremely rare in Thailand. Unfortunately it had started to show its age and felt sagging. Wifi was slow and unreliable. Bathroom got infested by ants and got the room changed. After that wifi came completely unusable. Mattress felt better though. For its price should get better but hard to find a good budget hotel in this town.

Clean and modern, but mattress like a hammock, bass sound at night, overloud TV at breakfast with screaming trivial Thai news and publicity, a torture. - No regret at the time of leaving the place.

Very beautiful hotel in the perfect location for Phayao nightlife. Right on Lake shore with large clean rooms. Beautiful and peaceful Phayao just 2 hours northeast of Chiangmai city. Loved this hotel. Recommended highly for a visit by eBike CNX and our group riders. Very accommodating and short walk to everything including the wooden boats ride to the island shrine in the middle of the lake which costs 50 baht.

🫤 This Hotel is stuck in the 80s, it needs to be refurbished. Room cleanliness is questionable, coffee corner is inexistant, breakfast is passable, but just. And they have to get rid of these fake plastic flowers, they are ugly and a magnet for dust.
