Neat place to ride to from Chiang Mai. 3 hour motorcycle ride thru nice mountains on good roads to lovely Phayao. Looks like Clear Lake California, without the libtards. Lovely peaceful little town with quaint bars and restaurants. Recommended highly.

Beautiful lake front city two hours drive from Chiang Mai by car. Beautiful scenery and slower pace of life here. Take a 50 baht ride in a wooden boat to a shrine in the lake, hand paddled by an old gondolier. Stay at Greenhill or Arunothai hotels and have great sunset views of the lake. Bring your eBike you will be able to ride everywhere and see more. Friendly happy place, recommended highly by eBike CNX and our group riders.

Kwan Phayao lake today has not been covered with water hyacinths like the past. There is quite clear on the surface. You would see the reflection of the remote mountain on the surface of the lake in the evening of the brigth day.

Beautiful view especially by sunset. Certainly on hot days it is very nice to walk there or sit on one of the many terraces.

Not too far from Chiang Mai and a great place to relax and take in the lovely lakeside view. It really is worth a stop on the way to Chiang Rai. There is also a central bus station in the small town that has good connections with most of northern Thailand as well as Bangkok
